These magnets are good and I’m happy with the quality however they arrive with the magnets already in the metal receiver cups and it’s a really difficult job to separate them when you’ve not got the magnet screwed to anything.
It would have been easier if the countersink was on the inside of the cup but as it ships you have to try and wedge something between the magnet and receiver through a tiny hole. I could easily see someone stabbing themselves with an improvised poker. It’s not ideal at all. More thought needs to be put in how the item is packed and I feel sorry for anyone who has to separate multiple packs of these.
Not sure what attracted me to these magnets, they pulled my attention. As soon as the arrived I had a feeling like we connected. I offered it up to a metal door in the hope they would stick, and as if by magic, a twing and a twang they stuck to the door with steadfast grip. I was abit nervous that I wouldn’t be able to overcome the pull of these magnets as the initial connection between magnet and door seem powerful, but with a little prying they surrendered from the door.
I used these magnets to keep some drawers closed, they were easy to install and worked really well.
Only suggestion would be to include pre-drilled counter sunk keeper plates with each magne
I mounted 4 of these onto an ‘A5’ sized case that weighed around 2Kg and attached the case to the lathe.
Since it’s a lathe this is subject to vibration but they hold it more than good enough to prevent it slipping whilst not so well that I can’t (with a bit of effort) pull it back off.
I gave them 5 stars for “easy to remove” but it isn’t that easy but then marking them down for the very reason you purchased them seems a bit churlish.
One thing I did notice.
Whilst the screw holes are countersunk be aware that if you overtighten the screw you’ll fracture the magnet.
I like the versatility of what you can use these for with having a campervan. Used for holding a rock and roll end plate in place. The magnets are really strong adhesion. Would recommend.
I use these to secure plastic bag bin liners inside a collapsible garden bin so that the liners do not flop down inside. Makes it easier to load the bin!
For general purpose home demonstrations with grandchildren (e.g. how an electric motor works) these were good value and the dimensions were not too small on the individual magnets. Each magnet is countersunk on one side, presumably to enable it to be screwed to a surface. There are 10 plastic washers placed between magnets in the packaging – not quite sure what benefit they offer.
I’m a valeter and needed a solution to long standing problem of securing water pump, as vibration often means it works loose, when cleaning caravans. These magnets are perfect. Screwed them to a block of wood, screwed pump to the other side, and now I can attach to bulkhead or roof of my van. Very very strong magnets, I used 5 and struggled to get them back off.
Really great adhesion, used them to attached to steel washers on a bath screen for easy access. They worked perfectly with a little double sided Velcro tape.

These magnets are only small but they have a really strong holding force, don’t remove the white plastic separator until you’re ready to use them, you will find it difficult to separate them if you do, I’m using mine to hang and hold tools on the metal bulkhead in my van. Be careful what you attached them to, the holding force is extremely strong and you may scratch the host surface.
