Nice idea got a few moments peace and quiet from it. Cards to tend to drop out every now and again but the little fella just had something to play with when it did.
This is the only thing that’s settle my little girl in the car. We buy it for lots of friends when they have a baby. Only problem is she pulled all the disks off ours and lost them so this is our second one now.
We bought this for our neighbour’s son when he was born. They have told us he loves it and spends hours staring at it. In fact they went on holiday a few weeks ago and it was the only toy they took with them! Definitely a hit with them!
My baby loves this, hangs on his car seat but I also take it off to hang on his play at. Great from newborn with the black and white and he’s now 10 weeks old and tries to grab it and loves the colours
This has been the best distraction for our newborn, keeps her entertained and she babbles away everytime it’s used. Can be clipped to almost anything and she never gets bored of it. Can even change the pictures around as all double sided. Would definitely recommend for new parents
The product is fine, it cones. Exactly as it shows in the picture and the quality seems good. It’s very lightweight so easy to take out with you yet sturdy enough to throw in your bag without getting damaged.
My only thibg is mt baby doesnt seem that interested init anymore, i bought it when she was 4 weeks old and she really liked it then but now she’s nearly 8 weejs old ans seems bored of it if I’m honest. It may just be my baby though.
My daughter loves this. As soon as we clip it on her push chair or in the car, she smiles and kicks her legs.
It’s brilliant how it’s designed as it can be completely flattened. So easy to shove in a bag and take anywhere
My little girl is 11 weeks and would get restless quickly in her pushchair, car seat and moses basket. I saw this and going off the reviews decided to try it. Can honestly say it’s been my best baby purchase so far, wish I had bought it sooner, and had one when I had my other kids! Love that it can be quickly clipped onto anything and touch wood, so far she loves it. I have no connection with this company, I just wanted to share incase it could help someone else. My little girl is mesmerised by it and really helps her settle in the car etc.
Bought this due to the reviews. So pleased i did. I put this on my sons moses basket and hes obsessed with it. Before I couldnt get anything around the house done. Now I can just get some laundry in while hes entertained by that instead of me! Well happy
Our baby loves this mobile, he has just started smiling and smiles. Every time I put this up. It holds well on the car seat, pram and other places with the peg style clip on top. It seems nice and sturdy as it has survived my 4 and 2 year old playing with it which is quite the test!
If you had told me that this simple mobile would hold my 10 week old granddaughters attention each and every time it is above her, playing its soft music [optional], I would not have believed it.
The VERY first time she saw it she cooed and smiled and watched and engaged with it, on journeys and whilst just lying in her chair. Whoever designed this is a genius.
This is great for hanging on the car seat handle or the hood of a pram. Attracts baby’s attention and they love it. Mine has lasted a while (5 months so far) when out of the grip of the baby but she could pull it apart when she gets to it. Lovely for now and would recommend.
Bought this when my baby was a month old and he immediately loved it. You can clip it on to anything. I put it on the centre of the playmat and he would stare at it for ages while I turned it. Even now ( he’s six months) he’ll spend time looking at it but now wants to grab hold of it. Definitely worth the money.
This small plastic toy actually saved my sanity for the first 4 months and I’m not exaggerating! When he screamed in the car seat or pram or shopping or eating out this is the only thing that took his attention and he would stop almost immediately. We call it the baby hypnotiser!! Plus you are mentally stimulating them at the same time. Just get it!
Such a simple product that my baby loves. At first glance I didn’t think much of it but the other reviews persuaded me to purchase and I’m really glad I did, this goes everywhere – car seat, Moses basket, play gym. The clip feels secure and is of a good size. We have however managed to lose one of the double sided disc, not sure how but as my baby is really drawn to this I may purchase again just for a complete set, I also think it’s a great gift for someone expecting.
I think I needed to buy this sooner as by 4 1/2 months my child wants things she can touch and chew on. She looked at this a moment and then looked away. But had she been 1-3 months it would have been perfect! The design is surprisingly durable.
I bought this for my baby’s pram, as we have the full-sized mobile above her changing table and she was (& still is) mesmerised by it! This small mobile doesn’t have interchangeable discs but the ones it does have are still fascinating for her & help keep her quiet when she’s not happy to be plonked in the pram. My only criticism is that the strong is very short so for younger babies who can’t see as far, it might be a bit high in a pram.
I love it and so does my baby. Its great for many reasons:
Easy to attach to anything (pram mainly)
My baby loves looking at it
Bottom bits are interchangable, so u can mix and match pictures
It spins in the wind – another interesting thing for my little one.
I got to wonder how long it will last, as i am not too sure about the stri g its on… but i guess as long as i am careful with it, it should las
Bought this set for my 3/4 month old and he stills plays with them daily at 8 months. The Triangle is the firm favourite as has soft rattle noise, interesting shape for picking up, smashing down and chewing. He’s starting to gain more interest in the ball as challenging to pick up and little tag to grab and chew. Likes the shapes on the cube. All have different textures and pictures. Manahattan toys are expensive but found them to be most engaging and stimulating for my baby.
Bought this toy and another one from Manhattan toys range for my newborn niece. They are great. My children had another toys from Manhattan, infant stim mobile and discovery shapes. Stim mobile was a hit. At first glance I wasn’t impressed by it but afterwards seeing my child being mesmorised by pictures on this mobile I changed my mind. I like the idea behind Manhattan toys that simplest is the best, no more annoying electronic music I am certain that this one will be my niece’s favourite toy
My Eight month old has been using this mobile and both his pram and on his car seat. He was extremely enamoured with the patterns, and this little thing was a lifesaver on our first overseas flight. He was able to pull off the lowest ring of hanging circles, however. All in all, this was a great purchase. In fact, we are now own three and have them in different places!
