Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought for 5 year old daughters birthday after I saw her playing with one in a John Lewis store. She absolutely loves it! Really well made toy with a good movement and roar. I would have loved one of these as a kid! Also has a code you can scan for a separate game you download on your phone, nice little extra.

This is such a fab dinosaur. My little boy absolutely loves it. It looks great is very sturdy and has so many good features where it moves its whole body as well and can make it like bite things. Really great toy

My nephew absolutely loves this toy, he was a bit scared at first but this was because I thought it would be funny to surprise him with and give him a little scare, he found it funny in the end lol. Anyway, he gets a kick out of it now, especially the thrashing function and really enjoys playing with it. FYI, if the head seems loose, this is by design, it so that it can flop around when the thrashing function is activated.

My nephew was obsessed with this as soon as he saw it! He’s 4 years old and really into his dinosaurs. Not only was he impressed though, our whole family was quite taken with it. It’s got reasonable volume to it, and the movement of the dinosaur is very animated. It looks pretty good, so it’s no hassle to have it on display when it’s not being played with.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone with young ones keen on dinosaurs. A very cool gift!

My nephew is obsessed with Jurassic world and this was a birthday present for him. He absolutely loved it. The details are very vivid and qualitative, it looks so similar to the one from the movie. Lime an exact replica. It comes with batteries already included which is amazing, as he was able to play with it straightaway. It roars and moves his head and bites. It has sharp teeth but not dangerous for children qs they’re made of soft plastic.

    A very realistic dinosaur toy!
This dinosaur is indeed gigantic and scary too.
The attention to detail especially on the head like the eyes ,teeth etc is impressive .
It makes very loud different scary sounds.
Not only the appearance but also the body movements and especially the head shaking when he attacks makes this toy a very scary realistic one.
I must admit the first time I tried it I got a bit scared my self.
The dinosaur comes with a card which can be scanned with the help of your mobile camera and then pair onto the App which you can download.
This way you can see the Dino onto your phone in the actual background (game)
It comes nicely packaged so it can definitely be gifted .
It would be a great addition to anyone wholistic Jurassic world fan!
    Good value for the price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gigantic and a scary!

This dinosaur toy is larger than I expected but my nephew absolutely loves playing with it and it’s never far away from him now. It is also a little louder than I expected so all adds to the fun!

    Recommended.

The “Jurassic World Dominion Strike ‘N Roar Giganotosaurus Dinosaur Action Figure” is a large toy dinosaur figure that’s based on the colossal Giganotosaurus that appears in the Jurassic World Dominion (2022) film.

First off — the dinosaur figure is huge! From the tip of its tail to the end of its nose, the dinosaur figure measures 21.5″ (55cm). It’s also really quite detailed, along with the paint on the figure being incredibly well done.

The dinosaur has two sound and motion options, which are activated by two separate buttons (one on the underside and one on the top. These are great and provide an impressive “Roar” as well as a shake of the head from side-to-side.

The legs are posable to the degree that where the legs meet the body, they are moveable there. Similarly, with the dino’s arms.

The overall presentation of the action figure is excellent — even down to the packaging. The manufacturers have clearly worked hard to ensure they’re delivering a quality product, which kids will love playing with.

My son absolutely loves the action figure and spends ages playing with it alongside his other action figures. I think the size of the toy alone is a big attraction for him. And it certainly does look very impressive, towering over his other action figures.

My nephew loves this dinosaur, it’s huge at nearly 2-foot long.
It’s from the latest franchise on Jurassic Park which he really enjoyed so that’s a bonus.
It roars and it huge jaws open when a button is pressed, it sounds pretty realistic.
There’s also a QR code on a pull out card located on it’s tail. That gives access to an app where further games, information/facts and even a VR section.

The dinosaur looks very realistic and the detailing is fantastic. I’m really impressed with the quality of this and would definitely recommend.

This is an epic dinosaur and great for little ones imaginative play. My nephew loves to rescue his other toys before they fall victim to this gigantic loud roaring dinosaur and it’s big teeth!!!

It’s exceptionally well made and is rather scary, as dinosaurs should be. It moves in a frightening way that looks pretty realistic compared to how i imagine dinosaurs to have moved. The roar is so loud and the sound quality fabulous if comparing to the sounds made in the movie.

This would be an ideal main present to a child who loves dinosaurs and would also make a pretty neat gift for adult fans of the movie too. This is an epic looking and performing dinosaur that’s made really well. My nephew’s new favourite toy!

Had a bit of trouble getting this going. At first, the toy looked broken whilst in the box as the neck was sort of flopping down. We tried it before u boxing it properly and kind of panicked

However, once removed from the packaging and once getting the batteries going, we realised that the way the meck was moving was completely normal.
The toy itself is massive and really well made and it can be paired up with an app which is pretty cool and adds extra things to do with it.
The movement of the dinosaur are fantastic and very realistic and ‘scary’, kind of like what you’d expect to see on the Jurassic Park films.

This is a lot of fun and would be a fantastic toy for children who like dinosaurs and want something very interactive to play with.

My dino loving nephew loves this toy which is based on the Giganotosaurus in new Jurassic word film. The quality to detail is evident in every aspect from design (it looks as it does in the film) quality of paint (its meant to be mottled!), ease of use, sound effects, and motions of the toy when activated. The attention to detail even extends to the box, which is in an official Jurassic park style complete with logo and warning chevrons.

