The colour balance is great for homes: white enough for clarity and detail, warm enough for a “homely feel”. Bright with lots of light. Smoothly dimmable with modern dimmers (an old – 10+ years – dimmer gave flickering). Highly recommended.

Do not be deceived by the F energy efficiency rating. These are way more efficient than the old halogen bulbs. The ratings have been altered to reflect the increasing energy efficiency of light bulbs in general.

They are also more efficient than some other GU10 bulbs I have just reviewed. They require only 4.7W power input to create the equivalent of a 50W halogen light. The other ones I just reviewed required a 7W input and were not that much cheaper to buy!

very happy with purchase. these dim smoothly to a lovely warm white colour. the design of the bulbs are good as they don’t have annoying ridges like some others, which make replacing them much easier (they don’t get stuck on the clamps).

These were standard bulbs for a spot light, They were easy to use and with 10 in the pack, they will give months if not years worth of lighting before buying more.

    Review from my husband:

These are very reasonably priced gu10 bulbs and they are suitable for many applications around the house such as bathrooms, kitchens etc. They throw out a warm white light which is suitable maybe for a living area instead of a kitchen where you would want a more intense beam, but I have them in my kitchen and they’re adequate. It’s a pack of ten so that works out at about 1.80 each which is fantastically priced. At my local Morrisons daily, a single gu10 is a fiver, so go figure, I reckon they might not last as long but time will tell. Plus though, they are dimmable and most of these gu10s are not, so that’s a great selling point. 4/5, can’t really moan at this price.

This box of LED bulb is well packaged and arrived without damaged. They are easy to install and the light emitted is soft warm white, without any flicker or glare so far, can be adjustable but need with adjustment switches. In my opinion it’s wise decision to replace the traditional halogen bulbs with these LED bulbs which really saves money.

These let off a nice warm white light – and are perfect for my small ish kitchen.
I don’t have a dimmer in there so can’t comment on that.
Led are cheaper than halogen to run – and being a 10 pack (my kitchen light only takes 4) these will last me a long time, a good price for a 10 pack.
So far so good and been using them a couple of weeks now.

Hi a good value pack of gu10 leds, they are a warm colour and still very bright, we don’t have dimmers to use the dimmable function, but we’re happy with the light from it the way it is

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice warm colou

his is a set of 10 gu10 led bulbs, they’re 4.7w (50w equivalent) 345 lumen, 3000k warm white, ordered it for a new ceiling spot light bar

they’re well made, very easy to install, fit perfectly to gu10 socket

they’re bright, feeling like the colour is cooler than 3000k, probably 3500k to 4000k? anyway, it’s still soft and comfortable light colour

also it works well with dimmable switch, can make the most suitable environment i need easily

all in all, i’m satisfied with this product, would recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars comfortable colour, dimmable

Packed well and no breakages on arrival.
Fitted my lamp holders perfectly with no wobble once installed.
States that these lamps are the equivalent of 50 watts and can confirm they are as bright as the 50 watt halogens lamps they have replaced (maybe a bit brighter).
The colour is a very nice warm white, not to yellow and no to cold white, just right in my opinion.
As for longevity of use, well time will tell but seam ok so far.
    Well worth the price.

The Ledivion GU10 LED Bulbs Dimmable, Warm White 3000K, 4.7W LED Spotlight Bulb comes as a set of 10 bulbs, packed in a small box.
The bulbs are separated to avoid damage.
There is also a short instruction manual attached.

I like the way these bulbs were packed. The box takes up almost half the space of my old set of 10 bulbs…
The bulbs are very lightweight and easy to install.
The 3000K warm light is more natural to the human eye than popular white/cold white alternatives.
A useful feature is that you can dim them when you need to.

The bulbs, despite being LED, are not energy efficient, with an efficiency rating of “F” !!!
That is probably the biggest downside for me, but I give them a chance and see, how long they will last.
The main point of swapping your halogen lights for LEDs is to save energy – in this case, I’m not sure if it will work that way…

If not for the poor energy efficiency, I would give them 5 stars, but I simply can’t.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice warm light, but poor "F" rating.

Light bulb review time! They light up my life! Right…ok….I can’t comment on longevity yet naturally….The build quality seems top notch though…& I don’t just say this lightly..I’ve had lesser known bulbs before where the metal was so flimsy you could bend it…anyway!….I had one of these running alongside another make…both claiming to be 3000k colour temp. These were on the warmer/yellow side though. & I think the description for these were more accurate. 10 pack at 18 quid (at current time) is excellent value @ 1.80 per bulb. I remember when bayonet led bulbs first came out…the price was eye watering! 1.80 per bulb that (hopefully) should last a few years.

I currently have similar bulbs installed in oir smallish kitchen which are rated at 3W…they are bright enough….these at 4.7W will give that extra boost for larger rooms…I’ve yet to install a dimmer switch applicable to these so can’t comment on their dimmable properties….but it’s an added bonus…esp given the price.

For their dimming aspects you’ll be looking at having an LED dimmer switch classed as trailing edge.. which superceded leading edge….Not hard to find nor googling difference. My dimmer switch is a
Varilight JQP401W V-Pro. You can actually set this to three different modes…The default being trailing edge…then a choice of leading edge & an alternative to trailing edge…It’s a good model for finding the best mode for your bulbs if they’re not playing ball. It’s not always the bulb that’s faulty but compatibility with your dimmer.

The energy efficiency rating of F may seem poor unless you know the reason why so let’s clear this up…..The energy efficiency markings were revised in March 2021….whereas A+ to A+++ were ditched…it’s now just A to G…..These bulbs are now rated as F..which means their EEI (energy efficiency index)…is between 65 to 80 percent..but what does F mean in the old ratings?…..A+!!! People not realising the energy ratings have changed..are now seeing what they believe as being low scores which under the old system were high scores….It was all changed due to more appliances meeting the A targets….don’t quote me on that….You’re welcome.

As they are 4.7W they can save power, but what I have in there are 3.8Watts and can’t really tell what’s better in terms of brightness. These are decent don’t get me wrong but I think the energy saving could be better for the light source. They are warm white, they set a nice colour tone for the room. All in all they all worked fine for me. They do fit dimmable sockets, they didn’t flicker, and they use the larger pins to connect, if you have MR16 socket instead you need to get that MR16 bulbs, the GU10 are for the larger bolt connections, when fitted they plug in and twist to close.

When checking what bulbs you have switch the lights off and use a torch, make sure nobody turns the ligihts on when your fitting new ones in or checking, you can tell which is what, the bulbs that twist in are MU10’s and the 2 thin sharp pins are the MR16’s. These ones fit on dimmable sockets, which let you dim the lights brightness up or down.

I’m not a connoisseur of LED bulbs and so long as they work and last a long time I’m pleased. These are dimmable but what I liked most about them was a useful small information sheet that explained that LED bulbs require a different type of dimmer switch to halogen or incandescent bulbs that I was wholly unaware of (you need a trailing edge not leading edge type).

The bulbs are individually boxed within a box like some LED bulbs are but all arrived intact nonetheless. The only thing I would have preferred would have been packing in multiples of 3 such as 3, 6 or 9, as all my LED light units are triple lamp units.
