Easy to fit on bike, sturdy, spacious, easily fits an iPhone and touch works great through the protective plastic. Two minor issues that stop this from being the perfect 5 stars: (1) it is just a teeny bit too wide at the bottom and my knees keep bumping it and (2) the magnetic clasp is convenient but messes with the compass in my phone so using google maps for navigation makes the direction arrow point in all sorts of bad directions and throwing off map orientation on the screen.
I bought this top tube bag for a sportive event. I usually can’t eat much of the food provided for dietary reasons, and this bag was ideal, as it allowed me to carry everything I needed for a long ride. The only slight drawback is that the phone compartment is a bit wider than the bag and the edges are a bit stiff and sharp, and my knees caught it occasionally, but it’s not a deal breaker. The double zip is really easy to open and close. The velcro straps keep the bag in place. All in all, a good purchase.
The Lamicall Waterproof Bike Frame Bag is a must-have accessory for any cyclist who wants to keep their essentials within reach during rides. With its practical features, durable construction, and convenient design, this bike frame bag is a reliable companion for mountain biking and cycling adventures.
One of the standout features of this bag is its waterproof design. The durable TPU material effectively protects your belongings from rain, splashes, and even light showers. I have tested it in various weather conditions, and it has proven to be highly water-resistant, keeping my valuables safe and dry throughout my rides.
The Linkage Zipper system of this bag is a game-changer. It allows for easy and quick access to the contents without having to fully open the bag. The zipper smoothly glides along the bag’s perimeter, providing a seamless opening and closing experience. This feature is particularly useful when you need to grab your phone or other items on the go, without interrupting your cycling rhythm.
This bag is relatively tough, and you can fit loads in. The one thing i would note is this type of bag needs paint protection aroud the bike stem, or it can potentially rub on the paint as you steer.
All in its great.
This is larger than i expected and comes with several straps to attach to various sized bikes, easy to attach, lovely colour and will certainly be seen with the reflective strip around i
Space is really good inside to fit pocket items.
Phone sleeve is really clever although the magnetic part is fidgety and a tiny bit annoying. All in all great product, does the job 🙂
Cycling has always been a passion of mine, and I thought I had seen it all. But this waterproof bike frame bag made my rides even better! I easily fit my mobile phone (6.5 inches) in the TPU touch screen compartment, and it’s perfect for glancing at maps or changing tunes while on the go. The reflective strip is an excellent safety feature, especially when I’m riding at night.
The 1.8L capacity holds more than I anticipated. Now, I can carry snacks, a mini pump, and spare inner tubes with ease. The linkage zipper keeps everything dry, even during the heaviest downpours
Got this bag for my son, a well made and sturdy cycle frame bag. This frame bag also has a TPU touch screen mobile pouch that can accommodate mobile phones up to 7 inches. Very useful as it allows cyclists to view their phone while riding, without having to take it out of the bag or pocket. The touch screen is also sensitive enough to allow users to operate their phone while in pouch.
The reflective strip helps to improve visibility and alert other road users of the cyclist’s presence, reducing the risk of accidents. The bag is designed to be waterproof, which means that it can protect the contents from rain, water splashes, and dust.
This is a really handy sized bag which mounts onto my mountainbike frame at just the right spot to make it easy to access and keep my phone visible when on longer rides and need to see google map routes.
It fits nice and securely onto the frame of my bike, holds essentials like wallet and bike tools which are securely zipped away in a waterproof case. My phone slides into the top sleeve and is securely held by a magnetic fastener which makes it very easy to access if needed but safe enough when cycling along.
It’s great to have the plastic cover so you can see your phone. Obviously not recommended to be using your phone whilst cycling but it makes bike sat nav a reality by being able to pop google maps on my phone and have the route visible whilst cycling along so I don’t get lost!
This is simple to install and it holds in place, doesn’t move around when you’re cycling.
It’s also very sturdy and it’s rainproof.
It’s spacious, I’m able to get everything I need inside.
You’re able to put your phone on the front, which is handy for using GPS maps.
I think it’s priced right.
I’ve had a couple of these over the years and this one is OK, the zip is a little tight, it holds the frame ok but not perfect. but all in all i’ll say its 4 stars and on par with other that are being sold but not 5 stars
This isn’t my first frame bag but it is definitely a very good one. Fixing to your crossbar is nice and easy with the Velcro straps provided. I used all three as well as the front one to keep it secure, put them on loose first before tightening one by one. It’s best to then cut off the excess Velcro to stop them flapping around. This one is different from others I have used as it has a separate phone flap that lays over the main compartment which has its own double zip. This means a slightly bigger pocket but is not too elegant particularly if you don’t actually take your phone with you (unlikely in my case). I’m sure I’ll get used to it and it holds my 6×3 inch phone (minus leather case) very easily. For reference the main compartment easily holds : inner tube, hand gel, latex gloves, tyre levers and multi-tool. It looks quite smart and I like the hi-viz yellow and reflective detailing. You can never have enough hi-viz when out on two wheels IMO. All in all a very good option for storage on two wheels with easy phone access and visibility.