The toy works in that by pushing its tail it makes a noise and its head turns and mouth opens as if to attack you. Its well made, really responsive and very robust too – it will certainly last some tough playtimes. The dino also comes with preinstalled batteries, so you can get playing straight of the box and as a dna code which when scanned in to the accompanying app will give you extra features.

Overall this is a superb toy and will please any fan of Jurassic world / park. I would highly recommend it!

This whopping dino has what estate agents call ‘kerb appeal’. Watch the eyes of the child widen into saucers when unwrapping this beauty. The scale of it is amazing and the packaging is really well done to amplify the impact.

The roar is impressive too and, yes, its going to get on your bits after a while, but what price happiness, eh?

Now, there is a downside – it does have somewhat limited playability, but I don’t think that matters too much, because when not in use it is going to be a terrific shelf ornament in your child’s room. and it will then get played with every couple of months. So its a toy and piece of child’s room decoration, and heartily recommended.

This interactive dinosaur is great fun and certainly had my dog confused with its snapping mouth and head movement. It’s a bit limited but good fun to play with.
    Highly recommend

I think my husband enjoyed playing with this dinosaur more than my son! What a fun toy this is. With just a press of the button, this dino will chomp, roar and swing his head. He is very life like and will certainly be a big hit for any dinosaur lover.

It comes with the batteries required and there is even a DNA code on the dinosaur that can be scanned for some extra features on an app.

This toy is made very well, it is sturdy and doesn’t look like it would break easily at all, so ideal for those little ones who can be a bit rough with their toys! It isn’t too heavy and it’s easy to move around and press the button to set the Dino into action!

As this is a good quality toy I’d say it is worth the price listed, it is the kind of price I’d expect from a branded toy like Jurassic World.

I love how this toy is more than just a figure and it does more than just roar, definitely hours of fun to be had with it!

Fantastic present idea for a birthday or Christmas!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fab toy for Dino fans!

As soon as I received this, my other half couldn’t wait to get his hands on it. It’s going into the movie room anyway so we are using it as a display model. It came in a big box which shows exactly what it is on it, so if you are buying this as a present for someone, keep that in mind.

The dinosaur is great, when you press the tail, the mouth opens and the head goes from side to side. It’s very interactive. It is very tactile, lots of bumps and scales.

I would say as a child’s toy, it is very expensive, but as a display model it’s not a bad price.

From the amazon product page and the picture itself, I wasn’t sure which dinosaur this was. I am however reliably informed by my resident paleontologist (age 8) that this is a Gigantosaurus (or GiganOtosaurus as it seems to be pronounced sometimes?) and as seen in Jurassic World: Dominion.
This dinosaur has several roaring and / or moving functions. It can almost grip light but bulky items in its mouth.
The expert here is disappointed however that the QR code (unusually this one has a little pop out bit on its body, as opposed to under one foot) doesn’t seem to be compatible with the app. Cue much grumbling here!

Personally I do feel like 47 is a lot to pay for one toy – especially when there are so many variations with the different dinosaur species – but the Expert is absolutely thrilled.

This is a dinosaur that features in the new Jurassic Park franchise, and apart from that selling point the other one is it’s size – It’s nearly two foot long and about the biggest dinosaur toy I’ve ever seen. It’s very detailed and there is some limited interactivity, -You push a button and the dino will open it’s jaws, grab a victim and let out a convincing roar – and there’s a little added feature where you pull out a little section of it’s tail which has a QR code on it which gives you access to an app which has facts, games, and a VR feature.

Even with this bonus, I don’t think this toy has an enormous amount of play value, but it is itself enormous, and I think that’s really what you are paying for here.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOne of the latest toys from the new film, the Strike ‘N’ Roar Giganotosaurus.
Getting the large dinosaur out of the box was a feat in itself. First cut off all the thin plastic ties securing the body to the box, then unlock the box from its feet underneath, just twist the white locks a quarter of a turn and pull the lock out.
Then remove the long plastic strip, I think this stopped the battery from working whilst in the box, I didn’t actually see where it went, as it pulled out when I lifted the dinosaur out, and it started roaring straight away, so it must have been fed between the included batteries in the battery compartment, underneath the dinosaur.
There is a part of the dinosaurs tail that you can pull out, and when scanned within the ‘Jurassic World Facts’ app, will give you some dino facts, dinosaurs to collect, games, videos and much more. No registration needed or in app purchases.
Above the dinosaurs tail is the strike mechanism button, and below his tail operates his mouth, both buttons trigger a roar.
The arms and legs move so you can position him in various attack positions. His feet also twist, to lock the legs into position, so don’t try and force the legs before moving his feet.
This dinosaur can be played with all the other dinosaurs, to make your very own dinosaur park and the app just expands the fun you can have. My grandson loves dinosaurs and this Giganotosaurus is going to fit in great with his others, the set just keeps getting bigger!
We’re happy to thoroughly recommend this dinosaur .

5.0 out of 5 stars A great addition to your dinosaur park 🦖

Big realistic model character from the Jurassic world universe. The finish on my sample was fine it does have whiteish streaks that I think are scars from the film and seen on the box pictures and I do wonder if the reviewer that mentioned it had mistaken the white blotches that are on the model and visible in the box pictures for a blotched finish? The model action and sounds are great and it’s plenty loud enough! The AR feature is a bit gimmicky but perhaps it’s because I’m an old fogey!
