Very good, powerful even on the low setting. Has a timer which is handy at night. It is a good size for small spaces and easy to assemble & move around when not in use compared to other fans.
Had this fan about 3 years maybe abit longer and used it so often and it’s still good had it running alnight on plenty occasions and it still keeps me cool
This fan (which is a generic design that I’ve seen sold under various brands) works fine and is very compact, as well as being unobtrusive in black. It’s a fair bit noisier than the similar sized Zanussi branded model I purchased last year and makes an annoying whining noise at all power levels. However given the low price it’s still good value in my view.
I have this fan in a corner in my one bedroom flat, and it cools things down so quickly. It’s a basement flat, so we can get stuffy without much airflow, but this remedies that within minutes.
At first I noticed that the material that they used is the cheap kind that it looks like it’s gonna break easily. I knocked it over one time and since then it’s been standing with a tilt but good thing it didn’t break and no changes with the airflow. What I like about it is it’s powerful even on the lowest setting. Just bear with the noise.
First tower fan I’ve owned and it’s much better than the usual round one, seems to reach your whole body rather than blast in your ear. Has kept my cats nice and cool too as it’s floor standing and the vents go right the way down.
June was a particularly hot month this year and pup need some extra help. This fan has done tbr trick. Its far better than the little office fan we had (although we still use it for another room). Packs out a really strong airflow, even on the low setting, and maintains a cool airflow too. The only thing i’ve noticed that I dont like is how much energy it uses in comparison but I dont care if it’s helping my four legged friend with the heat this summer!
I needed a replacement fan and this one is far superior to my previous one.
Even on the lowest setting alone, it was plenty breezy, and much quieter than I was expecting. Still makes the usual noise a fan would, but it doesn’t drown out other noises either. Very much recommended!
After trying a few fans! This one is by far the best I’ve found.
It is quite powerful compared to the ones I’ve tried and for the price. You can’t really go wrong!
Assemble it to the base and plug it in. Noise level good, we don’t find it noisy and quieter than desktop fans. It is also just as cooling and you can turn the timer off if you wish. Great item.
I bought this fan because several reviews suggested it was quiet, it is the furthest thing from quiet, it drowns out my Dolby atmos system even on its lowest setting of 1.
BUT, it is phenomenal at moving lots of air and does a fantastic job of keeping you cool. I’d say if you wear headphones, it’s fantastic quality, if you have sensitive hearing, probably give this cheap fan a miss!
Pretty decent entry level fan, does the job, my partner found it a little too noisy to sleep with but I was fine because I wear foam earplugs. Kept us cool in the summer
It doesn’t have any way of tilting it up or down so we had to balance it on some books in order to get it to point it in the right direction. The side to side span is quite wide – nearly 180 degrees – so it’s good if you want to cover a large area but less good if you want it to cover a smaller area
The fan was easy to assemble, makes very little noise and is super convenient for a medium/small room. The only downside is that despite the rotating function it will take long to cool a bigger room with more people.
After years of clip on and standing pedestal fans, i brought this in the hopes of helping avoid the heat from the mini heatwave that dropped on the UK between 18-19 July 2022, 37’c on the 18th and 38’c on the 19th.
Although i didn’t use it first, i gave it over to my elderly relative to use because he needed it a lot more than i did. After this i got the tower fan back later on the 18th and again on the 19th to use and the difference between the fans i have and this tower fan is significant. it is a little bit more quieter that the pedestal fan, it is stronger to about a meter out as well. Keep in mind this is a small tower fan, you will need to put it on something to get the most out of it.
While it is a little stronger than a regular pedestal fan, the effect of cooling the room over a duration is non-existent even with the oscillation active, so in that regard it’s the same as a regular pedestal fan with the ability to oscillate. I haven’t tried the timer and don’t see any reason to either, i just switched it to on and pushed the buttons and there you have it.
The tower fan was very easy to setup, i didn’t even need the instructions it was so simple to setup. just be aware there is a groove in the base for the cable but otherwise that’s the only real difficulty, if you can call it as such.
Easy to put together, looks nice, long cable, it turns across the room. I wouldn’t say there is any difference between setting 1,2,3 they just get louder but the 1 setting is good enough for me
My sister introduced me to this fan as she know that choosing the correct fan meals alot to me. So far all seems to be working well. The fan is very cool where I have not needing to put it on level 3 and hardly ever use level 2. Great buy
Simple to put together. No tools needed, just 2 plates that slot perfectly together then screwed on to the bottom of the tower by hand, big plastic grip screw.
Only thing is be careful taking it out the box, take it out from the bottom as the plug is tucked in a protective card section so pulling it from the top could put pressure on the plug. From the bottom it slides out nicely, 2 plates are in midway and the screw in the bottom is already attached so simply unscrew (no effort needed), slot the plate on with the indent matching the cable position and screw the nut on. No metal screws, no screwdriver needed. Comes with clear instructions too but you’ll see how straight forward the dial/buttons are, to turn the fan use the switch at the back top of the tower once turned on.
I don’t get much motion with it, and it has a light hum as you’d expect, but it’s a peaceful hum imo. The 1st setting is perfect, but it has 3 fan settings and a motion setting. And a clock type dial on top for the timer. Very simple and clearly shown on the fan. Bought a few for family and friends looking for a reliable one, no issues so far. Very happy with it. Life saver with all the weather spikes.
I really like this tower-style oscillating fan. It’s a sleek and classy design, turns beautifully, it’s not too loud (obviously it’s not silent but it won’t mean you have to shout to anyone else in the room in normal conversation), and the timer function means you can’t forget about it and leave it on for hours on end, running up your electric bill while you’re out of the house.
The timer means the power will keep going for a maximum of two hours and although I can imagine this would be irritating if you were taking the fan to bed for the night, it’s still a plus for me.
No led lights which make it great for sleeping in the dark. No annoying beeping noises either when adjusting which is great. If you overtighten the base then when it oscillates it keeps making an annoying noise each movement. Solve this by loosening it on the underside. A little bit on the loud side but the noise helps me sleep so all in all works well, tiny bit loud, little but fiddly to make sure there’s no noise when oscillating.
This fan is extremely powerful, so far i’ve only had it on setting 1 and it makes the bedroom extremely cool, I can only imagine that setting 2 is to keep ice cubes melting and setting 3 is for you to replicate sticking your head out of the window of a moving car.
It oscillates about 180 degrees which is usual for this type of fan.
The timer is excellent, just a simple dial timer that you turn for however long you would like (like an old microwave) (as pictured) and you switch the oscillation on by a switch on the back. The fan is black which is nice and sleek, I much prefer it to white as it yellows with age.
It’s not as loud as I expected from these comments.
The fan works very well and I recommend , I have both ansio for living room which is my number one but more expensive and this one in my doughter bed room ,I read in reviews a common mistake when people complained about clicking noise that happens if you rotate the timer by mistake and keep making this notice untill the time lapse and you can’t stop it the way to use is is keep the wheel at on and press one of the three buttons 1 or 2 or 3 and press the button off to stop never rotate the wheel or you get that irriating noise
