Given four stars as just one jar so far unable to open. This simple idea is wonderful for weak grip people, and love the magnet to place this on the front of my fridge very convenient.
I bought this set for my Mum, as the arthritis in her hands means she can no longer undo fizzy drink bottles. Most other gadgets designed to help open jars and bottles requires you to be able to grip and turn, but my mum can’t manage to grip anything as her fingers are swollen and misshapen now. This little gadget is much better as,once you slide the triangle up as far as it will go on the lid, you can use your arm to push it round rather than your hands. The little silicone disc is brilliant if used like a coaster to stop the bottle or jar from moving as you undo the lid. Its a very simple thing, but has made mum’s life so much easier and is much better for her than the more pricey gadgets which she just wouldn’t be able to use. You can open large jars, down to tiny bottle lids with this one item so a brilliant value for money item!
