I bought this to replace an instax mini 40 ahead of a short city trip, and shot about a dozen packs of film through it over the weekend. Overall I’m very happy with the results (especially the nighttime bulb mode long exposures), but I just wish it saved settings between uses; Having to mash the mode button a bunch of times to switch into landscape mode every time I turned on the camera became a bit of a drag!
Image quality is fine. Reviewing the weekend’s 120 photos around 10% were improperly exposed, though I imagine more time with the camera would increase the hit rate?
Love this camera! It fits in my rucksack and I take it out and about to capture wildlife pics, being with friends or whatever takes my fancy! Lovely range of camera settings that are easy to use and the quality of the image is amazing! Well worth my money and would choose this over my mobile camera anytime!
Lovely retro looking plastic camera so needs a case . Read instructions carefully there is some detailed stuff on this camera online. Has two shutter buttons and one doubles up as a mirror for selfies.
Has various modes which make it quite versatile, lighten darken, landscape , close up and party and kids modes for moving objects are handy.
Great credit card sized shots. ( Fill the viewfinder ,which is a bit small, you get used to it) acceptable for a fun camera and instant!
At about 9 the film seems expensive. I use 120 film (lugging a twin lens reflex around is not easy), purchase and film developing are not cheap for enprints and you have to wait ! So I think 9 for 10 shots is not too bad for fuss free on the spot development with small prints.
There are cheaper models too !
Fun to use instant camera. What’s not to like!
This camera was purchased to replace one that arrived damaged, from another supplier. I can’t comment on the print quality, at the moment, as I am still checking the settings. Unfortunately, the original camera was black and this one I brown, so the black case I had, doesn’t really go. I did not have a choice of colour for this one. However, this is purely cosmetic, so not a problem.
Camera itself is a very good introduction to the medium. There are lots of youtube videos about how to get the best out of the machine. Having an actual picture to place up on a wall, or hand to a friend is novel and quite a beautiful thing.
I spent quite some time looking at which Polaroid camera to buy and decided on this one as it is more than just a point and shoot camera. It’s easy to work and offers some great extra options such as timer, double exposure, macro etc. Seller was helpful with questions and delivered fast even though I was happy to wait with it not being an essential item! Would recommend
Super beautiful camera, already took a photo with it and it’s such beautiful quality! i had a look at the reviews before i bought it and mine DID arrive with an adaptor for the charger, as that was the biggest complaint from reviewers. but, as written in reviews, didn’t come with a pack of film so i bought one separate to arrive with the camera.
overall i am so, so happy with it and cannot wait to use it!
The metering seems good, the options are easy to navigate and the camera is light. Plastic body but still feels sturdy which is nice.
if I am being honest i would have preferred an instant camera that uses the old format instant film but that film is wildly expensive! So I am stuck with this…. and this is not a bad thing to be stuck with.
i also looked as the Polaroid Zink, not for me I don’t think…. there are lots of reviews about it and I just didn’t like the pseudo analogue concept.
finally the film is fairly dear, there are other sites that offer it cheaper than this one though. Just google instant film uk or something to that effect.
Bought as one of my daughter’s 18th birthday gifts. She loves it and so do all her friends. It has a cool retro look, the photos are credit card sized and she has them all around her bedroom.
This camera is the best Instax camera out there currently. It features many useful features that were not present in the older models, such as double exposure and the ability to shut down flash. It also comes with a rechargeable battery instead of non rechargeable one. For someone who wants to get in to instant photography but does not want a toy but a real working tool, this is the one to buy. Fully recommed this to everyone interested in instax.
Very pleased with the camera well made looks are good not cheap looking great retro style excellent instant camera that takes great pictures too great features and battery life as well.

Still get use to use this non-digital cam, the process is interesting as it dose need some skills to take a perfect photo. If you do not have an instant camera and also have a thing with the good old days. Get a mini 90 ! It will light up your life ~
Awesome camera, a whole load of fun and some great modes to play with. One watchout is the flash tends to overpower at short distances, but you can adjust in-camera to anticipate.
