Brilliant little Lego set! A fun diving theme with the main very cool boat and detachable little mini-submarine and love all the sea creatures you get with it including the shark, a cute crab, turtles, the manta ray and little fish with a fun diving spot with the treasure chests too. Really fun little set and great value so would 100% recommend.
This has been a bundle of joy to build and play with my kids with. It has brought a smile to all of our faces in this Lego mad household 🙂
It’s a very well crafted set of the highest quality, as you would expect coming from Lego. Perfect for all the family, fun for all.
I am a big ocean lover. This Lego kit is absolutely delightful and very appealing to lovers of fish and the ocean. The ocean creatures like the shark are so so awesome. There’s even a treasure chest!!!!!! My niece and nephew LOVE treasure chests. This is a great set for imaginative play, whether it’s a turtle rescue mission, an under the sea sight seeing adventure or a treasure hunt there’s so much imaginative fun to be had with this awesome set. What a delight, Lego never fail to impress!
I think this is one of my favourite builds that I’ve helped my daughter put together as it’s so different to any other Lego sets she’s had before.
As with all Lego sets you get the usual numbered bags of bricks along with the easy to follow build manual and in this set you get to build an Explorer Dive boat from Lego’s City range. The boat includes a winch that you can use to lower the included mini submarine and you also get 3 mini figures, two of which are divers, a shark, a manta ray and some other sea creatures along with a little under water reef display that includes a treasure chest.
The build experience is great to share with a young child and then afterwards it’s wonderful to see them play for hours and let their imagination go wild. My daughter loves to play with this in her inflatable pool outside when the weather permits or the bath when it doesn’t.
The prices at the time of review is 24.99 which for Lego is about what you’d expect and isn’t too bad considering the amount of fun this provides. Overall I highly recommend this Lego set.
The LEGO City Explorer Diving Boat Toy is a great set that will bring hours of fun and adventure for kids aged 5 and above. The set comes with a mini-submarine, shark, crab, turtle, manta ray, and sea animal figures, as well as 11 underwater accessories, making it an ideal set for exploring the depths of the ocean.
My kids had a blast building the boat and mini-submarine and then playing with it. The mini-submarine was their favorite part, as they could use it to explore the depths of the sea and find all the amazing creatures that live there. The shark and manta ray figures are very detailed and realistic, and the other sea animals add to the action and adventure.
The set is very easy to build and comes with a great set of instructions. Once the set is built, the fun really begins. My kids had a great time creating stories and adventures with their new diving boat. They spent hours imagining that they were deep-sea explorers and discovering all sorts of amazing creatures and treasures.
Highly recommended!
LEGO 60377 City Explorer Diving Boat Toy with Mini-Submarine
A great new addition to the Lego City range.
Comes with clear, coloured instructions.
Suitable for age 5+
It comes with submarine, 3 figures, coral reef, shark and fish.
A lovely lego set, can be added to the other City Explorer sets or played on its own.
This is a lego set for age 5 year plus which i would say was accurate.
My daughter who is seven found it really easy to follow the instruction booklet.
It’s a fun lego set with a boat and some sea creatures.
This is a great City Lego set. It comes with a cool boat as well as some cute sea creatures. This is a smaller Lego set and it’s fairly easy to build so it’s great for kids.
A really cool kit from the Lego City range. There are lots of parts to it including sea creatures and minfigures. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s a great kit for both putting on display or for kids to play with. Lots for the imagination to run wild with too!
his is the lego explorer diving boat play set from the lego city series, besides the diving boat it also features a mini submarine, couple of sea creatures, a mini undersea scene, and 3 mini figures (1 girl captain, 2 divers)
there are 182 pieces in the set, not a big set, instruction booklets are clear, my kids can finish it in about an hour
special thing about this playset is that the boat base is a single piece, it can actually float, a lego set that kids can play it in the pool
i’m very satisfied with this product, would recommend
Lego set 60377 city explorer diving boat. Another great lego city play set, that any fan will love. The set comes in a colourful box, showing you a picture of the completed model on the front and back. You get to make a a diving boat, mini submarineand coral reef setting. The set includes 3 mini figures, the boats captain and 2 divers. You also get sea animal figures; manta Ray, hammerhead shark, crab, 2 fish and 2 turtles. Inside everything is contained in bags, you can locate each piece easily and follow each part in the correct order. The instruction manual is well illustrated, with clear images that are easy to understand and follow, with each piece being recognisable. You can use the lego builder app to follow onscreen instruction and view and rotate the model. The set contains 182 pieces. A fairly simple, easy make and then hours of play after. Take out the diving boat, release the submarine you can explore the coral reef, film and capture the sea animals and find the lost treasure chest and ships wheel. Theres nothing to dislike about the set. Perfect addition for the lego city fan. Brilliant quality as expected.
One of my youngest is bonkers about the ocean and anything associated so I got this as I knew he’d love it. He is just under 4 so his elder brother built it for him and I think he enjoyed it more than his siblings lol. It took him approx 20-30mins to build.
It is a really nice set with a submarine, 3 figures, a shark, sting ray, mummy and baby turtles, and an underwater display that includes some lost treasure and a ship’s wheel. Naturally, with Lego, attention to detail is ace and the kids are fascinated by it.
This set costs 24.99 at the time of this review, which I think is about average for a Lego product. It’s an obvious hit with the kids so it’s the full marks from me.
This is a bice set, not too many pieces and a good fine-motor skills for the age range to complete with minimal help. There is a very detailled instruction booklet to follow step by step and in yhe end you get a cool divers set & boat including hammer head shark and accessories. For 24 (at the time of reviewing) this is a really good value set from the Lego range.
