Hab’s fr eine 83 jhrige gekauft. Da sie jetzt die Flaschen und Glser mit gestreckten Arm…ohne hinzuschauen ffnen muss, habe ich das Problem nicht gelst. Ansonsten ist es o.k.
I got this as my other opener helper didn’t work for me after I tore my rotator cuff. I wasn’t able to get this attached to under the counter but if I hold it in the bad arm and twist with the good hand it’s worked easily every time.
This works exactly as I wanted it to. It remains to be seen however, whether the screws will hold for any length of time. They aren’t very big but anyone I know who has this product recommends it so I’m hopeful mine will last for a long time.
I love this little guy lots. The older I get the harder it is to open bottles. I liked it so much I got a second one for our camper!!
Sure makes life a bit easier! I actually purchased 2 of these on separate occasions. The first was purchased as a gift for a friend and upon hearing how well they liked it, I bought one for myself. The opener does help a lot with opening stubborn lids on jars.
As far as build quality, it seems sturrdy enough and I’ve had no problems putting quite a bit of pressure on the opener without any apparent problems. Lids just fly off! Buy one already!
It does what is intended to do: open jars. Only complaint is that metal “teeth” easily scratch the jar lids, but not a deal breaker since the jars are always opened.
My adult kids love using this jar opener at my house so I ordered one for my son and his wife. It is amazing it is very sturdy and when you really need it, it comes in very handy. Highly recommend getting this for those who have arthritis in their hands or anyone who struggles to open a jar like I do
My dad got this for me a few years ago. Absolutely love it. It is SO handy for those stubborn things that just wouldn’t open. My niece was excited she opened a nail polish she hadn’t been able to in months. It’s also fun because it’s so easy. I have actually bought this for a bunch of friends and they all rave about how often they use it as well. Get it!! Super easy to mount under your cabinet too.
As I only have the use of 1 hand at the moment this is a godsend. My son attached it to the unit before he went away leaving me to open jars and some bottles with ease. Definitely recommend
My hands aren’t as strong as they used to be so this has helped immensely. I’ve tried other openers and they usually work, sort of, but they require more complicated actions, such as wrapping the jar in rubber straps, installing batteries, using hands to tighten a handle, etc. This is, by far, the easiest and most effective jar/bottle opener I’ve tried. You simply put the top in the opener and turn, using minimal force. I highly recommend it.
What a great item! It is frequently difficult for me to open jars because of arthritis, this product helps me to open the jars easily and painlessly. Much easier to use than the handheld jar openers. It’s safer than the handheld jar openers because the jars don’t skid on the counter when trying to open them. You will need a screwdriver for the required assembly.
My husband attached this under our cabinets and it works great. You can hardly see it and it makes opening jars easier. Sometimes, depending on jar, you have to use 2 hands to grip it in the jar openers teeth, but it works really well. Haven’t had a problem and we have had it for about 2 months already. No more bumping jars on the counter to open or hollering for help. Lol
