Only used to make a feature wall but the paint is very good quality. It covers really well and doesn’t look patchy at all like some brands do. Would recommended.
Good value for how much you get. I was able to paint the wall in two coats (over a white basecoat) which only took a couple of hours.
I’ve also used it to paint an MDF gaming board. Again, very quick and easy to apply and only took two coats (even without a basecoat).
Lovely tub of paint. We chose the waterfall blue silk 2.5L one. The first coat dried really quickly after that the second coat was put on. Cannot fault the product.
Just staring painting with this color, very rich shade I’m no interior designer by any means, I think you like it or not like it really, all i can say is choose correct carpet flooring, furniture e.t.c but i like it something different from whites , magnolias get a bit boring.
Dulux was my goto paint for emulsion.
However I was not happy with its colour, so what harm is there to tray another brand.
Wow, is my first reaction. The white is super white, almost with a hint of blue in it, whereas the dulux was a more creamy white, or just plain white. Painting the second coat over dulux showed just how much the dulux was off white.
Well I prefer johnstones white, cant comment on anything else.
You can see in the photo of the contrast of the colour next to the white wall. I created a border around the bed and also around the door. The paint was a beautiful colour warm and went on really easy. Two coats only needed and a huge amount to spare as the tin holds a lot of paint.
I am extremely happy with this paint , I ordered 2 tins and painted my hall, stairs and landing, my lounge , bathroom and toilet with enough left over for any future touch ups. The coverage was exceptional and the aint has a lovely sheen . I will be ordering again in a different colour for my bedrooms in the new year .
Good paint, as it has a good consistency and covers well. I only used it on the ceiling so wouldn’t know how coverage would be on wall if there was previously a colour to cover. The only thing I was not happy about is some leakage on the lid. Luckily, there was a plastic sleeve on it.
Was struggling to get this paint shade in shops – finally managed to find it in stock on Amazon which was actually cheaper than the shop and delivered straight to my doo
When I first started with it I was concerned that it would not cover well, however, two coats covered nicely and there was some left over at the end. Good value and would buy this brand again.
Normal paint, quite a lot thinner than other well known and store own brands. Doesn’t mask too well though.
And to those complaining about having to paint more than 1 coat, learn to paint!
The colour is beautiful and covers so well we decided to do the daughters whole flat in it and the finish makes the walls look like they’ve all been plastered
This went on very thin with hardly any coverage on the first coat. It also seemed more purple than pink. I thought I’d need 3 coats minimum! Second coat was like magic. It covered solidly, even thought the first coat was so patchy and sparse. It didn’t need another coat and I was amazed. It’s a beautiful pink colour; a gorgeous dusky pink, not a baby pink, which I didn’t want. I teamed it with a grey feature wall for my 2 yr old graddaughter’s bedroom and it looks amazing. Quite thick so not loads of splatter when rollering. Definitely a top quality paint, much better coverage (after the 1st coat) than the leading, more expensive brand.
It’s such a cute shade of pink!!!
Full coverage, quick drying
Came taped up and plastic wrapped so no spills
I’m so happy
(Its warmer in person but my camera is silly :/)
Very expensive but maybe all paint is nowadays. Covered well and was easy to apply. I painted a previously painted wall and was able to get the quoted 12M2 from the tin so no complaints. Very happy with the colour which was as expected.
If you dare? It’s so rich and dark makes your cutting in look so professional ,wood work looks so white and with the right wall art … amazing!! ,I know it’s too soon but can’t wait to see what it looks like with my Christmas tree up
Great paint. I used a 2.5l tin and that did a fairly big wall at two coats. It definitely requires a second coat as it looks quite watery with just the one, but the good thing is it dries really quickly, so by the time I walked to the supermarket and back I was able to go over it again. Little to no smell from it either.
Well this would have been a 5* rating but unfortunately it was let down by UPS delivery company as when I opened the box (good quality box and very sturdy) the paint was all over the inside of the box as it had either been dropped or thrown around in the van. After contacting the company through Amazon messages and providing photos they offered me and full refund or a new pot of paint, being honest I said to them I had managed to clean it up and use it for what I wanted to, they then just said thanks and that was that, an offer of something would have been nice since I lost quite a bit of paint and the lid doesn’t fit back on properly either so what is left will go off before I get around to using the rest of the paint, so much for being honest
The paint itself is good, good coverage and easy to clean brushes/rollers with warm water.
