This was bought for repairing glasses but has lots of other useful bits.
The case is good quality and the bit holders pop up for easy access. The bit driver appears to be really well made ( turned aluminium with a turned spinner) , there is also an adapter to fit into a 1/4 bit driver.
I can’t yet comment on durability of all the bits, but they all look well made.
Bought this to open up an iPhone 6Plus for battery replacement and also a Mid-2015 MBP for battery and SSD replacement and it handled both jobs well. Haven’t really used long enough to say how sturdy the tips are but so far no damage/stripping.
I have mine hanging up in a cupboard but it is great for fixing random things like kettles/glasses/small electronics (not phones though I don’t think) etc and a good handle thing to have at hand. Especially with the fully flexible attachment and the extension and the massively diverse range of end’s. 100% recommend
I’ve owned several screwdriver sets as part of my IT toolkit. This selection covers almost all the bases and has earned a place in my portable kit for working both at home and for customers.
Really good quality product and value for money, the case is really clever and holds all of the bits securely. Very handy to have for all those small electrical fixes.
These precision tools are great. Easy to hold and magnetic. They’re just ideal for small precision work. The price point is on the higher side for such tools but definitely worth the money I paid for them. The only thing that may have helped more was a small light on them but maybe that’s my age and not the product!
A very comprehensive tool kit for all of the smaller tasks that do crop up. I’ve used this to carry out repairs to spectacles and to remove a hard drive from an old laptop before scrapping the actual machine. There are a multitude of attachments which will fit loads of securing heads and there are a number of handy attachments to compliment them.
I’ve only used this a couple of times so far but I’m sure that this set will be brought out every now and then, happy to recommend this.
I use heads like those supplied infrequently, but they are the type of tool that when you need one, nothing else will do. I see this item as a tool which you purchase once for those very tricky, intricate jobs.
So what do you get?
+. A hard plastic case which holds the screwdriver bits.
+. There is a huge range of magnetic bits available as well as sockets for small nut/bolt. The bits are accessed via a really neat, spring loaded tray which is operated via a switch on the side of the case to make them op up. It really is useful to allow you to access the appropriate bits.
+. Three holders for the bits, a standard manual screwdriver; a flexible extension; a connector for an electric drill (not sure why anyone would want this for driving such precision tools…..)
Overall, just one of the items that most of us will rarely use except for tightening up things like glasses frames, however, if you come across that difficult screw/hex/bolt this kit is more than likely to have the solution to help you.
A very comprehensive tech screw driver set.
The rotating end cap on the screwdriver handle makes screwing / unscrewing very easy.
The quality seems to be great, but time will tell how long the bits stay sharp.
If you’re working on older user serviceable tech like laptops/ cameras etc, this is a must have.
It feels more premium than my existing micro tool kit and the flexible extension looks great, I just need a reason to use it now. The pop-up button to access the bits is nice touch too.
