Great item – price is competitive covered 3/4 of my son medium sized bedroom. Lots of different settings for the lights (fade on/off, chasing, flashing and also to a music beat) easy to hang, sticks well providing surface is flat and smooth
These ones are actually customisable and do the chasing rainbow effect. Unlike the other budget ones that stay static. And at an affordable price they are your best option. Measure your room and double check how many you will need but all can be set through one app and controlled from anywhere.
I live in a house where the corridor has no natural light and to save on other more expensive light fittings I fitted this round the top of the wall. It looks great especially when I change the colour with the remote control. So easy to install, it just sticks to the surface.
I put this light strip in my lorry and now im the envy of the yard. I love the fact that it can flow and change in time to music that is being played and it creates the perfect light for driving at night keeping you more ale

For less than a tenner I wasn’t expecting much, but these lights work really well. Easy to stick up and the remote works well. Looks awesome under a high sleeper bed.
What’s not to like? I honestly didn’t expect this product to be so good. I’ve previously purchased led light strips that have been a lot more expensive that can’t compare! The quality is amazing, and the features are incredible for the price. Bought these as mood lighting for my campervan, and I’m definitely happy with them! 100% recommend
I was impressed of the LEDs amazing. I purchased 1 more. If you use them in the same room you can control both with 1 remote or with the App. Use the in my man cave and Bar ligh
I ordered these as I brought a different set and made a mistake fitting them so glad I made that mistake. For the price there amazing and you can control them from an app on your phone. I brought 10 meters and there was enough to loop round twice. Finished my project perfectly
I am so pleased with this LED strip that I bought another one, even though I haven’t thought about where I’m going to place it! It is RGBIC, so each LED is independently controlled, unlike the majority of LED strips on the market. Usually you would expect to pay 30+ for RGBIC with a length of 10 metres, so being able to buy this at 10.99 is an absolute bargain.
The strip has adhered nicely to my skirting board, covering the full length of my living room back wall (with excess that I have tucked away). It comes with two ways of powering it: a USB-A port or a standard UK plug.
The remote controller has plenty of options to choose from, with even more to choose on the app. In the day, I select a specific flowing light pattern (cyan and pink) and then at night I use the controller to choose the ‘night’ option (which gives a pale pink/yellow tone). The quality of the flow is phenomenal with no lag, and would suit anybody looking to spice up their room.
10/10. I would strongly recommend this to anybody looking for an extremely well-priced LED strip. I will likely buy a few more of these for the rest of the rooms in my house, as the price is hard to beat for the quality.
Bonus tip: Power the strip using the plug, plugged into an Alexa-enabled Smart plug, so you can ask Alexa to turn the strip on and off using your voice.
I bought two of these. One to go round the back of my little sideboard to give some mood lighting to the back wall of my living room. I’ve just fitted it, plugged it in, downloaded the app, and it works perfectly. I haven’t put the other one on the back of my TV yet, but so far, so good.
Easy to install and to set up. Just what I wanted to brighten up the dark side of the room lol
These are the best lights ever! Thanks to the IC chip, they are capable of hundreds of different combinations/sequences. They link easily to my WiFi on my phone use the app, the remote control is nice and big, the delivery was fast and they are easy to stuck up. Very happy indeed.
These are fantastic for just 11 ! I imagine if you used them 24/7 they may not last long (as with anything you get what you pay for), but for occasional use in a room, they’re brilliant. The app is very well thought out and effective.
One thing I would say though is, where the cable/flex joins the LED strip, do not be tempted to squash or bend where the two things meet – not even a little bit. One of the sets I purchased did not work and upon inspection, the 3 wires had been soldered very close together and with no insulation covering them, 2 of the contacts had touched and shorted/ruined the set. Really the soldered contacts should be insulated to prevent this happening. Otherwise they are great.
The best lights are the ones that each LED can have its colour individually controlled -= which are called either RGBIC or “dreamcolor” LEDs. But the best are hard to identify because many sets that arent RGBIC pretend to be so by calling themselves “smart” (which merely means they can be controlled by an app &/or are “Alexa” compliant) and they ALL have pictures which imply that their lights can all be different colours simultaneously, which MOST of them cant.
And just to make it even more complicated occasionally you get sets of lights that –
1. ARE RGBIC but don’t actually say that they are.
2. say they’re RGBIC but in fact theyre not individually addressable but say, each 6 or 8 lights along the line must always be the same colour – a sort of “halfway house”, but nowhere near half as good, or
3. say they’re RGBIC but have really useless lighting patterns to choose from and may as well not be RBGIC.
But these are genuine RGBIC and have loads of cool patterns to choose from on the remote, and an excellent app with many more.
Where they are a let-down are the music-reactive patterns which are rather lame to be honest, and these guys really need to check out the top of class LEPRO dreamcolor ones for some inspiration, altho they are 2x to 3x more expensive.
The other negatives of these lights are that they arent rainproof if your looking for outdoors use, and they dont do any of this type longer than 10m (maybe they will soon – but at this giveaway price that can be forgiven) – the LEPRO ones I mentioned ARE rainproof for outdoor use and DO go up to 15m & 20m, so if u can afford more forget the Govee ones (theyre usually good, but always well overpriced for what they are) the LEPROs are the premium ones to go for – the only downside with their lights is that they only operate via remote, they dont have an app unfortunately (altho personally I find remote control is the more essential feature, and Govee tend to be app-only and rarely seem to bother with the expense of a remote with their overpriced kits these days, making them even more of a rip-off IMHO).
If you’re looking for wired xmas tree-style lights then my recommendation is the 20m Houhoi ones which are also better than many 40-50+ kits, and far far better than their giveaway price of c15 suggests.
Best RGBIC lights of all (to date) IMHO were the 15m Megulla wired lights – great light patterns, brilliant music-syncs too, and they were even rainproof for outdoors and had an app control too all at a bargain price, but sadly they rapidly sold out & vanished from sale last summer (2022) to be replaced by inferior models.
Very cheap but works quite well. Isnt the brighest compared to normal led strips but this is rgb Ic so it is a nice tradeoff. If they added more leds on the strip and increased the price I would definitely buy those ones.

A lot of option of lighting to chose from however could do with a few more modes with different colours but it’s on the cheaper side so makes sense. The adhesive is very good and is able to restick after taking down once

Not enough brackets for the length of the light strip and they didn’t stick well to stone walls .. little bit of glue was required and held up with sticky tape till glue set look good now that they are set up tho
