Used these to illuminate my gate posts. They arrived on time and I managed to put them outside for a couple of hours each day to charge and turn them off before dark so that when I came to fit them they were fully charged and are working a treat.
Put these either side of the driveway wall as a guide during the darker weather.
Took sometime to charge fully, but I did fit them during a particularly cloudy month. Following the summer sun they are excellent, fully charged and light the drive for most of the night.
Look good and work really well, coming on as the sky darkens and lighting my path just enough to take the dog out for late night toileting. Remains to be seen how useful they are in winter.
Installed at the end of October but there’s been enough light to charge up. Light isn’t bright but then we didn’t want them too bright (in respect of our neighbours). Really easy to install – just two screws. Pleased with purchase so far.
Easy to fit to any wall or fence …brightness is as I required and stated in the product description ..a subtle golden glow …only negative would be the black case on the front is a snap over fitting and I found when fitting the thin plastic piece becomes dislodged ,(OK if your not up a ladder )and a fiddle to replace….
