Kingston FURY Renegade 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16 Desktop Memory Kit of 4 KF432C16RBK4/32
Some legacy chipsets/processors from Intel prior to 8th Gen have not been updated to support memory modules featuring DDR4 16Gbit density DRAM. Check with system or motherboard manufacturer for an updated BIOS to support 16Gbit DRAM.
1. The specification of the extreme overclocking modules listed on this page may be beyond the capabilities of your AMD or Intel system hardware. Careful selection of all system components (e.g. CPU, motherboard, PSU) is required to ensure these modules will function as intended. These kits are thoroughly tested and verified in the factory to run at the listed speed for XMP Profile 1. 2. As a backup, a 2nd XMP profile at a slower clock speed is included so you can still achieve great performance if your system cannot handle the highest speed XMP profile. We cannot confirm compatibility with all systems; these modules should be installed and used at your own risk. Only select AMD and Intel based motherboards are able to achieve speeds of DDR4-4000 and above. Check motherboard Qualified Vendor Lists (QVL) to verify Renegade high speed support on the motherboard vendor website and/or Intel XMP certified list. Premium system cooling (CPU and case) are required for high-speed memory stability. On Intel platforms, X or K series processors are recommended.

Upgrading to Ryzen 5000 series might not seem that special but I’d still want the best out of it.
With RAM being so cheap I opted for this slightly dearer RAM as it’s CL16.
Does it make my CPU and computer faster?
Technically, yes. But it’s more just to make me feel better. And it does
I ordered the 64gb (4x16gb) installed into pc, enabled XMP and these worked at the rated 3600mhz straight away. Why can’t all ram be this easy? I’ve experienced a lot of headaches with ram claiming to run at the rated XMP speed but won’t
Overall very pleased with the product .
I swapped my good old 16GB 3200 for this one and I’m very impressed. Easy to install, clean design, and working better than I expected. I had to update my BIOS tho.
Installed these on an MSI B550 with latest BIOS, no issues, I manually set the speed to 3600 with “Try it now” OC option to get a slight boost over the stock settings timings with 16-19 over 16-20 default. These are quality, premium sticks, can tell from the weight and feel over competitor products and ability to overclock.
Works fine at 3600 MHz on an Asus Prime X470 Pro with a 3900X, so no complaints whatsoever. Also has a fall back profile for 3000 that I don’t need to use.
bought this memory kit to upgrade my PC for gaming and streaming. I was looking for some fast and reliable DDR4 memory that could work with both Intel and AMD platforms. I chose the Kingston FURY Renegade 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) 3600 MHz DDR4 CL16 Desktop Memory Kit of 2 KF436C16RB1K2/32 because it had good reviews and a reasonable price. Here are some of the pros and cons of this memory kit:
One of the pros of this memory kit is that it is very fast and stable, with speeds up to 3600 MHz and latencies of CL16. It supports Intel XMP profiles, which make overclocking a breeze. Just select one of the built-in profiles in your BIOS and you’re good to go. It also works well with AMD Ryzen processors, as it is compatible and ready for Ryzen.
Another pro of this memory kit is that it is very stylish and cool, with a fierce black aluminium heat spreader that keeps the modules cool and protects them from overheating. It also has a matching black PCB that blends well with your PC theme. The memory kit looks sleek and stealthy, like a renegade on a mission.
A third pro of this memory kit is that it is very durable and well-made, with a lifetime warranty from Kingston, which gives you peace of mind in case anything goes wrong. The memory modules are 100% tested at speed to ensure they are free from manufacturing and material defects. The memory kit is backed by over 30 years of experience from Kingston, which is a trusted brand in the industry.
One of the cons of this memory kit is that it is quite expensive compared to other similar memory kits on the market. It costs around 89 on Amazon UK (or $110 on Amazon US), which is quite a lot for 32 GB of RAM. You might be able to find cheaper alternatives with similar performance or better value.
Another con of this memory kit is that it is slightly tall, with a height of 42.2 mm, which might cause some clearance issues if you have a large CPU cooler or a small PC case. You might want to check your dimensions before buying this memory kit to avoid any compatibility problems.
A third con of this memory kit is that it might not work well with some older motherboards or BIOS versions, as it requires support for DDR4-3600 speeds and XMP profiles. You might need to update your BIOS or tweak some settings manually to get the best performance out of this memory kit.
Overall, I think this is a renegade memory kit that will make your PC fly if you want some fast and reliable DDR4 RAM that can work with both Intel and AMD platforms. It’s not the cheapest or the most compatible option out there, but it’s definitely one of the most stylish and reliable ones.

Fantastic dual rank ram! XMP enabled goes to 3200mhz, the recommended for my i5 12600k (and a bunch of ryzens as well). Could not recommend enough! Unless you want to overclock, in which case get the single rank Kingston beast instead. I don’t OC so this is just perfect.
Amazing RAM that I bought for my new desktop PC. I was originally after some Ripjaws RAM sticks, however it was very difficult to find them in the UK and would end up costing approximately 60 more, while also requiring about a week to be delivered.
