Tried a while ago to buy CO2 cartridges from Good Nature but they’d sold out and they were expensive.
Did a bit of online searching and found threaded CO2 cartridges were used for loads of things, life jackets, tyre inflators etc. Wondered whether they had the same thread as my trap and they do, happy days..
I have never looked back since carrying co2 carts and an inflator on a ride.
Can’t complain for the price, i have always used these cartridges in my co2 pump when getting punctures, helping to seat a tubeless tyre or helping others in need whilst out and about on my bikes!
I don’t really see point in paying more for cartridges with brand stickers on considering at end of day they are single use and bin fodder after use (although i dispose of mine in metal skip at work)
These have always inflated my tyres to a consistent psi, although on 2.4 and above i either top up with a hand pump or start a 2nd cartridge depending on the situation/location I’m in.
Never had a dud either after couple boxes so i will continue to use in the future
I have used in conjunction with both below inflator’s without issue
Pro Bike Tool CO2 Inflator with Cartridge Storage Canister and
Peaty’s Holeshot CO2 Tyre Inflato
Being a keen cyclist I have to be prepared for the inevitable puncture. I use these because they are perfect for the job. Lightweight, ideal size and do the job. There are more expensive ones on the market but why pay more when these do the same thing just as well
I recently purchased the 10 pack of CO2 cartridges from Amazon, and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. As an avid cyclist, I always make sure to have a backup plan in case of a flat tire while on a ride. These cartridges have proven to be the perfect solution for my needs.
One of the best things about these cartridges is their size. They are small and lightweight, making them easy to store in my bag without taking up too much space. I no longer have to lug around a heavy pump or worry about finding a place to store it on my bike.
Another great feature of these cartridges is their performance. Each cartridge contains more than enough gas to fully inflate a tire, and I have never had to use more than one cartridge for a single tire. The cartridges are compatible with most inflators, making them versatile and easy to use.
And let’s not forget about the price. A pack of 10 cartridges at a reasonable price is a great deal. I feel like I am getting my money’s worth with this purchase.
Overall, I highly recommend the 10 pack of CO2 cartridges from Amazon for anyone in need of a reliable and easy-to-use solution for inflating bike tires while on the go. Their small size, lightweight, compatibility with most inflators, and reasonable price make them a 5-star product in my book.
So easy to use when you need a bit of air in your tyres, screw I to your inflator, then onto your tyre valve, and then twist until your tyre is inflated
These threaded CO2 cartridges work as expected, as long as the small adapter that you have to screw onto the top is well designed.
There is little to choose between CO2 cartridges so it generally comes down to price and/or speed of delivery if they are needed urgently.
It’s always the way, the purchase something to address an issue and that issue goes away after a lot of punctures recently I decided to buy these as my gadget that uses them only came with one cartridge and that got used ages ago.
I’ve not yet had a chance to test these so fingers crossed they are good and no empty!
Need to be used with an adapter suitable for the tyre valve.
Works really well to inflate a (repaired) tyre.
I would suggest trying it at home to ensure that you know how to use the system – better this that having to figure it out miles from anywhere!
Very important to use the insulating cover as the cylinders get very cold when discharging.
I use these on my home bar attached to a 5 litre keg. 1 cartridge will serve the whole keg but you’ll need another if you’re flushing pipes etc afterwards. Good value and do the job.
I was pleasantly surprised by these CO2 cartridges. Unbranded, and cheaper than a lot of alternative products, but they work as well as the named (more expensive) items.
Threaded to fit the standard CO2 tyre pumps (Lezyne, Pro Bike etc), they are very easy to use. I tend to carry at least 2 of these 16g cartridges, as one isn’t usually enough to fully inflate the tyre (works fine with lower pressure MTB, but road tyres need more than 1).
Definitely worth the money, and will no doubt be buying more (as punctures seem to be a fact of life nowadays)
Don’t think for a minute that ICO make the cartridges. They buy them in bulk and rebrand the packaging.
I suspect that most Co2 cartridges are made in only a limited number of factories.
As such I have no issues in buying the cheapest I can find as there is no measurable difference between one 16g cartridge and another.
These are great value for money and do the job.
I have never been a fan of single use products. However, I can justify it when cycling as using a car would have far greater environmental damage. Also I have always bought branded CO2 canisters. I always thought that the branded products would be better. I bought these unbranded type and was pleasantly surprised. They weigh the same as my regular type and they screw on to the inflator the same. They inflate the tyre the same. They are cheaper and don’t have any unnecessary paint on the product (better for the planet). They inflate a 700cc tyre on a 26 inch MTB tyre. My friend used one on his 29nr. The tyre was inflated, but not rock hard. I am really impressed and will buy again. I always carry 2 with me and they store into a small pocket or cycle jersey.
I inherited a CO2 tyre inflater from a friend. I quickly went and purchased these and I’m glad I did because after a couple of weeks a family stopped me on the cycle path and asked if I had a bicycle pump they could borrow! I loaded one of these up and blew up the tire. It was effortless and effective, I used two of these to pump up her tire. She was pleased and impressed by my high tech solution to her puncture.
I’ll be buying these when my current stash run out as they are good value and quantity for the money.
Arrived quickly, as I bought them for cycle punctures I hope I never have to use them, so I can’t say how many may be duds etc. But certainly look fine. Which is why they only get 4 stars, when I use one they’ll get 5 stars.
