Big enough for 3 adults relaxing, plus a couple of lil kids to play. If just the kids I’d say no more than 4 but down to personal preference. Happy with product so far.
Just be aware that from intex : “Unfortunately INTEX do not manufacture a pool cover for this size pool.” So the frequently bought together pool cover option will not fit. But with that said I’m loving the pool!!
It’s our 3rd year with this pool and it is going strong! My children have jumped on the seat and hung off the sides and it’s been great. It’s quick to inflate with our air pump, emptying can be time consuming but at least it’s not so big, perfect size for us. I love the seat so I can dip my legs in without getting in completely. I’d recommend this pool!
We loved it when we received it. It was simply amazing. Big, had a comfortable seat and drink holders. Unfortunately, next morning we found top ring deflated which was disappointing.
Great sized item and easy to inflate! But the drainage hole is at the base of the pool and the water wouldn’t drain from the pool unless I lifted it up and it took forever! It’s also hard to clean!
Love this pool one of the best impulse buys ever. It is a lot bigger than it appears and the bench has a separate inflation so if its not needed you don’t have to blow it up. so
Love this pool, great size and find it very easy to inflate with electric pump. Agree with other reviews though about the seat valve being totally unusable once pool is filled. Also we find that even before a full day of it being inflated it starts to lose air and becomes lopsided. Drainage plug also not in best place for emptying. Definite improvements needed but great pool for the money
Great pool and stays up for days.. only reason is not 5 stars is its quite difficult to empty when sitting on even a slight slop due to position of the wee cap
Would recommend this it’s a great size we had four adults and two children in this and the seat is a great feature too.when sitting on the seat the water is wast high and sitting on the floor of the pool the water is chest high on an adult .
This is a great pool for the first couple of days and very comfortable to sit on the sofa with a drink in the cup holder.
It does lose air after that and needs reinflating daily. The cover that Amazon recommend doesn’t fit over the back of the sofa part. Otherwise great fun for 40
We bought this as the weather was due to be hot for 2 adults in the back garden, i didn’t realise it had to come from Europe so took 3 days but there you go, you will need a 240v pump or the attachments for a blow up bed type pump as the holes to pump are quite big, the seat inside has a hole inside the pool so if you want more air when filled you simply cant, expect to take 40 minutes depending on pump to fully inflate, then 60 minutes of water filling, it is quite big about 2.5mtrs round. but at the price its perfect for gardens in the summer.
I’ve been trying to get hold of this pool since last summer but it’s been out of stock or way over priced for most of that time. I finally caved and bought it at 70 but literally two days after it arrived it was up at 35!
The poll itself is great. Seems very sturdy for an inflatable and I love the seat and cup holders. Can’t wait to use this when the weather warms up! It will take a lot to fill it up so I’d recommend a cover for it. Either way definitely watch the price, 35 seems most appropriate and it does fluctuate.
We used this during the lockdown on one of the rare days England was warm enough to don a swimsuit. The second day sadly was more of a ‘chilly dip’, but happy to report pool was just as sturdy as the first day and hadn’t lost any air pressure.
Pros:
-Easy to inflate (if you have an electric pump).
-Sturdy for an inflatable.
-Accomodates two rather tall adults stretched out, more than comfortably, with spare room for small children (if you have them)
-Water comes to chest height on a ‘average adult’ whilst sat on the floor, waist level if using the built in seat.
-Built in drink holders were a nice touch.
Cons:
-The release plug for the water is on the underside of the pool – this makes it difficult to drain the pool (especially if you fill it to capacity). Hence a star deduction.
-Had to use a bucket to drain the pool initially so could lift it enough to unplug the drain.
-Inflatable therefore susceptible to sharp objects.
So glad i brought this with all the warm weather we have been having, its made me feel like im on holiday! So nice to sit and relax with a glass of something and soak up the rays, i don’t have any kids but im sure it would be really good with young kids as the adults can sit on the seat and play with them without getting too wet. I have an electric pump so doesn’t take long to blow up about 10 minutes and most of that time is on the seat and back the main wall is really quick to blow up. The back rest doesn’t seem to be that supportive when 2 people are leaning back, tends to lean back a lot and I have found that in the morning the top part of the wall is a little deflated but once pumped up again is fin for the rest of day so i have had to position in reach for the electric pump and extension cord. I have a dog who has also enjoyed the pool so there could be a slight puncture due to him although when thee was no water in it it didn’t seem to deflate as much., my garden is slanted so could be the water pleasure on one side causing it. I have been using for almost 2 months now having put it up and down about 5 separate times and the water lasts about 5 days before i need to change it (although fish out all the dead flies daily!) so i am very pleased with how its lasted and the value for money.
