This is a cute little Lego set, which features a small police vehicle and includes one little policeman mini figure.
The kit comes with instructions for building, which are easy to follow, but may be tricky for a younger person, as the kit says it is suitable for age 5+. Younger builders may require some support to follow the guide to complete the build.
The car is roughly 11cms long by 2.5 cms wide and the minifigure will fit inside the car.
This Lego set was reasonably easy to assemble and was done in about 15 minutes with the “help” of my 4 year old .
The instructions are easy to follow.
You get a good toy car and police officer afterwards.
A child can play with the car, drive it around etc, which is good.

Small Lego set in police theme. The car is a bit of a boxy shape — very much like something a younger child would appreciate — however, for a 5-year-old it is pushing it in terms of the limits of the more simplistic design and I would suggest an ‘older’ 5-year-old might find the set to babyish.
The car is easy to build and provides many hours of playtime, so provides good value for money. There is also a mini-figure included, so you won’t need to buy anything else to add to the set.
Overall, a good entry-level Lego set that should appeal to younger children.

This Lego City police car is fantastic. The level of detail is jawdropping and it’s so easy to build – I made it in just under 20 minutes. Comprising 94 pieces, some of them quite small, Lego states that it is suitable for ages 5 and over and no doubt a 5 year old could build it quicker than me.
With working wheels, you can patrol the streets in your Lego police car and the build is so robust it doesn’t even fall to pieces when you crash. The police officer fits inside the car and comes complete with a cap and torch for traffic stops.
The kit is well worth 8.99 and I had so much fun building and playing with it. I am a total lego convert – it’s like a 3D jigsaw with working parts. I love this kit and think it is a great addition to my Lego collection.
This entry level Lego city police set is a great little gift. The car is very easy to build and looks the part with features like bull bars and a raised supercharged engine (although some of the boxiness doesn’t look quite right to me). You get a generic policeman mini figure to drive it and as a bonus play feature, the little door mounted flashlight can be detached and held by the minifigure.
Personally I don’t care too much for the boxy look of this car and actually prefer the previous equivalent police car set (I think from the sky police range a year or two back). My two sons both own the older version of this set and each of us prefer the sporty look over this American style muscle car.
Overall though, you can’t go far wrong with a set like this under 10. It is a perfect pocket money purchase or small reward gift. I recommend looking out for these small Lego sets in sales too, I have picked many of them up for 5 or 6.
Bought this for my grandson. Was a little difficult for his age I thought but we enjoyed building it together. Very sturdy and I feel he’ll get many hours of enjoyment with it.
I recently built Lego City 60320 Set and this 60312 Lego City Police Car is just goes well with it. It simply is an add on to the Firestation set to make the story line more complete. Of course, the best will be adding on a police station too which is my next target. The instruction is very clear as usual and only takes me 15 min to build it. The bricks are well made and it can tear apart to make your own item when you no longer need to police car anymore. This is the beauty of lego and you will never feel bored on it.
