I purchased this during black friday and stored it away until the half term holidays (approximately 2 months), to find out when unpacked that the batteries inside have leaked all inside the battery box took a lot of effort to get them cleaned .. I would have returned it if not too late, but my little one was so excited I didn’t bother to deal with the return. I personally found it hard to use but hey may be I was wrong as my 4.5 year old loved it, so all good for now
Sturdy and withstood our heavy handed 4 year old banging on it for hours. He loves it and the sound can be turned down. It comes with a nice case to store it in.
Kids love this! It’s so easy to use and sooo much fun! It doesn’t go too loud so isn’t as noisy as you might expect. It’s sturdy and looks great.
Have not tried it yet as it is a gift but have to say that it came in fast and looks super cool even in the box so I am sure the kids will be impressed and can review more once layed with
If you want a noisy toy this is definitely the toy you are looking for – I’m so glad we have a out door play room, just feel sorry for my neighbours.

Comes complete with batteries, the box doubles up as a case with its Velcro fasting, you will never lose the drum sticks as they can be stored in the base of the drum.
There are many functions but I would say to many for a child, you can connect via a Bluetooth device but yet again I’m not sure if this is really needed for this toy.
The quality is very good, the sound is very loud (Thank god for the volume button) its a very large toy so will take up a lot of space and quite heavy.
I can see this being a toy that really annoys you and may end up in the charity bag in a few weeks.
I never managed to become a rock start when I was young, but I can make a Rockstar from my son just by giving this toy to play with. And you know what? He loves this toy. I can’t believe how much his interest of the music grew since he got this drum kit.
The packaging looks like a carrying case which is a super idea, I asked my son to put the drum away in it each time he finished playing . Oh, excuse me jamming. The set require 3 AAA battery which was provided in the box. The drum set has 2 cymbals, 2 snare and a Tam-tam I believe, and two drumsticks. Compare to how small is the kit (40cm x 25cm) and the speaker, it’s pretty laude. The drum sounds effects are super clear and realistic. The drumstick is little bit too thick I think but he can hold it in his hand with no problem. It has a small control panel with few volumes button to control the volume of the drum sound and the background music. Featured with some cool things like choosing between ‘Play with the band’, ‘Free play’, ‘Solo jam’ and ‘Play any song’ modes. The best feature is the Bluetooth connectivity it can be connected to any Bluetooth enable device such like phone, mp3 player, laptop etc. and then it acts like a Bluetooth speaker so he can play the drum for some real songs. How cool is that.
I think this kind of toy is so much better than just a matchbox car or a barbie doll. It helps to develop the passion for music, helps to learn the rhythm and to develop the motor skills. And I must say after playing with this for about 2-3 days now He is a better drummer now than Lars from Metallica 🙂
I got this as a present for my youngest son and he loves it. He just drums on and on which is driving the rest of his siblings insane but thankfully the volume can be adjusted.
There are several modes that change the tune being played from a generic sounding rock song, no music at all, and bluetooth. Anytime I try to change away from the rock song, my son just sets it back so I guess he’s a fan. The stick and drum set quality is pretty good and seems sturdy enough. Would recommend it.

This is a lovely kids drum set. It’s quite compact which is a big plus for us as we are limited on space. The drum kit is nice and loud, my son is absolutely loving the racket this makes! It’s very well made and feels to be built to withstand abuse from a toddler.
As a complete amateur who until now was using his drum sticks on his own legs while watching the music channels on tv

From the moment you undo the box and find a Velcro sealed box with plastic handle and see through case you know you are going to dealing with a high quality product.
Inside the box the drumsticks are very thick and smooth, perfectly finished, chunky wood and easy to hold.
The drums themselves have a convincing look about them with their tanned skins.
The dials, all positively switched and easy to position.
The symbols are fixed hard plastic and respond to a tap as do the drums.
Play solo, use the onboard sounds or connect via Bluetooth to play along with everything from nursery rhymes to the latest pop.
Much better than an old tin drum especially as you can adjust the volume.
This is a great musical inspiration toy but is definitely a louder play toy and something that’s better for occasional rather than regular use. As its made by little tikes, as you would expect its really well made and even has clever space to store sticks underneath and you can reuse the box it comes in as a storage case. The pads are pretty responsive and if you have a musical background, you will be able to use it as a basic beat machine to get your child counting musically in 4/4. I would say this is suited to 3+.
Play with the band is rather limited mode however the free play is enough for any child to entertain themselves for hours. Bluetooth connected easily but maybe more for older children as my child had no interest in that mode either.
The play attention factor is very high, my daughter sat for over an hour hitting away with the provided sticks (that’s a long time for my daughter), however she kept going back to it several times over the weekend and she kept getting the toy out every time I kept trying to put it away.
Its not a quiet toy so be warned, you can turn the volume down, but I think if you are going to give this toy to your child you need to expect the noise. Mixed with her laughter and giggles we had a lot of fun with this toy over the weekend. The real test will be the stainability of her attention with a new toy over the weeks so will update to see if she keeps playing with this toy.
This is just the thing to really annoy parents on Christmas Day or on a child’s birthday.
The drumsticks are just the right size for smaller hands. The extra feature with the set is that kids can drum along to tunes via Bluetooth — quite easy to set up. Batteries are included.
It sounds good, and it was loud enough to annoy both our cats and our neighbours, so we had to turn the sound down slightly to maintain neighbourly friendliness. You can adjust the sound via the on/off switch. Supposedly, “the volume control lets parents decide when to play softly and when it’s time to crank it up.” Obviously written by someone who’s never had kids — they will turn it up to 11 as frequently as they can.
Not something for us to enjoy, but we could see how much the grandchildren liked it — they were fighting over who got the drumsticks. Unfortunately, when they opened the box they totally destroyed it; rather a pity as you can use the box for storage.
If you’re really a glutton for punishment/want to inflict more misery (depending on whether it’s for your kids or someone else’s), there is a matching guitar available.
his was a gift to a 4old nephew, he loves it and his mum hates it.
noisey and robust, the differnt modes add a few extra elements to the drum set, but ober all he seems happy just beating the hell out out it and i think it will last sadly for his parents.
