I did alot of research when deciding which led lamp to buy. I had been using a uv lamp but wanted something quicker to save time. I’m very happy with this lamp. It is easy to set up, has a fairly long cable and is lightweight. I have used it with several brands of nail gel including Mylee, lavender violets and blue-sky. It has always cured my nails completely and quickly. My manicures last me 3 weeks each time with this lamp.
Love this nail lamp ! Really easy to use , compact size and cures my gel polish perfectly – more impressed with it than the last lamp I bought which cost 3 times as much !
Bough this a good while ago, Daughter has been using it extensively every week for her and her sister and friends. hopefully it will continue to last, she likes it and that is all that matte
Really good for the money. Was smaller than expected my old kne u could fit two hands under but this is big enough for one but it does the job and cures gels pretty good.
Bought this for my wife and she’s very pleased, which is always a good thing.
Looks good quality and seems to work well. Good value for the money and easy to use
I’ve used lamps from the company before and they have all been amazing. This one is so lightweight but feels and looks really good quality not cheap. Cures nails beautifully and is very spacious inside so no awkward hand positions. So easy to use, battery is good, and I love the versatility of it, being able to take the bottom off for your feet. Would recommend.
It is such an amazing lamp, lightweight, amazing quality and so easy for on the go. Cures so well. No hot spikes and only thing is with the thick application, it needs to be cured multiple times. So do a thin layer, cure and then a thick
So I’ve been a professional nail technician for 10 years and when working on clients, I would always use the branded lamp of the brand that I used. This normally means that the price is greatly inflated because of branding.
Having recently given up my nail business, I wanted to find a cheap lamp that I could use, just to do my own nails. Luckily the nanometer of this lamp matched what was required by the gel polish brand I use so I decided to give it a go.
The lamp is pretty simple to use. Simply plug it in and it automatically is on and ready to go. There are 4 buttons on top that you can press once your hand is in the light that will do a designated time of 10 seconds, 30 seconds or 60 seconds. There’s also a 99 second timer where by the lights come on at half strength and after about 60 seconds increase to full level which means it’s great for products that are prone to giving a heat spike because it’s slowly starts the curing process.
If you just place your hand in the light, it will count up. I’m not sure how high it goes, but I got just shy of two minutes and it was still counting. There are sensors that sense your hand are going in the light, but it would be nice if you could select the set amount of time that you wanted, put your hand in and then it counted that time down. My previous lamp also beeped when the timer was finished which this one doesn’t, but that’s only trivial.
The light itself isn’t particularly weighty, it does feel quite thin and flimsy compared to the lamp I previously used, so it does move about on the table a bit if the wire is hanging down, but it did an absolutely fantastic job of curing my gel. It’s nice and shiny as it should be, there’s no signs of it, not being cured properly and it’s the fraction of the price of a branded light.
If you are trading to the public, then by insurance requirements, you must use the lamp created for your brand, but for a home user, I recommend this one because it has the correct wavelength and nanometre to cure the majority of gel polishes on the market.
I’m really pleased with it, and it’s simple to pop away back in its box once you’re done until you want to give yourself a new manicure
This is the best nail lamp I have had. Other lamps do not cure the thumbs but this lamp does and in half the time. Definitely worth the money. Love it.
Bought this after my old lamp was on the outs. Love how much easier this is to use!
Perfectly cures gel polish and builder. No need to do thumbs separately
An absolute game changer! Love this lamp. I had so many cheap ones before and I thought there were problem in gels I was buying but with this lamp they work so much better!
always bought cheap lamps before with short cables and now that I’ve tried this I’ll never look back!
I purchased 2 of these for my at home salon. Really good lamps. Plenty of room, so no bumping and ruining the polish, and lots of LEDs. Also, the design is nice, looks aesthetically pleasing, nice rounded shape. The bottom is removable, which is great for curing toenails. The 2x faster curing works really well and cuts down on time quite significantly. The only con is that the power cable could be a little longer.
