Work Light and Fast

At Holstery we build lightweight tool belt systems to help you work more efficiently.

Traditional tool belts are overkill for most jobs and tasks. They’re heavy, bulky, and rarely organized in the way you want.

We like to carry only the tools we need, when we need them, and where we want them. How about you?

The Old Way

  • Carry lots of tools in a bulky tool belt.
  • You’re constantly bumping and scraping your way through a job site.
  • You need an exit plan at 40 because your low back is shot.
  • No or limited customization.

The Holstery Way

  • Customize your tool belt on the fly to meet the needs of the task at hand.
  • Optimize your workflow by putting tools exactly where you want them.
  • Stay light on your feet so you can work longer and faster.
  • Low-profile for working in confined spaces.

I bought 2 of these. I use one at a mine I work at where I always lose my wrench, they would fall out of my pocket of my coveralls. I lost so many I didn’t carry any for a while. This thing solved my problem, now I carry a 12-inch crescent wrench under my coveralls on my belt. Now if my wrench falls off the magnet I notice it fall down my pant leg. It also allows me to carry a bigger wrench than I could ever in any pocket. The only time my wrench ever detaches from the magnet is once in a while when I sit down, but once you get used to it you can reposition the wrench a bit when you sit down. and solves that problem. I wouldn’t go without one of these anymore.

Bro wtf, when they say these things can hold up to 12 pounds they aren’t kidding , I put two of them on my safety harness that weighs damn near 30 pounds , and stuck it to a beam, and these held like they were holding up a couple of feathers , 30 bucks ?? Definitely buying several more along with the joey bags too

Love this magnet use it all day long. It came unclipped from my belt 1st day so I electrical taped it so it wouldn’t un clip absolutely love it want a second one for my suspenders. Use it for everything it’s strong enough to hold my hammer, prybar, holds a handful of screws/nails. Would definitely recommend.

Ok so if the magnet is strong enough to hold my Milwaukee 20 oz hammer through the workday it’s more than likely overkill for the average user . I climbed ladders up five stories and hopped of lifts that were 4 feet off the ground and it didn’t budge, I figured it should hold up for most people at that point .

The magnet is strong and comes in handy when you need a third hand to hold some thing like tools, screws, etc. Could be annoying at times when walking closely to metal items.

My wife an I own a horse boarding facility. I’m constantly in the field fixing fence and the like. I recently got this and it’s a game changer for your tool awareness. It has quality construction, and feels very durable in your hands. Wearing it is easy and comfortable. It performs as promised. It holds all manner of tools, easily. My only suggestion is to pull out or down when removing a tool. Pulling up can take it off your belt. The magnetic pull is actually that strong. A bonus, it stores easily on the basket racks of the four-wheeler I work out of on the field. So, it’s always easy to know where it is at.
In short, get this! If you’re like me and constantly forget where you place your hammer, fencing tool, ect… It’ll change the game.

I really like this tool, it doesn’t take up much space when it is placed on the belt of your pants, and the magnet is super strong, I would recommend it to my friends.

It clips on and off your belt loop easily and can be moved w/o taking your belt off. It will hold surprisingly heavy tools for you while you are working a three handed job and ya don’t want to go up and down a ladder constantly.

I love this product. I’m a welder and work with dozens of different metal tools. This clip is perfect for working in tight spaces and can easily hold upwards of 15 pounds. I can drop a 10-pound needle gun to my waist, climb a ladder and crawl around with no fear of losing my tool. The only draw back is that the teeth on the screw that holds it together didn’t always catch when I tried to take it apart with an allen wrench. I wrapped it in fiber-glass tape to protect it from high-heat and replaced the faulty screws. This is a staple for me. I bought three of these and each one has already paid for itself.

I have this on my belt at all times. I gave one away to a friend because I thought he could find the magnet extremely useful. STRONG STRONG MAGNET! Watch a 20lbs sledge stick to your belt with ease.

The cellphone pocket on my work vest is comically small so I placed one of these Holstery magnets in there instead. I use a variety of fasteners in my day job, and it’s important that I have a lot of things at easy reach. This tool helps with that in a significant way. I can hold a cluster of fasteners where I can see and easily reach them. I work on ladders at least briefly for almost every job I perform. This makes it very easy to manage fasteners, or even tools while on a ladder. I have used it to hold bits, diagonal cutters, screwdrivers, an impact (although I wouldn’t trust this while moving around, it did hold the collet and the drill didn’t fall), whole boxes of screws, keys, fasteners, etc.