This is a good size bag, it wont hold everything that you might take with you on an all day outing, like your food, drinks, sweat towel and the like. It will easily carry a basic tool kit, wallet, keys and a few other little bits in the main compartment which has a mesh pocket on each side on the inside so you could keep certain items separate if you wanted to. You have a phone pocket in the top / lid, This pocket has a clear plastic front so you can see your phone, a great help if you want to use your phone as a sat-nav. The main compartment has hard plastic panels on the sides and the edges have reflective piping sewn in to the seam. I think this will offer a reasonably good amount of protection to what ever is in the bag should you have a mishap. The top / lid is a separate sleeve type pocket for your phone. This is held closed by a magnetic pop stud however I feel this magnet should be much stronger than it is, this is the reason I have given 4 stars not 5 The top of the main compartment is held closed with a twin zip set up where the zips are linked together with a small strap. Installation is easy there is one strap pre fitted to the bag at the front, when not on the bike this strap could act as a handle for the bag. It comes with 3 other straps that you fit through slots in the bottom of the bag to suit the position of the bag on the bike frame. It is claimed to be waterproof but I haven’t put that to the test yet. All in all it’s a useful bag to carry your bits in that you don’t want in your pocket or wherever you normally have them with a clear holder for you to see your phone. Basic but good.
Great protection for valuables when riding a bike . The bag is very easy to install and is perfect for keeping at reach and you can put valuables inside . It has a good space when opened and you can fit allot inside . The quality is good nice material used and is tightly sealed when closed .
i have found that my phones touch screen isnt very responsive when in side the bag.
So this has caused some debate in our house as this issue means I wouldn’t use it, but my other half isnt bother by this issue..
The bag itself is a nice size and will hold anything we would take on a ride and it is good quality.
A very handy bike bag for you, or a great present for the cyclist in your life!
The sides are sturdy and it sits well on your bike. I like the reflective sides to the bag, any extra reflectiveness has to be a good thing.
The duel pull down handle to unzip it is good if you’re needing to hold your bike steady with one hand. There’s plenty of room for wallet/purse, keys and your phone. The case is waterproof and transparent but (as I find with waterproof phone holders) whilst you can swipe and touch your phone to help navigate etc. you do have to press relatively hard.
Looks good thoughand undoubtedly useful, especially on long bike rides where you might need Google maps to be visible.
This bike frame bag is quite impressive. It is not plasticky like the ones I got before and is so easy to install on my bike. It is sturdy and holds my phone well. The plastic screen is alright but sometimes I need to hard press it, maybe because of my phone’s screen protector. The price is also reasonable for its quality. I recommend the product.
This is a well designed and well made bike bag, ideal for sitting on the cross-bar on a men’s bike but it can also be used in other ways with a little ingenuity, including vertically by suspending from the handlebars and securing along the post.
The bag is made from a hard-wearing polyester fabric with semi-rigid plasticised sides and a lightly padded base. The upper tongue zips for security then a separate silicone rubber flap with clear PVC insert folds over this providing a weather-resistant durable cover into which a phone is inserted allowing the phone to be used as a satnav or map while also allowing full access to all touchscreen functions. My 7″ phone fitted well even without removing its silicone back protector and there are two Velcro panels to secure the panel closed ensuring the phone can’t slip out, plus a magnetic closure. Testing in light snow flurries then heavy showers confirmed it is rain-proof. The rains pools and slides off and the touchscreen functions work even when the cover is wet.
The reflective panels on the side of the case reflect light and car lights effectively and the high-viz yellow trim is attractive. In terms of design, function and practicality, this bag ticks every box and the 1.8L capacity stores keys, sunglasses, a few nibbles or, in winter, my rolled-up waterproof over-trousers.
I ordered this for my son.
He works out and cycles a great deal.
This bag houses your phone under a tpu touch sensitive cover so you can see your phone and are able use it for navigation for example while you’re on the go.
Under the phone the bag has a great capacity and a linkage zipper and a magnetic button closure so you can easily access it with just one hand.
It is stylish and has a reflective design. It is waterproof and once installed it is stable and anchored in place.
I would definitely recommend it.
In my opinion it’s stylish, thoughtfully designed and great value.
I hope you find my review helpful.
This is a nice little case. It’s semi-hard so keeps its shape even when it isn’t full and would offer a small amount of protection if you took a spill. It is smaller than I was expecting, but it would be great for short rides where perhaps you want to nip out and don’t want to carry around a big bag just for your keys, wallet and things like that. You could fit a few tools in here but even a little travel pump would probably be pushing it. Internal space is 22cm x 10cm x 10cm.
Fitting is super easy and pretty universal. It comes with two long velcro straps and a two shorter straps, one which is already installed on the front. The fact that it fit onto my e-bike frame that is wide enough to store its massive battery is testament that it should fit just about any bike frame going. Once you secure all three straps to the bike it holds really solid and doesn’t move about at all.
The phone pouch is quite clever. You put your phone into the case via a slot in the back that then closes up with a pair of magnets which keep it pretty secure, not to mention the fact that it is quite a tight fit anyway, so there’s really no danger of your phone sliding out. I could fit my iPhone 13 pro inside with its small bumper case still on, but it was a squeeze. The touchscreen works through the transparent window absolutely fine, with no problems.
OverallI think this is a nice bag. It’s well made and pretty much completely universal. It’s not the biggest, so if you want something to cart about tools and spare inner tubes, pumps, things like that, you might want to look at a pannier trunk or something, but for a convenient little pouch that can carry a few essentials then this is a nice thing to have handy. I can really see it shining in the summer when you ride around with even less pockets, but might not want. to take a bag around.
