The fact that this is magnetic is just great. I have it stuck to the extractor fan and use it very often. You set the time by turning the plastic ring around the timer which goes up in 10 second increments up to 99 minutes. The magnet is also strong enough that when turning the dial, you wont rotate the entire thing and it will stay stuck to whatever metal surface its on. Once you have set a time, you need to start it counting down almost immediately otherwise it will reset to zero after a few seconds
This is a good digital timer and does the job it’s built for well. Display is a good size and it’s easy to quickly adjust it for the time setting you want. My only slight complaint is that it doesn’t automatically turn the display off when it’s idle – you have to remember to turn it off to conserve battery life. It does come with a battery in the box, but the one in mine was nearly flat on opening so don’t rely on it.
This is the second one I have had, the first one was dropped on a tile floor and as you can imagine broke, the fault of my husband !! Would highly recommend at the price!!
Great timer, does what it should. Easy to use. Very durable, it’s been dropped accidentally a number of times now and still works great and never broken, cracked or chipped. Been dropped onto bench and floor. Colour goes really well my other kitchen accessories.
Stylish but really quiet ring when the timer finishes. Be aware. Old cheap ones are much noisier but this one does look nice and operates well. No auto off though which is a bit silly – you have to hold down the off button for 4 seconds.
Neat little timer like the old fashioned manual dial ones but with no annoying tick. You do feel like you are dialling forever when setting it for longer timings but on the whole I like it.
It is a good timer although its method of operation is different to most others.. The outside of the disc is turned to set the time.It works well, with a strong magnet and the option to carry it around. The only minor negative is that the alarm is on the quiet side. We are very pleased with it. We like the colour as well.
Timer is great, intuitive design. Only trouble is the magnets don’t always seem to be strong enough. Sometimes you go to dial the time in and the whole unit spins. Attached on the side of our microwave at the moment, so maybe that’s why.
Super timer and made to last. Beats any other kitchen timer I have had and adds a splash of colour into the mix. Easy to use and counts up after timer has rundown so you know how long things have done longer for you. Would definitely recommend
Lovely, easy to turn, lives on fridge. Helping me to make sure I don’t over cook quinoa. So much easier than digital if you miss the time wanted you just back dial- you don’t spend ages waiting for time to work around again for 60 mins which in the middle of cooking is SO SO MUCH BETTER! Brillia
well made- looks good, simple, loud enough, but not too loud beeper that turns off automatically after 1 min, and counts up after has gone off- setting by turning the outside is a pleasure and so quick to use!!
a little difficult to see from a distance/ angle, not an issue for me though!
This is a neat take on a kitchen timer. I like the fact that it has magents on the back, so it can be placed on the hood above the hob. No clip means it’s not going to get broken (like the last one – which did last over 10 years). The colour brightens up the kitchen. The twisting to set the time is what makes this different, and it’s worthy it over the cheaper alternatives.
It’s a shame that it uses a coin cell, rather than a standard AA. You have to take out the plastic strip to start it working. Hopefully it will last a long time before needing another battery. Compared to the previous timer the numbers are smaller and the beeps quieter, but the novelty of the twisting to set the time and clear thought that’s gone into the design are clear winners.