Lovely Lego City set as per usual. My 4.5 year old can do this no problem. The instructions are straightforward and everything is nicely bagged.
The actual playing of the Lego is nice. The colours are all bright and there’s the characters and sea animals and the boat to use for various play. This one is a form winner in our family.
This is one of the first Lego City kits I have has to build and it is one of the smaller, more affordable ones with only 182 parts. The ship is easy to build by following the excellent instructions provided. It is also a relatively quick build because of the smaller size and simple instructions.
As to be expected with Lego, all the parts are well moulded and fit together perfectly, with the extra mini figures adding to the underwater scene
My only concern would be the age limit of 5+. Whilst a 5-year-old should be fine making this, there are some small parts, so adult supervision may be required for the younger builders.
What I liked most about this set was the sea creatures (though maybe the hammer head shark could have been bigger!). The young person that put the set together liked the boat (the hull was a single piece) and the crane/jib at the back of the boat.
The set came in 3 parts each with its own build booklet which means you can spread the build into 3 sessions which I think is better than earlier builds where you had a single massive build booklet. So if you are a parent helping/supervising I think this works well.
So, everything to like and maybe just a bigger shark one day.
Very nice boat set with cool deatils.
My son said it was his favourite gift for birthday.
A pretty standard Lego set
I like the design and think it looks like it could be fun
Seems ok to do for an adult or older kit. Younger children sill need help I think
Instructions were pretty standard for Lego sets I think
Lego is such a great thing to play with for both young and old. This is a set of a City explorer diving boat with a mini-submarine, a shark, crab, turtle, manta ray and sea animal figures for ages 5 and upwards. It is a great toy to build and then to play with afterwards. The lego comes in bags with clear instructions on how to build. As you would expect from lego this is packaged well, and very well made. Great for lego fans young and old. This is such a great set that is currently priced at 24.99 which I think is reasonable. Would make a great present.
Lego city series diving boat, easy for the younger lego fan to construct. It floats on water when made, comes with both sea creatures and three mini figures. Easy to follow illustrated instructions, this set fits in well with both lego city but also the friends sea rescue set.
Another great set from Lego
Love the details to this smallish over/under water set. The dive boat (which is excellent) is meant to be the main attraction, but my little nephew is probably happiest with the sea creatures – in particular the parent and child turtles. It’s nice too that the set includes less usual creatures in the shape of the ray and hammerhead shark.
The diver and skipper minifigs have nicely individual facial details – and the inclusion of three characters is great. The presence of a ship’s wheel, a treasure chest, gold coins, and a golden goblet are just enough to hint at the wreckage of a pirate ship – so this captures imagination nicely.
At four and a half my nephew is a bit younger than the recommended 5+ age group, but he’s been using Lego for a while and made it through with help. The 182 pieces aren’t too much for younger builders, and the set has a good balance of generally smaller builds.
My son built it today loved it
it is a nice little set looks cool and he was able to build it no problem
if any problem dad came in for the rescue to make sure to align it properly.
My son loves the arctic exploration series sets and we will for sure get more of this series
Got this for my 4 year old son and even though is saying it’s suitable from 6+ he was easily build this set by himself. He love lego and it was real pleasure for him. He love the small details in this set like treasure chest with coins. Great lego set, perfect for Christmas gift or birthday present.
Great quality and value for money. Highly recommended
This is an ideal set for new builders or to add to other city explorer sets. Its broken down into three bags with the three build parts. As with other sets for younger builders the instructions highlight the build sections to make it easier and the are steps broken down more.
Its got some new pieces I haven’t seen before and bricks are printed which is important if you place it in water. The boat does float, not very stable as is a little back end heavy but will float which adds to the playability. It includes 4 marine animals including a turtle and baby which I haven’t seen before.
Its not a big build and price per piece is a little high, but the set does include some new parts and printed parts. Its good from a playability perspective, and my daughter has combined with an older boat set.
Lego City is one of those themes that keeps on delivering new sets year after year. This one is on the edge of the city, with the ability to head out on a boat.
In terms of product quality, this delivers all that I would expect from Lego. Well written instructions, pieces that look like they will stand up to a decent amount of use and that fit together solidly.
This boat was a relatively speedy build, though had a good variety of different techniques and pieces too. There’s 3 minifigures plus a shark, the boat and crane are moveable and the parts of the boat go together with the accessories which gives plenty to play with. It also matches nicely the larger boat and submarines available in the range.
While I don’t believe this is the first time we’ve seen a boat like this in the city range this latest one is definitely a welcome addition.
We have a wide collection of Lego city builds in out house. This is another good and affordable set. Insider you get a lego inflatable toy boat with a working crane, mini-submarine toy, a coral reef setting and a treasure chest. There are 3 minifigures – the boat’s captain and 2 LEGO diver minifigures, plus a manta ray, hammerhead LEGO shark, crab, 2 fish and 2 turtle sea animal figures. It was fun to build with numbered bags to make it easier and full colour step by step instructions. I never tried the lego building app with this but its on there if you want that interaction when building. Ideal for little ones as its a simple build.
Quick build little set from the Lego City Range, I say quick build even though it does consist of 182 pieces.
Instructions as always from lego are super easy to follow along with and even using the app to assist the build of this it’s just perfect making even easier now to assemble for younger ones as it is age rated for 5+ within this set there is included extras which are the Diver, Stingray, Hammerhead shark, 2 Fish and 2 Turtles with a nice little coral based treasure chest for the diving experience.
Brilliant little set that has plenty of opportunity to let kids imaginations just go wild with and I’d highly recommend this little set.
