Such a great purchase. The flooring lovely. Really good quality. Great price. Easy to install. And looks great!! I highly recommend this. I purchased 2 boxes to make the configuration in my gym.
I wanted these as a quick and easy floor covering for my garage where my washing machine is. I got two packs. They are easy to fit together. I needed to cut a few to fit around the step, this was easy to do. They are comfortable and easy to clean.
I have this under my wine barrel that’s been converted to an indoor mini pond. I originally thought it would cut through the material at some point, due to all the weight of the wine barrel on the edge as it’s not flat bottom. But it has not in months. I have extra around the barrel. When I step on it there is a noticeable temperature difference from the floor and this product. The floor is cold and you don’t feel the cold as much. I have a rug which doesn’t do near as much of a temperature difference as this does. So I’m going to order some more and put it under my rug to not feel the cold when I put my feet on it. Originally just wanted a barrier for the wine barrel and the floor, but after stepping on it and noticing the temp difference, I’m definitely going to use it for that new purpose. A note that I find rather important: one side is completely smooth while the other side has a texture to it (slightly raised pattern). You can place the texture side down and use the smooth side up, for an aquarium.
These interlock really easily and if you combine with a nonslip material underneath, they will be super secure.
The interlock is perfect so no water leaks under when cleaning.
They’re durable and continually bounce back after stepping on, and comfortable to lay on with or without a mat.
Will definitely be buying more sets soon!
Initially notified that items had been delivered but were actually delivered next day. Required as a base to sit an inflatable hot tub on that is awaited for 60th birthday.
I had initially placed a negative review about this item (2 packs) as it was thought items had not actually been delivered. I have now found out that my 33 year old son called by house and hid items to avoid spoiling impending birthday surprise but failed to tell me he had done this.!!

I first bought this product in 2020 when I made a ‘lock-down’ home gym. Having recently moved to a new house, I needed some more of the flooring for the larger room. The floor is very hard-wearing and is easily customisable. Works really well to protect my wooden floor from the weights etc. and is easily added to.
Bit expensive but worth it, I ended up having to buy two packs for a relatively small area. I’m glad money goes to planting trees with each purchase apparently.
Mats have good cushion, don’t compress as much as cheaper mats, easy assembly, clips together securely and so far seems to not slip even on painted concrete. I’m glad of the warmth it’s providing my fee
This great product looked so versatile i decided to buy some without really knowing what i would use it for. Got lots of dogs so maybe they might appreciate a softer surface than the floor. They have beds but dont always choose them for sleep. Maybe i will use them in the chicken house for winter….who knows? Thanks guys.
These are exactly what I needed for an indoor turbo-trainer area (to stop me sweating all over the floor). They went together really easily and the configuration means you can fit them in an ideal space. However after a couple of months I’ve notice the edge strips curling up a little and needing pushing back down. It’s not particularly sturdy!
This was my second pack, I used these as insulation flooring under our inflatable got tub, I wanted to protect the base of the tub from the timber floor, provide additional comfort to the base, insulation and comfort when you step out. These were cut to shape and worked and looked great.
It is worth checking the size off these, on my first pack I had in my mind that they were the same size as the standard play mats but they are more large tile size. My fault not theirs.
The assembly is easy except for the edges which takes time matching the right pieces – like a jigsaw. The foam is quite thin so if outside be aware that it could blow away in the wind. Too soon to know if it will stand up to being outside. Doesn’t take stuff dropped on it too well, it’s easy to get dents or digs in the fabric. That said, it does look good but it is quite expensive.
I really cannot fault any aspect of these mats. Light as a feather, easy to lay/assemble, no nasty toxic odour and no problem to clean. Added to this was the superb service/speedy delivery.
I cannot comment on the mats’ durability as I’ve only had them down for 1 day and am yet to workout on them (purchased for creating my own home gym – to protect the floor and weights if anything is accidentally dropped) but am confident they will last a good amount of time and then, if needed, I will be happy to purchase more to replace. Actually this os another benefit – if one or several mats were to need replacing the clever jigsaw design will allow me to do this.
However, chairs, exercise equipment with smaller feet/legs and other things of a high weight with a low surface area leave permanent dents in these mats that cannot be removed.
I bought these primarily as sound insulation for the floor, and for that, they work great, but I would not advise leaving anything small and heavy on them for much longer than ten or twenty minutes.
To be honest, it does what it says on the tin. Must admit I thought they were going to be WAY bigger. They are actually pretty small. We have put some on our “gym” floor (our unused dining room) and a month after buying and 12 weeks post baby, it is yet to be used. Might just stay chunky but funky. Who knows.
It’s easy to use however it needs a few more pieces to make it bigger as it’s still not large enough when jumping about doing aerobics on it. It’s ok in terms of comfort but again could be a little more padded. I think over the course of about a year I suspect the interlocking grooves will end up breaking with the force of jumping around on it, however this is an assumption as I’ve only had the item a few weeks. I’m a bit surprised by the fact that with trainers on the mat seems slippery and does not offer a lot of grip.
Maybe something to consider for the manufacturer is to offer tiles without edges and let the educated consumer determine exactly what is needed to avoid unnecessary waste. I realize this may not be economically feasible but at least its something to consider. Cheers-
If you put a lot of weight on them the teeth edges will bulge a bit. Not really a problem
The mats themselves are incredibly easy to install, they lock together nice and snug. Each come with two edges you can clip on to make the edges smooth, once you have you overall area covered. I personally trimmed mine to the shape of the van using both a Stanley knife and some big scissors, which was pretty easy to cut too.
Very happy with these, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
