Super sharp so watch your fingers. Easy to use and makes finely chopping herbs etc very easy. I have marked it down one star as the sheaf is just thin clear plastic that does not really stay in place. This is a quality item so a leather or thick plastic guard would just finish things off. Add a few ‘s to the price and provide a good sheaf and it would be perfect.
Didn’t realise this is double bladed, as it’s not obvious from the pictures (I see it now, but you have to be looking for it, the description doesn’t make this clear). It works, but is very sharp and frightening to clean. I’d have preferred a single blade – easier for chopping herbs, which is the main thing I wanted it for, and would be easier to clear too.
I found I was chasing the food around the chopping board and was continuously scraping off part chopped food from the blades. I guess there is a knack to using this tool.
