Easy to use, sticks well, great for playing music and changing the mood. Looks great. No instructions to connect to your phone or which app to use but google and YouTube helped in the end.
Bought for my sons room went all the way around his room and only had to cut about 1m off. 14yr old loves it uses the app. The only thing is it has a constant light when turned off.
Got 2boxes of these for each child to have on their rooms.
We’ve only used the light functionality but been up 3 months so far and very easy to install and use. Lots of colours and adjustable brightness so they’re happy.
The sticky side holds them in place, and they work well with the remote.
It was also simple cutting them too size. There are numerous sections that can simply be cut with scissors without breaking the circuit.

After putting my lights up around my kitchen, they were working okay I set them to stay on White lights after an hour. The white light setting changed to another colour tried to fix by using the remote control put white lights back on at changing it to another colour, so rather than me taking them all down and sending them back for a new set by the time. I take it all back down as I have a wheelchair user so would take me a long time so just have to put up with i
My son rarely has his regular light on anymore. His led lights are on a timer and switch on 15 minutes before his alarm in the morning to help him get ready for waking up. He’s usually in blue light, very rarely purple. Like he loves them and they’re well used. Turned out to be a great gift for him.
Good overall. I’ve never used these before. But I’m really happy with them. For child’s bedroom. He loves the fact he can change colour himself.
Only down side would be that I expected two separate plugs to plug in. With there being two reels. The corners were pretty tricky to manoeuvre. I bought some L shaped extenders. However didn’t use these as I was scared to cut the reel and the lights not work after putting them up.
I’d order again though. Very pretty colours.
I have insomnia and somniphobia and this helps with the wind down. You can turn the brightness right down, so it is barely on. If it was for my fear of fire, I’d keep it on. There is a timer setting but not sorted that out yet.
Glowing Room – I love the slow setting in my video but u can adjust to slightly faster, flashing or custom using the diy buttons. I haven’t saved a diy one yet, cba to learn. I’m happy with the defaults 🙂
Cutting to size – NO idea how the strips can be cut and used like, I assume you reconnect them at the ciruit points but didn’t feel comfy attempting, so I just put it up without cutting very slighting bending and leaving the off odd gap to not tear hence the lack of symmetry 😉 who needs it, not me!
Bought these set of LEDs for my daughters bedroom, the adhesive is great but the two reels of lights are different colours, one is a cool white and one is a warm white. Not very obvious when on other colours but very noticeable when on white.
Lesson learnt, check them before sticking to the ceiling.
These are great but when connecting multiple rolls together they can be difficult and can not change to the right colour. You have to keep unplugging and turning round the joiner bits to make them work properly no instructions included
I purchased these for my Daughters room to replace the ones she had before from a different supplier. The red very quickly failed so on the look out for a replacement set.
These are much better. Just the look and feel are miles apart. The app on the phone works well also, but struggles a bit with the music but really this isn’t important. The adhesive is great for sticking to the wall. My daughter is very impressed with these.
I think I’ll grab another set once I’ve sorted out diffusers for the lounge and install them there)
The lights are great and my son loves them. The remote control and colour options work well although you have to aim right at the box where it plugs in to work it but the two strips of lights are really long so they go right round the room and are very easy to fi
Edited to add that I did manage to contact the supplier and they very kindly sent me a replacement strip of lights which so far work very well.
like a smurf red looks like devil green looks like shrek my favourite character the remote control was so useful if you dont have the remote u cant change the colour so thank u
for the remote the lead was black so thought it was a bit racist and control did not have colour black on it only when pressing off button but that was way to dark for my likings than you so very much lots of love sadie xx
It can do all the possible colours in the rainbow, flash, fade, react to music all works really nicely. The backing sticky strip is of soft gel type and very good adhesion with clean surface. I use it on the inside of my 3D printed logos and it stick really well with no accident detachment.
Each wheel have long length of LEDs and they are around 5cm apart, I would love to see them being closer together but since they are bright and have a spread as long as I am 3cm away from any object it does give a nice even lit on any surface.
These strips are not design for twisting or turning sharp angles, there is a 90 degree bend connector and you will have to cut at specific position where there are 4 exposed connectors. You must disconnect power before cutting to avoid short circuit, if you did accidently short circuit do not panic and just unplug it and leave it for over 10s and it should by any luck reset and start again.
They are so easy to install and stick to most surfaces.
With 20 meters I had plenty to cover a large area of her bedroom.
The remote is handy and provides a wide range of colour options and modes but she prefers to use the app as teenagers are never without their phones
The lights are very bright with many colour modes to choose from
The fact that the light flash along to any music shes listeningto gives the lights a fantastic quality. The lights were not the cheapest available but worth every penny! I found with the self adhesive strip over the full length of the light strips I found the item easy to position all the way around my daughters room.
