These are fantastic for long and slow bbq cooks – I have done two now and they maintain heat really well. My only gripe would be how long you have to wait to get it up to temp (in a kamado) – took nearly 90 minutes!
Solid briquettes, not the dust sold in shops. Good heat retention for longer bbq sessions.
