This is perfect to clean and dry salad leaves, I even used it to dry the bagged spinach that always goes bad because of the moist inside the bag. So far so good, great product!
I love this item, it’s the first time I’ve ever used a salad spinner and it works brilliantly! Much much better than drying in linen cloth or using kitchen roll. Wish I’d got one years ago
I recently purchased the KitchenCraft Deluxe Salad Spinner and Dresser on Amazon and it has quickly become my new favorite kitchen gadget. It is incredibly efficient, making meal prep so much easier. The powerful spinning mechanism dries my salad greens quickly and evenly, and I love that I can use it as a dressing shaker as well.
While the construction of the salad spinner and dresser may appear a bit fragile, I’ve found it to be surprisingly durable with proper care. It’s also compact enough to store easily in my kitchen without taking up too much space.
Overall, I’m thrilled with my purchase of the KitchenCraft Deluxe Salad Spinner and Dresser. It’s reliable, efficient, and has made preparing salads a breeze. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality kitchen tool.
Effectively dispells excess water from salads to prevent them going soggy. The plastic / rubber base helps keep it from sliding about when spinning, and the handle is large and easy to grip
Highly recommended salad spinner this makes salad crunchy also I use this to clean and dry my herbs and store it lasts longer and saves my time between cooking.
Must buy productTotally worth the price comes with good quality almost 3months using without any problem.
Great salad spinner. It seems quite big. When closing the lid, just be careful about the alignment with the base, so that it doesn’t push against the protruding bits. I’ve attached pictures to make up for my poor description. That’s the only issue, probably to be attributed to poor design but not a deal breaker. I could easily see it getting damaged if not careful.
Been putting off the review to see how it performs. Use this about 3 times a week and the quality of materials used to produce the spinner are really good. I have had these spinners in the past and after a couple of months of use they stain, look grubby and make you not want to use them. Not this though, it is standing up well and still looks as good as the day I opened the box. You get what you pay for. Would recommend.
This has a very easy action, but it is very large, didn’t realize quite how big it was going to be!! Takes up lots of room in cupboard- sometimes I cannot be bothered to get it out, so just use sieve and dry on kitchen towel
got fed up with short life ready washed leaf so went back to whole head not a fan of wet leaf on my plate the colander works but not well. I purchased this little number, abb Fab love this, my favorite kitchen aid at the moment easy to use and the leaf, mixed salad, baby potatoes etc etc dry in seconds, there’s a convenient hole to pour a dressing should you wish I dont bother as its a pain to wash after and prefer my dressing over with a spoon but its a good feature all the same
This was a replacement for a similar one I had bought from a supermarket a number of years ago. Although the old one worked, it was a real pain to use because the lid would dismantle itself and it was really difficult to get it to align the lid with the basket and bowl.
This one, however, is so easy to use – the lock in place clips help. It also looks nice. One potential downside, I can see that the basket will probably start breaking over time. The basket is identical to the one in my old salad spinner, and it was when that fell apart that I had to throw the whole thing away. However, it did last a few years, so hopefully this one will too.
Good size basket; got 400g spinach in the basket no problem. Easy to put the lid on and snap down in place. (might be tough for someone with arthritis). Only took a few spins and the spinach was water-free. Silicone ring on the base keeps the whole thing in place. Can see that the basket could be very useful as a colander and the bowl to serve salad/fruit in. Nice touch to have a way of adding oil during the process too. Basket and bowl fit in the dishwasher. Took a mark off for sturdiness as I think the bowl could crack if mishandled; basket seems fine.
UPDATE| uh-oh…spoke too soon. Despite handling it with great care, my bowl has cracked. I’d filled in one-third of the way up with water to wash some lettuce, picked the bowl up from the top with a hand on each side and I felt it go….a small crack about 5 cm long. Now what?
Useful to wash the salads and spin to dry them. I was dilemma with below questions, after using it for 1 year, I share my finding below. If you find them helpful, please click “Helpful” so that my answer stays on the top to help more people.
a) Large or small spinner?
The bowl is huge. If you take salad frequently, you will appreciate its huge size, I recommend to go for the large one. If you only take salad occasionally, I would not recommend a spinner at all (even a small size spinner) because it is indeed a large bowl and take your kitchen space.
b) Is the spinner sturdy?
The bowl is made of plastic. If you wash the salad in it, and lift with one hand while it is full with water, the bowl will break. The spinner is useless without its bowl. Go for the metal bowl if you can afford. Personally I can live with plastic bowl and be extra careful to lift the bowl when it is full of water.
Thanks.
Only just received this spinner and have used it three times. It is relatively stable in use and spins well, much better than our previous one, you can get a good speed up. Works best if you spin at least twice, the second time after shooshling the leaves about in the basket.
Leaves the salad reasonably dry which is the whole point of the kit, it is easy to use and clean, but only the bowl and basket can be put in the dishwasher top rack.
All in all very pleased and good value for money. Only slight concern is how robust it is going to prove to be in the long run.
I will update the review if there are any future developments.
I find this well made and it does the job well. The inner netting basket is slightly delicate, but so are all of them in salad rinsers as far as I know, you just have to treat it reasonably gently when rinsing the lettuce. The outer bowl and lid are very robust and the water flies off like a whiz without the bowl slipping. It’s a little big but rather too big than too small in my view, and perfect for when guests are over or when preparing a big bag of kale for smoothie freezing.
Great product delivered quickly. Salad spinners are on of those items you don’t know you need until you get one. No more dripping leaves, no more trying to pat stuff dry with kitchen roll. Give it a quick spin and most of the water is gone. The handle moves smoothly and is comfortable to grip, and the aperture for adding dressing means there’s even coverage – no dressing puddle in the bottom of the bowl, no missed leaves. It’s dishwasher safe, and as salad spinners go, easy on the eye.

Can hold a decent amount of salad, body and interior are dishwasher safe, but lid is handwash only which is to be expected.
Have bought spinners in the past which start to feel flimsy quickly but this has held up well to multiple uses + washing.
