I recently purchased this LEGO toy car for my child, and I have been absolutely blown away by the sheer joy and creativity it has brought into our home. This toy car is not just a simple build; it’s a gateway to a world of imaginative play and endless possibilities.
The construction process was not only entertaining but also a wonderful bonding experience for my child and me. The clear instructions made it easy for us to put together each piece, and the attention to detail in the design truly impressed me. The set includes various specialized parts that mimic the intricacies of a real car, which provided an educational aspect to the playtime.
This is one of the 2022 Lego Speed Champions series. It’s a great build with some interesting Lego building techniques on the way. The main car is 8 studs wide, but the rear section over the wheels is actually nine studs wide and that really sets this model apart from many of the others. I recommend this to any Speed Champions enthusiast.
I bought this and the countach together, I initially thought I ordered the James Bond speed champions set instead of this but I’m happy that I ended up with it. This build included some exquisite building techniques that I’ve never seen in any set let alone such a small set like this. This set proves why the move to 8 studs wide was revolutionary for these models to look like their bigger and real counterparts. Great option for display or play.
There were a couple of times during the building process that I had to take the model apart and go back a few steps because the instructions weren’t 100% clear, but it was worth it as it’s a lovely model. The Ferrari emblem on some of the blocks is a nice touch.
Partner hasn’t built this yet as it is a gift, luckily the item came in good condition – although it was sent in a paper bag and not a box.
I’m sure it will be another excellent Lego purchase 🙂
I love Lego and the speed champion sets are great, if you like building Lego, you’ll love this set, it’s not a build what you want like I did as a kid, but you end up with a Ferrari 512 M model, not just a brick car, I thoroughly enjoyed building it.
A nice addition to my collection of Speed Champion cars. I do like the latest Speed Champion cars, they feel a lot more “chunky”! There are not too many stickers in this model which I am pleased about!
Absolutely loved this model. Big fan of the Speed Champions series of Lego, and this model is easily top 5. It’s a great little build, not too many stickers, and some great techniques. The end result is fantastic as well, some of the Speed Champions struggle to look like their real life counterparts, but this model is really awesome. Good job Lego.