Word of caution: Please do not put hot drill bits on this magnet. You will burn yourself.

I will be buying more and trying to come up with more creative ways to use them.

If you’re a handyman or carpenter, this thing is amazing and handy! No ne3d to locate a hoop for putting your hammer in or a handful of screws/nails.

Will hold a 12v impact on your hip no problem. Use that as a gauge for what your use is. Also your friends will throw metallic items at your hip as a game. Pretty fun not gonna lie

Honestly I didn’t think this magnet would come in so handy. Especially if I’m using multiple tools or if I’m high up, this thing becomes a third hand. Won’t leave or start my work day without i

I use it for my 12″ crescent very sturdy.
Out of curiosity I’ve put a 6# sledge hammer on it and it held wasn’t practical but it held.

The clip over time does get a little loose and can be a pain.

Was doubtful at first it’s going to be used for a hammer holster while on site magnet is powerful holds the hammer solid onto it with ease only downside I can see is the back clip is made of plastic over time I can see this becoming weak and breaking it’s still worth it for me for now but they should make the case and back together out of one solid piece of metal rather than full body of plastic

4.0 out of 5 stars Strong magne

So I saw an ad for this product on instagram and I really loved the idea. I work as an audio tech for corporate live events and have a handful of tools that I like to have on me during set-ups. Some of these tools are too bulky for my pockets but aren’t so cumbersome that I need a whole pouch. So having a few of these magnet clips on my belt to slap my tools on was totally ideal and I really dig things that are minimal. I bought one to see if they worked well or if it was just a gimmick. I was pleasantly surprised to have the experience that I had imagined. The magnet is insanely strong. Like really really strong. I’m an owner of a few super magnets and this magnet absolutely crushed my strongest magnet. In the ad they advertised that it could hold a sledgehammer and I slapped a sledgehammer on this thing at home and jumped up and down and it held it with an iron grip. So it definitely handles a couple of hand tools. You can loop it through a belt, but the belt loop is also a very good quality metal clip. I slide the clip over my belt and that makes it very easy to equip. The nice thing about the clip is it also clips to your pocket nicely if that is more convenient. I’m very impressed with the quality and I’m definitely going to order more now that I know it’s a great product. Buy this. Just buy it. It’s worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLet’s talk magnets. Now I cannot take credit for this idea. I picked this practice up from some top tier operators I worked alongside here and there.

This belt magnet, made by @the_holstery is perfect for general use. As you can see it holds everything from a basic pistol magazine all the way to a 6 pound sledge hammer!

When you are working with both hands, sometimes you have to put a tool down. This magnet makes it super convenient to slap a tool on real quick, then easily grab when needed.

Here’s the best part, it’s only $30 on Amazon.

This gets a 9 out of 10. I would highly recommend to everyone.

    Great quality

I hate finding and putting together my ratchet when I’m doing beam clamps, unistrut/threaded rod bolts, or tapcons (better to ratchet those in to finish). So I figured I would kit the ratchet and the three sizes I usually need. (1/2 for ???, 7/16 for beam clamp set screws I think, 3/8 for threaded rod bolts).

Idk maybe I should just do a ratcheting wrench or something for bolts away from the ends. ya

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI ordered two initially, one for myself and one as a gift. After I had the first two for a few days I ordered four more… Some of them as gifts.

I wear athletic clothes a lot (i.e. without a belt) and I can clip these right on. I put up Christmas lights today and was able to easily hold a hammer on one and a bunch of nails on the other and swap them out no problem. It was so much better than a tool belt and actually seemed to hold the hammer in place better so that it didn’t swing around as I moved about. I love how easy it is to quickly stowe whatever tool in using

I wear at least one all the time because I can easily pop my keys in it if I’m going back and forth between the car and some errand. I can easily create a hands free flashlight configuration which is useful if we are out for a walk with the kiddo after dark or I just need my hands while doing something in lowlight situations.

I love it, total gamechanger. Quality is super solid, and the magnet is pretty darn strong. I would be interested in a “heavy duty” version of this for really hefty objects, it didn’t do that well with my chordless drill, but I suspect that has more to do with the metal content of the drill than the magnet.

Positives: Trowel holder is pretty strong i was surprised tbh holds trowel sufficiently being a marshalltown trowel and prob heavier things i reckon, surface area of magnet is approx size of 50 pence piece . Make sure your trowel is not so dirty first also.
Negatives: Bit pricey that’s why it got 4 stars.
I suppose they are exclusive to this product, but i don’t see it as good business charging sooo much for a iridium-magnet on a belt clip tbh.
