Bought this as my old fan broke. I love this a lot more. Compared to over reviews I think this blows out cold air which is good as it’s so hot right now and it’s only loud when changing settings such as speed and the light colour etc. Good value for money and works perfectly
Bought this for my truck to place in the cab for the hot days when I’m trying to sleep. Will start using it this week so will update after five days of use. So far here’s the review for now. Arrived in a nice box all packaged well and protected. Easy to get out the box and set up (took less than 2 mins )
The controls are easy to understand and work well with the infrared premiere control ( pull the plastic tab off the battery and it works straight away )
There are three mode settings that have complimentary lights around the top rim, white, green and blue. Three fan settings and a timer that goes from 1/2 hour to 7 hours. Rotates as expected which is another bonus. So to sum up, great price, great design, functional and practical for me to use at work. Will post a picture of it in place and working so you can see. My partner likes it and wants one for her bedside cabinet so will be ordering another one straight away.
Nice desk fan which is nice and quiet previous fans have been noisy and creat vibration which can be heard on a quiet night or through the floor of the house but not with this fan. Its got a nice selection of settings and comes with a remote. Ive used this continuously for 5-8 hours at a time and its held up well for such a cheap fan. Id definitely recommend
Bought this for use in my home gym. It’s not a bad fan for that purpose. A little noisy, but you wont notice that if you have headphones on. For a home office it might be a problem however. It doesn’t blow cold air per se (it’s not like an Aircon unit) but it does a pretty good job of cooling you down. The sweep feature is nice. My only real criticism is the build quality of the stand. It’s made of thin plastic and the unit, being quite tall, can wobble quite a lot if nudged. This is a minor point though. On the whole, if you can put up with a bit of noise on the high setting, this is a nice little unit.
PLEASED WITH MY PURCHASE JUST BEFORE 40C HEATWAVE HELPING ME COPE.I FOUND THE COOLING BREEZE WAS ENHANCED BY HAVING IT BLOW OVER ICE CUBES FLOATING IN A BOWL OF WATER.
It’s a little noisy, but what do you expect for the price. It does keep the room cool and I like the remote and the modern look to it – It’s not a huge eye sore in my room. I don’t like the beep sound every time you change mode or speed. Makes using it at night a pain. The sleep cycle is sooooo annoying. It turns the fan on and off and I’m a light sleeper so that won’t work. Keep the fan on low speed at night and it will be fine.
It’s an excellent fan, I’m not sure how it’s providing cool air given it’s not an aircon unit but I’m not going to question the sweet sweet cool breeze in my face.
The noise isn’t noticable above the tv or conversation and at night provides some white noise which is unexpectedly helpful.
The remote is quite small and I’m already unsure of it’s current whereabouts but it’s not a hardship to get up and press a button.
Sleep mode – great in theory but in reality, it cycles through all 3 speed modes which is very noticable to your ears esp if you’re trying to fall asleep.
Timer – do not use if you’re sleeping as, when the timer runs out and the fan turns off, it loudly beeps to alert you that it’s turning off. Which, if you’re a light sleeper, will wake you up.
All in all, great for the price. Just pick your preferred fan speed and leave it on that.
I ordered this in the first heatwave. When I first turned it on it dodn’t seem strong enough, but it keeps air circulating and, as long as you’re close enough will stave off the worst of the heat. The night and natural modes are more annoying than useful, particularly the difference in sound. I don’t notice the sound if it’s constant (pretty quiet even at highest level), but the stop-start of the other modes is a distraction esp if you’re trying to sleep. Timer’s great, but at the moment I’m leaving it on pretty much non-stop and it’s handling it well. The most important thing is, it keeps me cooler. So it does its job.
Really like this narrow oscillating fan; it’s quite sturdy without being heavy really good if you are arthritic like me – there is no setting up – just plug in and turn it on
Fits nicely into a narrow space and the oscillator keeps my bedside nice and cool.really chuffed with it in this heatwave Also looks much better than those wobbly large round fans .which take up so much room glad I saw this when I was looking for a fa
I bought the small verison, it does the job in that it blows cool-ish air around although it’s not that quiet, I’d equate it to sleeping on a night flight – there’s a definite hum but it isn’t deafening by any means. I think light sleepers might have an issue with the level of noise even on the lowest setting. When it’s really hot we’re all quite irritably anyway so the noise might annoy some.
It asked me to rate sleep mode, I’ve been over the instructions and the unit and I don’t see a sleep mode anywhere, this may be a feature on the bigger models but certainly not one I can find on the smallest size.
I’m genuinely delighted with this product. I have sensory processing disorders, and for the past week I’ve been unable to function because of the heat. I guess the temperature would only be moderate to most but it was the worst week for me in a long time due to the heat. I saw some mixed reviews about this but I thought it would be well worth trying for such a low price.
The shipping was really fast and the set up was as simple as unpackaging, plugging in and turning the switch. Immediately it made a huge difference and I’m delighted to report that in the three or so days I’ve had it, I’ve been able to build 15 flat pack furniture items from IKEA that I had been putting off since we moved rooms.
It makes such a difference and all of my siblings who walked into my room commented on how lovely and cool it was because of this cooling tower.
It’s not silent but it’s extremely quiet and I’ve had it on pretty much since I got it and I’ve had no issues with trying to sleep with it on.
My room is pretty large but with the swing feature it can go from way too hot to pleasantly cool in a few minutes. It also great because it doesn’t increase the humidity of my room unlike many cooling towers.
If you’re looking for an affordable but we’ll build fan or cooling tower (unlike the Dyson 400+ euros) I would recommend this 1000%.
Great quality for price, fantastic buy!
