Needed to provide power for my sky router and other mains powered items also need to provide usb power for a Tado bridge and an eithernet switch this did extension lead did it all, a neat solutio
This I great beside my bed, I can power my lamp, my house phone and fan, I can also power my iPad, my watch and phone.
Only downside there is a tiny bright blue light that shines under the bed, but this was solved by placing some tape over it.
ice and compact layout with plenty of USB sockets and an overall on/off switch.
only thing to be aware of is the direction of the sockets means that the plugs will face each other.
in come cases this means you won’t be able to use the socket opposite if your plug has a cable at the top of it.
It’s good quality and its less bulky than a lot of the other extension leads but has plenty of socket and usb options to cover most needs. Good flexible bendy cable, which makes it easier more versatile to use than most.
Has charging light so you know when it’s active. 3 M cable covers most needs and coils up easily if not needed. Not the cheapest out there but still good value and much better quality.
That shape is the reason I got this and I’m very happy with it. The ease of access to all ports and sockets is very handy, I particularly like that it has the type c port. It seems well made and strong
Perfect modern multi-way with usb’s and usb c connectors on the side plus convenient on off switch for the block, screw mounted to wall with ease, lovely braided cable and modern plastic moulding gives it a superior aesthetic and upgrade to traditional multi way plugs and extensions. Will buy more when I need replace others etc
Very good product, fast delivery, wire little short for what I need but does the job for now. I should have measured before purchasing, other than that good quality product.
Good quality item. Has nice holes on the back for wall mounting. It would be nice if it had X shaped holes so can be orientation different ways depending on cable side.
Build in USB is well placed and worked well, little slow as not fast charge but does the job.
Good product, the on/off switch on the unit is either mounted incorrectly or wired incorrectly. The product works well apart from that and I am well pleased and ordered a second unit.
I travel a fair bit and often find myself setting up two – three laptops, second monitor, ipads, mobile phones etc. This power strip is slim enough to fit into the laptop bag and because it has the usb ports I don’t need separate usb chargers. The cable is soft and coils up nicely.
Living in an old house has it’s challenges especially where plug socket locations are involved. Rewiring the house is on my list but not happing just yet. So this extension lead is perfect to run from an existing socket to the side of the room that is devoid of sockets but is the perfect location for my electrical equipment (computer, printer, wifi). I love that you can put it on the wall just like a normal socket and it is out of the way and tidy. It also has its own switch to turn it on and off without the need to scramble behind furniture to turn it off at the power supply it’s connected to. I can also charge my phone, keyboard and mouse when my computer is not on. Perfect!
We’ve mounted it on the wall, and have an assortment of leads coming from it. The mix of USB-A and 3-pin mains sockets means that we can use non-USB chargers alongside an array of different USB charging cables. It gets fairly warm when it’s reasonably well loaded charging e.g. an iPad and a phone together, but never so hot that you’d be worried about it. I wouldn’t be inclined to push it to its limits as I’m sure that will have an impact on the lifespan of it. It’s a nice tidy unit, and the ability to hang it on the wall is a great job. We actually got a small floating shelf to mount beside it so we can have a charging station behind the office door (a very out-of-the-way place that wasn’t really being used. The open office door means that the clutter of wires is out of sight, and we’re using some space that was otherwise idle.
This was the perfect item for my needs. I required an extension lead to fit along the wall, fit under the small gap under my bed and stretch from the top of the bed to the base of my bed and beyond just a small bit to where I was putting my new TV stand. This was just to keep the cable out of sight to be fair as I hate seeing cables everywhere. This looked thin in the photo and the ones I had already were too chunky to fit underneath and the cables far too short.
When this arrived I was impressed at its thin body and sturdy looking braided cable. It fit under perfectly which allowed me to feed it right along the wall, under the bed to the TV stand absolutely perfectly it was incredibly satisfying what little in the way of margins I had to spare. There was also barely any sign of the extension which is what I wanted.
Also at the time I required 2 plugs to be fitted from the top end and 2 from the bottom end so I specifically looked for a product that allowed for plugs to be fitted from either end to avoid cable stain from twisting a plug 180. Having changed set-up since, this isn’t required anymore but having the option still wins it points in my book.
Also being able to charge my gadgets/devices without taking up sockets was another win in a room whe re mm b b only 4 plug sockets have the mighty task of paying a lot of gadgets, and safely too. No attaching an extender to an extender for me thanks Prior to this I had every socket with a multi adapters fitted, and 2 with long 5 and 6 plug extender and it still wasn’t enough. This allowed me to finally have to the capability to have a place to plug/charge almost everything I wanted in a centralised hub. I made a ‘charging station’ of sorts for my lower watt gadgets such as my headphones, smartwatch, my wireless buds and my wireless charging pad. Over at my desk I retained space on my other extension cable for my laptop charger and my 25w super fast charger. To charge these properly I required a plug point as the USB charging ports on this are unable of charging at the required wattage.
Equivalent to what would have been 8 plugs this cleared up space at my extension cable for my desk so that for the first time ever, everything that required a charger had a permanent socket for the first time ever. I was able to do away with the charging bricks for the ones on this extension cable and keep this hidden away under the TV stand at the bottom of my bed which has helped with cable management and keeping cables hidden which is something that is important to me as I love uncluttered and minimalist looking living spaces.
Because the USB ports are located on the side and not the top, the cables can be plugged in flat and flush with the floor and this allowed me to hide the extra lengths of cable underneath the stand and only take it what I needed.
The only thing I suspect you’d need to be cautious of if doing something similar to myself would be ensuring there’s enough space around the device (not squashed from above or pushed up against something directly at the sides) as this could cause it to overheat and potentially worse especially if drawing power from all available plugs and ports. Also regularly cleaning it of dust is a must if located in an area prone to dust such as where I have located mine.
Overall its top marks. It literally did everything I had hoped and more.