I decided to go with these RAM sticks, as they offered the same speed and CL. Zero regrets. 60 saved and these RAM sticks look sleek and keep a low profile, allowing me to use them with my Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black CPU cooler, which requires one fan to be raised to allow clearance for the RAM sticks. I think that with my current case, I would not be able to have taller RAM sticks and keep the 2nd CPU cooler fan.
No problems setting them to XMP profile and using the full speed, which is correctly reported by HWiNFO. For the primary use of gaming and secondary use of image/video editing, this RAM has been a great choice so far!
With 5800X, 3933C16-21-21-36-460 with 1.5V DRAM Voltage.
With 13700KF, 4300C17-22-22-38-480 with 1.57V, or 5333C20-28-28-48-650 with 1.75V.
They are very similar in games.
Better to add a fan for DRAM with over 1.5V.
I’ve always had a good experience with Kingston’s gaming range ram.
I got the 2 x 8gb 4800mhz kit.
Unfortunately I couldn’t get it stable at 4800mhz with XMP, but runs fine at 4600mhz.
It’s probably possible to hit 4800mhz with some tweaks to the ram timings, but ddr4 at 4600mhz is great.
To be honest, depending on your motherboard and CPU, anything over 4000mhz can be problematic.
Amazing ram though and the performance at 4600mhz is excellent.
Excellent kit, perhaps priced slightly higher compared to competition but worth the money in my opinion. My kit of 2x16GB 3600MHz is dual rank which lately is becoming a lottery and is more difficult to find. This is also a an absolute sweet spot for zen 3 CPUs 32GB/3600MHz/CL16/Dual Channel/Dual Rank. Highly recommended.
I ordered 4x 16gb RAM. I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s still working perfectly. Not that I need anywhere need 64gb but it’s nice to know it’s there.
Hi, after three months of using these memories, I suddenly came across a blue screen on my computer, I bought these memories three months ago and was surprised they were defective so soon, During the hardware inspection and troubleshooting, I noticed that the system shows a memory failure, But with a bit of memory switching and troubleshooting again, the problem is solved and the memories are working fine now, I am satisfied with the product now, the memory speed is very good and they are working flawlessly at the moment, I recommend buying it.
Repurposed an old computer which involved putting new RAM and SSD in as this had been used in a new machine. Easy install as expected just clicked into place, plenty of performance whether working on Adobe Creative Cloud or gaming although I must admit it isn’t a games machine and the only game really is Lost Ark.
I will keep it brief. At around 77quid for the pair, I think this is amazing value. You could pay a lot more for slightly better latency, but if you are like me and just want to double your ram from 8 to 16, with a brand that has a reputation for reliability, then you can’t go wrong with this.
Installation of the RAM stick was easy on my motherboard. Just snap them in and my PC knew what to do. I immediately checked the status of how much RAM my computer was reading and it was all there. Both sticks were recognized as 8 GB each and at 3200MHz.
Do make sure it’s in the right DIMM slots or the RAM will only run in a single channel or below the OC speed. Now I got 16GB of ram and a 3.4 GHz processor. I’m just zooming away!
Highly recommended!
Thank you for reading my honest and unbiased review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂
This is the Kingston FURY Renegade 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16. It is one of the best RAM options for anyone building their own gaming/editing/rendering PC. A pack of ” 8GB Rams is perfect for most games, and a pack of 4 8GB is advised for heavy photo/video editing or rendering, based on my personal experience.
Many people would highlight the basics: It’s a two 8GB DDR4 Ram set, it is compatible with any X99, Z170, H110, H170, C232, and C236 motherboard (search the codes to know which motherboards exactly), and it has a speed of 3200 MHz which is almost the standard nowadays. You might experience a difference if you go with 3600MHz, but anything higher doesn’t make any huge performance boost. What people usually ignore is the latency: This is identified by the CL code which stands for cas Latency. Think of a RAM as a device made of many columns that store data, and cas latency is the time needed to make that data available. In this case, CL16 means it takes 16 clock cycles for that process to happen. This RAM’s CL falls within the upper scale. It’s not slow but it could have been faster.
The design and build quality are amazing and this is what is expected of a renowned maker like Kingston. You wouldn’t experience any overheating issues as most RAMs don’t overheat anyway. I wish this had some RGB features but I am aware there is an RGB variant which is cool.
This set of RAMs is more than enough for most demanding games. If you are getting it for video editing, I would suggest 4 slots of 8GB, instead of 2, and instead of 2*16GB.
All in all, very capable RAM and go with most modern motherboards.
This is an excellent quality DDR4 RAM.
The Fury Renegade are nice and aggressive looking memory modules.
Each module has a nice solid matt black aluminum heat spreader, which keeps the RAM cooler while dealing with heavy load and demanding PC games.
The RAM comes in a kit of 16GB ,which is 2 memory modules of 8GB each.
These are 16GB of memory that can work up to 3200Mhz,but to do that you need to have CPU and motherboard that support 3200Mhz.