We absolutely love this. Cant fault it at all great value for money. Plenty of room, the seat is comfortable having lots of fun and relaxation time. You need an electric pump to inflate. We have had ours up 3 days now and still as we first filled it. I think some deflate because they are filled too firmly in the first place amd when the sun heats it up the air expands. Time to enjoy mine some more now. Have a good day.
I finally bought a paddling pool to enjoy on hot days and I’m so glad I did! Being honest, I was concerned about buying this after reading a lot of reviews on here where the main problem was deflating quickly. I also looked at reviews on Argos which were all 5* so I thought I’d take a chance and it paid off! I saw on Argos it was 50, on Amazon when I purchased, it was 38.99. It was easy for my fiance to pump up with our tent pump and he had it pumped up in approximately 10 minutes. The back rest and seat are pumped up individually. We have found it has held air really well (only deflating slightly over time, as to be expected). Comes with a repair patch in the box.
We have a family of fox cubs in our garden who throw themselves at it and jump up on it & race round it/bounce up and down daily yet it’s still standing strong!
Easy to clean out, came up better than I thought imaginable when the cover (bought separately) blew off and left it filthy inside. I just used plain water and elbow grease! I didn’t want to use washing up liquid as we were re-filing it and didn’t want the bottom any more slippery. Only place in our garden currently is under a neighbours overgrown tree on a slightly uneven ground but it sits very happily.
I really love the back rest, brilliant for someone like me with a bad back. It has two drinks holders but these can only hold bottles, not glasses. I always use plastic wine glasses outside but they are far too big for their holders.
Overall, a really brilliant item at the right price and I wouldn’t be without it. Very highly recommended.
It looked a lot bigger in the ad but thank god it was just the right size and plenty of room in it.
The walls are high enough to so it can hold a good depth of water if you wanted to.
I couldn’t blow it up even though I tried you will need a small pump pump of sorts. A neighbour got this gadget pool pump in lidl or aldi with different fittings on it and its electric you plug it into your car cigarette lighter turn on the switch and away you go it blows air into the pool and it inflated in minutes. The pool was great value I thought.
I have no complaints with the pool. The pool material wouldn’t stand up to an adult constant diving on it but with small kiddies it should be fine and you could patch it up you needed to. I would advise getting a small pool pump and you always have it and my god does it save time big time.
Had this now for a week, it’s been great, if it only lasts the summer we will have had value for money. Despite only being April the weather has been so good that the water warms up nicely. I’ve been treating the water with chlorine tablets in a small floating dispenser and keep the water clean by skimming off any grass and debris so far there’s no sign of any algae, water is staying nice and clean. Each day I take some buckets of water out and then top it up with buckets of water from the hot tap getting it to a pleasant 30 degrees c before going in for a lounge. It’s in full sun most of the day too so stays warm for ages. Cover it up at night too with loads of bubble wrap in an attempt to retain some of the heat. So far so good, very happy with purchase. Highly recommended.
Absolutely Brilliant ordered yesterday , so didn’t mind paying a 6 quid to get next Day delivery today, as it’s been so hot, I ordered it on impulse, “Might” have been the coffee in my brandy that did it lol
Anyways, it arrived by 11am, I’d also ordered a blower/ deflater for under a tenner. Also some children’s sponge playmats to go under it on the grass, that I read on a review, thank you for a Fab tip Went straight in garden, mats down, blew it up, & filled it up in under 40 Minutes ! Had the most Fabulous day in it ! It’s a perfect lounging pool, sat and layed on the seat, dead comfy to sit on ,Did the crossword Sat on floor with mats underneath, so comfortable, give a lovely spongy feel, perfect for a couple Had next doors children it, aged 5,7,&10, & me ! The sides are good and wide, drink holders hold a can Perfectly, easy to step in/out, I’m 5ft4 & water came over my bust when sat on floor, below my knee when standing. Going to put bubble wrap on the water (another tip ) it holds the heat, and a patio cover over it ,as a normal pool cover will not fit due to the back rest. I’ve also put chlorine in . Had so much fun today , if I only get the one day out of it (British weather !) it’ll be Worth it ! Highly recommended
Great inflatable pool, had my doubts with inflatable ones as we usually have a large metal framed pool, but this year fancied something smaller and easier to fill and empty. Glad we did.