I bought this for my then 2-week old baby and at 9 weeks he is still engaged with this mobile. It is such an incredibly simple design and very simply made, but it holds his attention in his carry cot when waking or trying to self-soothe during day-time naps. We always take it along too when out for lunch or on slightly longer car journeys as it can attach easily to the car seat handle. I would love to ask the company making these to please make one that moves automatically as my little one loves it, particularly when I spin it and he can see all the moving shapes and patterns. For the price I don’t think you will find a nicer mobile for a newborn and young infant. Great!
Perfect to put on the car seat handle, the peak or anywhere really. I have been using this since my son was born and after 3 months it is in as-new condition and baby is mesmerised by it. I love that you can turn the little disk around, so the ones baby can see changes and he’s not always starting at the same pattern. I’d say this is perfect until baby can reach and pull things easily
I give it 5 stars because my baby absolutely loves this toy he’s 7 months and it is still going strong. I got it before he was born, and used it on the pram to distract him, there is no other toy he really loves as this one. Baby used to flap his hand to make it move, he now pulls the bits off and plays with the discs I have to put them bacl on so he can keep playing, he goes on for hours!. Definitely best toy eve
This is my favourite baby mobile for a newborn. The simple black and white and primary colours are ideal for a newborn’s vision. The clip means you can clip it on the infant car seat handle or pram hood to give them something to look at while on the move. Both of my babies spent ages looking at this when they were small. It’s super lightweight and takes up no space to store between babies. I liked this so much that I have also bought several for friends’ babies. Very highly recommended.
I bought this for my first daughter and it immediately became the favourite. When inconsolable with colic, teething, and the other mysterious, unfathomable things that babies sometimes cry about the cry would go out “we need THE TOY!” This wonder would distract and relax her the majority of the time that we weren’t able to and it took 18 months for her to start losing interest. Definitely a 5 star toy.
The only problem is trying to find something different but as effective for her new little sister as we don’t dare hand this one down!!
Still one of my baby’s favourite toys, several months on. Loses a star as the Velcro strap to attach is quite short (too short to wrap around the car seat handle at the side, or the bumper bar of the pushchair). However it’s light, portable and has a large number of things to entertain baby despite its small size. One of our best baby toy purchases
I got this for my baby when he was about a month old which didn’t interest him much at that age. In fact, he would glare or frown at it whenever he saw it. But as he got older, he started to like it and began moving his arms towards it. Now at 4 months, he loves playing with it and it keeps him entertained for a good hour or longer. The rattle and teething ring is easy for him to grab onto but he’s still unable to grasp the squeaker. It’s a good price to pay for a toy that’s easily portable and one that baby can grasp onto.
This is great. We’ve had it since baby was 6 weeks and now at 8 she’s properly engaging with it on her own. Stares at the patterns for ages and begun swiping at the dangling bits. Great for pram bassinet and buggy if you have somewhere to attach the sturdy Velcro loop. I have to manually undo the Velcro to get it off so am not worried about baby yanking on it and pulling it off. Well made development toy.
My daughter didn’t really take to this much when she was 3-4 months, but now at almost 6 months she absolutely loves it! The green teether is easy to hold, and she likes the little rattle in the plastic ring. I think the squeaker is rather redundant since she can’t squeeze it herself, but she does like it when someone else squeezes it for her.
My 2 month old baby girl absolutely loves it. Its patterns and colors hold her attention for quite a while, and I can easily clip it on her play mat or her cot (we have a Tiny Love Take Along mobile with detachable parts so we just take the toy part away and clip this one to its arm instead). The mobile doesn’t play any music and doesn’t whirl like most mobiles, but don’t be fooled by its simplicity. Would recommend this to parents of very young babies who are struggling to find something to captivate the attention of their little ones and keep them busy for a little while.
The theory behind this is that young babies are stimulated, but not over-stimulated by black and white images. This is a clip on mobile which can be put on car seat or pram or even added to another toy – bouncy chair or baby gym.
The images help the baby to zone out to the background noise and allow them to focus on that image.
We had a mobile of this and a display chart thing in the car. Both were utterly amazing, we found our small baby quickly could become very over-stimulated and then couldn’t settle to sleep as she had information overload, she then cried so much she got windy and it was a horrible vicious circle. The black and white images really really helped her to settle. I have bought this as a gift for someone. I hope by giving it I am not only giving a useful item, but also giving the gift of more sleep for the parents!!!
I really like this mobile since it has all the interesting attractions of the bigger version but it can be used anywhere where baby is for play time. My baby is 2 months old and for the time being does not really interact much with the mobile (or any other toys for that matter) as she quickly gets frustrated and just wants to go back to sleep. I look forward to the day she will be able to focus more on the images of this mobile.
We have a few things from the Manhattan Toy Co, and our little one loves them all. She’s had this from about 3 months and at 6 months is still in love with it. The thing I like about Manhattan Toys is, they have a level of detail that keeps the child’s interest as they develop. So when she was really little, she just loved grabbing the different shapes and waving it about. Now I find her studying the patterns and colours (and even the label) very intently! I would recommend to any parent.
