We bought Rusty as we really liked Freddie and were taking him everywhere, so Rusty was to leave at Grandma’s.
Although a very good quality toy, we prefer the Freddie version of this.

Bought this as a present for a mum-to-be because my daughter fell in love with this robot when she went to the osteopaths as a newborn. The textures, colours and because it has a face is an ideal toy for little ones.

A fantastic toy for babies and toddlers, if I had to buy another baby present I’d buy this again ! The mirror, the dangly toys, crunchy feet and the head that makes a clicking noise as it turns are all very engaging for children.

So cute, it’s soft, some of the colours don’t match in places but that doesn’t matter to us. My brother loved it and he thinks his baby will too. Very soft, great for babies to teeth on with the tether rings attached. It’s brillia

Got this for my new arrival, I’m sure when he is here he’ll love it! It’s nice and colours with plenty of different textures which will be sure to draw interest, I didn’t expect the toy to be so big for a click on Oran toy and fear it might be as big as the baby but I am happy with purchase it was a very fast delivery and good service thank you

A really lovely toy. Head rotates with clicking sound, colourful, lots of textures and patterns to keep baby entertained. Would make an ideal gift. Excellent quality and value for money. Have washed in washing machine and comes out looking brand new. Highly recommended.

My boys favourite toy. Had to buy 2 in case one gets lost. The head spins round which is a great feature and he loves the mirror. Also the rings on the robots hands are great for teething.

It’s a bit difficult to review this item. I like it very much, it has lots of colours, the legs make lots of noises (like you would bndle up a plastic bag kind of sound), the head rotates 360 degrees. so there is a lot going on with this toy.
However, there is only one person it needs to impress and that’s the baby. He seems to be more enthusiastic about the box it came in rather than the toy. but other babies seem to be all over it. so it is a bit of a lottery with this one. Have fu

Bought this last year for my nephew’s little boy and he has had so much fun with it I decided to buy again for a friend’s baby. Lamaze can always be relied upon for good quality and this was the best price on the Internet.

As with most the lamaze soft toys, Rusty the Robot offers something new to keep babies and young children interested. My son found the rotating head which makes a soft clicking sound when twisted, mesmerising.
Rusty often hangs from the car seat or play mat, teething rings being pulled or gummed on as my son stares into the reflective service on Rusties chest.
Overall a great addition to the Lamaze soft toy range.

This is a lovely toy. It’s bright & colourful so attracts the attention of my baby. The head turns around, the body is quite soft (but firm) and there’s plastic rings to teethe on.

This can be attached to a pram, car seat, high chair or overhanging playmat.

Bought this and 2 other Lamaze toys for my 8 week old baby boy after I was given Eddie the Elephant as a gift. He is a little to young to enjoy these toys in full but is ready responding very well to the sounds and colours. A lot bigger than I expected which is great. I am sure they will give us hours as fun as my baby grows.

Gorgeous Robot, my son loves it, packaged well and bigger than I was expecting. Lots of bright colours and monochrome to keep little eyes interested, and plenty of textures to feel. I love the fact he has both sides with a face and buttons so when he is hanging up of the buggy my son can still see his face and details.

Marvellous you, our 4 month old has really enjoyed this over the last month or so. The mirror on the belly is, of course, a delight. We hang it from him activity gym and he enjoys yanking at it. This and his lion are his favourite toys… actually, this may well be his absolute favourite. It’s good the the robot has a face on both sides of his body.

Lovely robot with a few different features for baby to enjoy. My 9 month old loves his robot and enjoys the teething rings and the clicking noise it makes when its head turns around. Lovely and colourful, very well made. I did get it as a lightening deal was a real bargai

I bought this for my grandson when he was 4 months old so he always had a toy when he comes to visit. He loves it, he loves to chew it, look at it, hug it, it makes him smile. He is now 6 months and still loves it. Bought it at a reduced price, do not know how they can make this quality at this price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is a lovely toy, a nice size, suited to 6 moths plus I would say. There are several attention grabbing features to keep baby entertained. The links on one arm have two textures and are not the very lightweight flimsy type, they are a nice contrasting colour and are held by a cloth covered link. All of which are ideal for teething baby. The other arm has moving shapes which are tinted plastic and catch the light well. The mirror on the belly is shiny and does not scratch easily. The feet have a crinkly filling and make a nice sound when grabbed. The head rotates easily and is attached to cot or ran or car seat early using the supplied link. My baby and I love this toy and have already purchased another as a gift which has been extremely well received by parent and baby.

I bought this for my nieces new born son, along with Lamaze Freddie the Firefly; one for the cot and one for the buggy. The construction quality stood out straight away and gave a feeling that no amount of tugging, chewing or throwing would cause any damage that would result in burst seams or parts becoming detached. The colours are vibrant and eye catching and the size of the toys is perfect for developing little hands. For it’s size the toy provides a great array of different things to occupy baby.

All in all, a well thought out toy that any baby will love. Highly recommended.

I chose this toy after a friend recommended it and it just so happened to be on sale too. I love the range of Lamaze toys and thought Rusty was perfect for my little boy. It has two sides, one with a mirror and the rings on the end of the arms are great for babies to chew. The feet are crinkly which my little boy loves too. I would definitely recommend this toy as it has lots of features and is brilliant value.

I purchased this as an impulse buy when half price and very glad I did. My son loves it! I tend to find a lot of children’s toys advertising descriptions include a complete load of waffle about how each stripe stimulates that sense in this particular way blah blah blah…

As a mum my main concern after safety is whether or not my boy enjoys playing with his toys as no matter how cheap something may be, if it sits in the toybox in an unloved fashion then it’s a waste.

Thankfully Robot is one of the first few out so I would recommend this on the basis of preference, however, as I find with other Lamaze toys they are very well made and withstand a good amount of chewing, throwing, washing etc so very practical and durable unlike some other well known brands. Recommended.

A lot of the lamaze toys are quite “girly” – butterflies, little cutesie animals etc. I bought this for my best friend who lives in Brighton and is really quite trendy, and had just had a boy. I wanted something that was properly “masculine”. It is the only lamaze toy that she uses and she and her husband are really quite proud of it. It is really fetching, very bright with its neon colours and does look really quite cool. Her little boy loves it as it has the teething rings and the various little things to play wiht like all lamaze toys. They keep it on his pram and transfer it over to the mat when he’s down. My best friend said that quite a number of mums had asked her where she got it from as they’ve never seen one in shops, and my friend is really quite chuffed with it. I’ve looked around I can agree that I haven’t seen one in shops either! All in all, for a boy this is a really funky little robot that looks good and keeps the little boys entertained.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe love Rusty! I purchased him mainly because I thought he was cute but my son (6 mnth) just loves him. Its the first Lamaze soft toy that he ever pays any attention, all the little thingys just seems to be just in the right place, in my sons opinion.

Oh, and the picture here is an old one. The ‘new’ Rusty has 2 transparent beads in the right hand, which is the best thing about him, after the mirror and the ‘spin-around’ head.

    LOVE him!