This pool inflated very quickly with an electric pump. It has stayed inflated for 4 weeks without having to re-pump.
We have drained the pool twice and refilled and it’s stayed great. No problems at all.
For all the people leaving negative reviews about emptying the pool. The plug is positioned at the base and can accommodate the end of a hose pipe, so you can drain the pool directly through a hose into a drain / manhole in your garden, which is fab as you can’t do that with a large steel framed pool. These pools just disperse the water into your garden! This one is much better.
Sometimes just perseverance and common sense goes a long way!
Would definitely recommend.
Great for relaxing in – had about five adults who fit alright in it. Obviously no good for swimming but was great on hot days.
Easy to inflate (I had my own battery powered air pump) and the seat was comfortable.
Was a little more difficult to get all the water out and clean and in the end after a week or so of unregulated use the top ring had a small leak and would deflate slowly over the course of a few hours.
Probably would buy again.
This was a welcome addition to our Garden this summer and its lasted well having been in use throughout. Only criticism is that there is no space on the side for the heater of filter from the range and it really does need them as it gets dirty pretty quickly. Definitely need to add some pool chemicals to this as it will Algi up pretty quickly in summer months and without the ability to filter the water from the side the only choice is over the top and in which on the rounded sides is a bit hard to keep in place.
Because of the rear seat part a standard pool cover for the size wont stay in place although a 4 X 3 Tarp will cover it.
Would definitely suggest getting a little heater with it as it takes a long time to heat up during the british summer months. Would also recommend getting an electrical air pump as it takes a lot of inflation.
I did enjoy sitting in with the kids on warm days and for the price its pretty decent and well made.
LOVE THIS POOL! We have had many over the years and I think this is my favourite. I’ve got it on my patio so I was looking for something to use as a base under it. After much searching, I came across Chad Valley foam mats in Argos. They link together like a jigsaw and they are quite large, 4 packs of those is enough for under this pool with a bit on the corners to step out on to. Argos do an offer at the mo, 2 packs of these for 15 so they work out MUCH cheaper than the Intex or Bestway ground mats. Really can’t recommend them enough for use with this pool. They give a slightly squishy feeling under the pool, really comfortable, excellent protection and as they are foam they insulate and help to keep the heat in the pool really well. (I always fill it with warm water initially).
This pool took about 20 minutes for me to inflate with a battery powered pump. The only thing I found difficult was replacing the valves back in after filling it with air. They were quite hard to push in but got there with some force! It took me just under 2 hours to fill the pool with a hose and the tap on fully.
Its a good size, you can have it quite deep if filled to the top. I’m 5 foot 7 and it came to just over my boobs when sat on the bottom of the pool! The seat is really cool and this made an excellent step for our little maltese doggy to be able to get in and out! Its really comfortable and a good size. The cup holders are good, lined with harder plastic so they hold your drink firmly. (Tip: if you buy Nutella in the little glass jars and keep the jars and lids afterwards these fit in the cup holders excellently! Using the nutella lids stops pool water or flies getting in your drink!!!)
Also I’ve noticed in some of these reviews people say the air goes out of it once inflated or it’s gone down a bit to when they first blew it up. Its worth noting that in the mornings and evenings when it’s cooler, it will feel slightly deflated because air expands in heat. Our pool felt really soft when I came down in the morning but by midday it felt really firm again. Unless you have a hole!, This is normal. Thats why its important not to over inflate it! The air inside will expand when it gets hot!
The only other thing I will say is the height measurement for this is slightly out in the description because it includes the height of the back rest to the seat! The main pool part actually measures 48 ish cm/19 inches deep from floor to top. The diameter seems to be accurate. I can lay flat out so it is quite spacious!
All in all a brilliant pool. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed and it is lovely to relax in, especially in all this hot weather we’ve been having recently!