There is a reason for the huge amount of reviews. 5 stars, drys all fingers including thumbs in record time so very impressed. See how long it lasts but so far so good !
I had a basic small lamp for a couple of years that did the job but this is a 100% upgrade.
I did lots of research and this company kept coming out as one of the best and also great value at the price point.
Since receiving the lamp I have used it twice. Both times cured the nails well, no issues with burning and due to the size no issues with knocking against the sides when putting your hand in and ruining the paint job.
There are plenty of lights so you get a completely cure and is big enough for one hand to be cured at the same time.
Removable bottom allows toes to also be cured but I have not used the lamp for that yet.
The buttons on the top allow for different cure times and has an automatic on as soon as your hand goes in that counts up. The counter is nice and clear to see.
The dual led/uv means you have a huge choice of gel varnish to choose from.
Really pleased with purchase.
I have been using this lamp for a good few months now, cures biab & gel nails, with no heat spike in half the time of my previous lamp. I was looking at one at 3 times the price of this one then realised it was the same manufacturer, I would definitely recommend.
Really pleased with this nail lamp which I’ve been using now for approx 8 months. I do nails for a few of my friends and what I love about this lamp is that there’s no need to press any buttons. You just put your hand in and watch the timer, take out you hand when it reaches 60 seconds – easy! There’s also the option of pressing the 30 or 60 second button if you wish. I also think there are much fewer heat spikes with this lamp too.
I am a nail tech and this is great and easy to use! Cures nails nicely and quickly! Love the low heat setting incase of clients getting heat spile too! Brilliant produc
Nice lamp for drying gel polishes. Done a few manicure and a pedicure so far. Not used for hard gel or biab yet. Bought this because other brands were having same products for higher prices. This one seems to be perfect so far.
I bought this to replace my old lamp which is had 4 years and a few of the bulbs had gone. This lamp cures nails in 30 seconds. No spots of uncured polish! It’s a bit warmer than my old lamp but not in any way uncomfortable. The lamps are incredibly bright and they are really well placed in that they go right down to the part of the lamp closest to the table it’s sitting on so the sides of my little finger and thumbs don’t get missed.
I used to have to wait 1 minute or even 1min 30 seconds for darker colours, once the bulbs blew on my old one and sometimes I’d still have uncured polish in the corners of my nails. I have slim fingers with a high c curve to the nail which can make curing difficult.
It’s saving me so much time and I once again am enjoying doing my nails because it’s so efficient. Well worth the money. If you’re dithering just buy it.
This lamp is great. I’ve had other sunuv lamps before. I trust the brand. It’s nice and wide and has some extra bulbs towards the front for side of thumb curing. Only downside to this lamp is it is not acetone proof. My other sunuv lamps have been. If u get a splash on it it will dull. I used to wipe gel off my other lamps with a bit of acetone with no problem. Now I have to make sure I catch them straight away. But of an under sight with sunuv. That’s my only negative. Shame. Love the visible timer. It counts down on the pre sets except the 99 second one when it counts up !!
Bought this lamp because – even in lockdown – I like my nails to look good. I tried to do my homework well in comparing all the available models and the Sun seems to come out best. I had noticed that my nail technician’s lamp was also a Sun, which gave me added confidence in my purchase.
Its an attractive piece of equipment which seems to work well. I like the added bonus that I can use gel polish or gel build up with this lamp – if I so wished.
I also like – the fact that curing does not take as long as with some lamps.
its size – allowing room for a small hand as well as a much larger one
and can be easily transported when I am away from home.
the fact that the bottom can be removed – either for easy cleaning or for toe curing.
the way the lights are evenly spread around the inside of the lamp for even curing
and the dual temperature curing function.
If there is one negative for me, its that the cable could be longer.
It is a bit more expensive than the rest but, as long as it lasts me a little while, I can cope with that.
I will continue to have my nails done by a professional technician but will find it more than useful if I have to continue to do my own for the foreseeable future, as well as for taking away with me on holiday to deal with any mishaps and to carry out any repairs in between visits.