There are CPUs that support 3200Mhz only when they are used in Overclocking mode and in normal mode they support less than 3200Mhz.
This kit will still work if it is less than 3200Mhz ,but you will not be able to use the full speed of the memory so it is good to check if both your CPU and motherboard are supporting this type of RAM before you buy.
The price of the kit at the moment is 72.80 , which is pretty low for the quality that you get.
Recommend.
Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.
This fantastic memory kit has high speeds paired with low latencies for insane performance for sure. With this speeds of up to 5333MHz paired with quick CL12–CL20 timings help your computer based system power through games, video editing and broadcasting. The dense black aluminum heat spreader and matching black PCB keeps your rig running and looking cool this is very helpful. Design is really cool and this memory kit will work with allmost any desktop computer. Doing really great job my computer working much quicker with them. If it’s about the price 81.98 at the moment this is very good price for this quality product.
Highly recommend!
This review is for the Kingston FURY Renegade 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16 Desktop Memory Kit of 2. The Ram is where data is stored before any processing occurs within your computer so it’s probably one of the most important hardware in your computer acter the CPU. DDR4 is the latest dynamic RAM technology, mostly only compatible with newer motherboards. The benefit of using DDR4 instead of DDR3 is that DDR4 RAM has higher overall speed, increased transfer rates and less voltage which means less overall power consumption by 40% and boosts performance and bandwidth by 50% to DDR3 RAM.
Kingston it’s always been a trusted brand for me, I have used their RAMs in my Apple MacBook’s (before M1 chip) and in many gaming PC’s I’ve built in the past decades. It’s already promising that all this Kingston RAMs comes with limited lifetime warranty.
Would highly recommend upgrading your computer with this Kingston FURY Renegade 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) 3200 MHz DDR4 CL16 Desktop Memory Kit of 2 if you’re regularly using programs that require a lot of memory like games, engineering programs, or photo and video editing software. I’ve got the 2 x 8 GB module and with 3200MHz but it’s also available from 2666MHz to 5333MHZ. My experience is that no real difference between 3600hz upwards to 5333Mhz in real world use, only get 5333 if you want those benchmark scores or using some kind of software that requires necessary speeds, if not 3600Mhz is fine for gaming and for everyday use. Also, it worth to check your motherboard before you buy it, as it might not be compatible or will not allow to RAM to run on the high MHz’s. To find your motherboard model in Windows 10, go to the Power User Task Menu, type in “run” and then “MSinfo32.” or on mac click on the Apple icon, select the “About This Mac”, copy the serial number from the information window and google the serial number to get the full spec of the motherboard and check the compatibility.
Installing the rams is simple and easy, it’s a plug and play hardware that does not require any software. I would suggest to save anything what you’ve been working on the computer, as most of this information is kept on the ram until you save it, and you will lose it when you turn off the computer. Remove your old ram and put in your new RAM sticks, match the notches with the gaps in the motherboard and push firmly and evenly until you hear a ‘click’. After you’ve installed the new RAM kit, close your computer. Restart everything and reboot, then you RAM is ready to use by your CPU.
Compare to other DDR4 RAM on the market this one is a little bit pricier but it’s a Kingston. It’s a well trusted brand with great reputation. My computer very stable with this ram, boot time significantly less than before, all programs run instantly, all my heavy RAM consuming apps like Adobe software, VirtualBox works great with less crashing and no freeze. I’m very impressed and highly recommend it.
A great memory kit, you get 2 lots of 8GB which works in pairs. I have 4 slots and already have 16GB so I now have upgraded to 32GB of memory. RAM prices are so affordable these days that you can now take advantage of memory-intensive applications. I use Adobe Audition and work with RAW music files, these use a lot of system RAM and the more I have means the less it needs to buffer to the SSD so increases system performance overall.
Installing was easy as I know what I am doing. You don’t get any anti-static straps with these but as long as you carefully hold it at its edges you should be fine. The BIOS picks up and configure it automatically as well. Windows 10 works a bit better , so do my games. Kingston is a brand you can trust and is reliable. Very happy with this and a must for gaming PCs and memory-hungry applications.
This is an excellent memory kit perfect for gaming , my son has been in the process of building a PC with gaming in mind , it’s been a slow and steady process for him , improving the PC and changing parts as he goes along and he is over the moon with this Kingston Fury Renegade 16gb DDR4 kit , it’s a definite improvement for his PC memory and overall performance, allowing a smoother all round performance.
The kit consists of 2 x 8gb , they look really sleek and well made in design and look cool once installed, they are well a respected name with some of the top performing memory speeds for PC gaming, you can buy more powerful kingston Fury kits than the 2 x 8gb but this kit is still adequate for PC gaming and are available at a really good price of 105 at the time of review.
These are now an invaluable part of my 13 year olds PC that he has built up himself, the performance is excellent, I’d definitely recommend these for anyone looking for a good quality memory kit for their gaming PC , sleek, fast, well made and look cool.
A superb bit of ki
