Have a set of these running along our back fence for a few years now. They are connected to a timer plug.
They work very well as accent lighting and look pretty. The first set was up for two full years but the light started to fade just because the plastic was turning white and opaque.
The second set has been up for a year now and the plastic has turned white a fair bit, but nothing that makes much difference to the light output.
Bought these lights to hang up in a air tent. Perfect for the task and they give off enough light to see around the tent in the dark (electric hook up needed). Will definitely buy another set for more lighting.
eally good product, arrived very promptly and well packaged to keep the lights safe. Goes completely around a very tall tree and looks stunning. Bright white lights but not stark so really highlights to shape of the tree. will certainly be purchasing more to add using the connector. If they last as long as our old ones we will be very happy customers.
Had them for a while, no discolouration yet like some others we had. Nice and weatherproof. You can’t daisy chain more than 2 though. Well you can, but you notice insufficient power and gradually dims further down the chain by the time you’ve added 3, you can see 3 different brightness levels.
I used these to replace the lights on Christmas reindeers I only needed 8.5 Mtrs but didn’t risk cutting so managed to hide the spare on the reindeer. They look great, earned loads of browny points
As the headline says…these lights have a very good illumination compared with some other rubbish which is available and my wife and I have tried…even on very dark nights they allow us to move around our garden without having much difficulty seeing the ground…they are easily extended using the end connector…we will be buying anther two sets in due course…
Only issue I’d say is make an extension to the cable going from plus to lights
It’s fine if your socket is near to where you want lights to start but if you say 3 meters away it gets tricky and you then need to use an outside extension lead
No remote control. Top quality but this is the first season with them up. The plug to the first light is a bit short, so if displaying outside you need to think about tha
I did have a problem with the original purchase but having contacted the supplier they immediately offered a free replacement, which is good as the light is nice and bright. Awaiting delivery of replacement.
I love that it’s waterproof it would have been better if I could turn it off on the plug instead of unplugging it but that’s a small design bump. overall it’s fantastic a good thickness and looks brill. I’m so pleased I think I’ll need to buy more in the future
