Use it for my 8month old boy in a pool. My boy loves that. It has different air pockets. So, even one pocket is loose, it can still float. Its body is versatile.
Highly recommend to buy
Brought it for my lad (5 months at time) so we could go swimming, he fit nice and tight, wasn’t over tight but definitely wasn’t lose either, kept afloat the whole time we was in the pool (1 hour 30 minutes) for the price can’t complain, does take a little time to blow up but that’s to be expected, unless you use a pump
We took this on holiday to centre parcs, so we could take the little one in the big pool with us. He absolutely loved it, he was laughing and pointing around at other people so clearly felt secure, and he got to go safely in the lazy river with us, which was a treat. Still needs lots of supervision (these things can flip) but after a week of daily inflating it was still going strong and baby had some great experiences.
Good quality product but was bought for an average size 6 month old to use on holiday and was a bit too big really. Would have been fine it she was a couple of months olde
Got this for our 5 month old to go to centre parcs and it was great while he was init but being so young we used it only a couple of times so I’d say hold off if there this young
We bought this for our 12 month old, it was very useful! She adjusted well to it; infact, she preferred it over being held…so it obviously made her feel safe! Does make me question her view of me though! Pmsl
It’s good product nice and sturdy but my daughter has chunky legs and where her legs are meant to go through it’s very very tight so I’m not going to be able to use so I wouldn’t advice to buy if your baby has chunky legs
This item was purchased for a special needs child who cannot sit up and with the extra support it enabled this child to go swimming for the first time in her life. 10/10 and a great purchase.
Does the job it’s meant to.
Kept my baby comfortable and floating in the water. It meant I had a hand free if I needed to help my toddler as well.
My baby enjoyed it and likes being able to kick his legs without being fully submerged into the water.
My daughter weighs roughly 8.8kg and had just turned 8m when we used this. It was great. Easy to get up and down. A lot cheaper than others we had looked at. Have used a handful of times now with no issues and seems to be good enough quality. I would not recommend for much younger than 7-8m though. My daughter can just see over the front. Any smaller and she would be completely lost.
This product was amazing for my baby, i could really relax in the water park knowing she is safe and sound and wont slip into the water. I would recommend.
Bought this for my daughter, she was 7 months old at the time. It worked fine and she loved the water and was very safe. She is still small for her age so this wasn’t as supportive for her but it wasn’t a issue because I helped her. Overall great though
Used for our first time in the pool with 8 month old baby. Our baby is in the 97th percentile so was worried he’d be too tall or big for this but he fit perfectly with room to spare. Was easy to blow up and great to use. Would 100% recommend
I bought this for my niece who was almost 10 months old at the time. we used it in our local public baby swimming pool and the adult pool. she fit very nicely in it and it kept her afloat more than enough that we didnt even have to hold it while she was in it. she is over a year old now and im sure she and her mum still use it together.
I bought this ring for my 4 month old son and it was a huge help when we were out at the beach. He got to enjoy the waves with us in full confidence and security. It made his first experience in the water very safe and he was so relaxed while on it that he fell asleep while in it.
Definitely agree with other comments, the seat is very deep. My larger than average 7 month old (who fits comfortably in ages 9-12month clothes) just about managed it. Not for any age younger than 6 months I would say but would probably suit closer to a year. Other than that it was very good, inflated easily and floated nicely. Didn’t need to top up for the 8 days we were away would recommend!
I bought this float for my 4 month old for their first time swimming. It was the perfect size and will fit for several more months so is a good buy. She enjoyed being in it, it floated easily and I was easily able to swim while holding on to the float while she was in it.
We didn’t use a pump to inflate, and found that while it went up easily, the inlets didn’t have as valve and so as soon as you stopped blowing it deflated. It was difficult to get the inlets closed before it deflated.
got this for holidays for a 7 month old. like most have mentioned, baby sits pretty low in it and its just a tad too low for comfort. so we bought some inflatable arm bands and use one as a booster seat and it works really well. so in the end were very happy with it.. i can actually go for a swim with the baby in it and just push her along with my chin. 🙂
Really good strong and very well made product, the only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the seat is really deep which made it so my baby was quite low down so we had to hold him up to make sure the water wasn’t above his neck – he’s not a smal baby either. However would purchase again if needed.
I ordered this for my 5 month old son thinking the float was from 3 months onwards. When we tried the float it did the job however it was a little on the big side so when I put my son in the float he kind of sunk into it but not enough so that the water became an issue or we were worried he would drown hence the 4 stars. In one respect at least we know that the float will more than likely last awhile and we will get a lot of use from it. The main thing is my son enjoyed swimming and wasn’t phased at all.
Took our baby abroad and swimming for the first time. Baby definitely preferred this to the arms band floats. He was very settled and comfortable in this. Only concern was the seat, i felt he was sitting too deep and his arms strained a little from the shoulders, wouldn’t recommend for long periods. Product can be made more user friendly if they allow seat size changes for individual babies. Otherwise a very good product for babies over 6 months who perhaps fit better in the seat. Was lovely seeing him kicking and experiencing water in the float.
I bought this for my little man for his weekly swim sessions and for our holidays!! He is not a big chap even at six months so i do have to support him ever so slightly but he will grow and the need for this will reduce. He loves it. He leans himself forward and kicks his little feet and literally squeals with delight!!!
We recently took it to Cyprus and it helped us to safely support our little dude with his first time in the sea and again he had a great time!! It stopped any waves splashing him in his face and again he had a whale of a time kicking about in the water!!
Definately worth a go just for that little bit of added safety!!
Have a 6 month old, going on our first holiday needed some kind of baby floatations device. This seemed the best by diagram and going by review. Has 4 chambers to blow up. Once inflated its not too big that you have to keep letting it down. Has a good deep seat part that hangs lower than the ring. The sea was rather cool so didn’t really get our money’s worth however worth buying a good wetsuit or insulation wrap as quite a lot of your babies body could be in the water.
