I love the Marvels collection and sci-fi so this was the perfect film for me!! I loved the storyline and the characters, it was very action packed, just how I like it!! No problems with the seller or product!
As I have said I like this movie. It had a tall order, so many characters to portray and trying to show the backstory for each of them must have been a nightmare to do in such a short time. I think to have given it justice, it needed more screentime, so it could have expanded more. But overall, I enjoyed it. I would not mind seeing an Eternals 2 movie but with a longer screentime.
The hype was it was dreadful, possibly due to Angelina being in it, yes she isn’t the right person for this film and yes a slow film but it was rather good, question is will a second one occur?
A collection of new characters with superpowers that have finally come out of the shadows. They’ve been around go a very long time, some are part of history and others have influenced it.
It’s a great way to bring a loaf of new characters into the MCU, and it actually works. Occasionally they refer to MCU characters and events, so I expect crossovers in the MCU.
This is the most diverse and inclusive superhero movie that I have seen, with great representation for today.
There’s been issues with film makers making significant changes to fan favourite characters, such as gender and ethnicity. I don’t think this happened here, but this wasn’t one that I was aware of and don’t think I’m alone there.
Beautifully shot, well paced and well acted rendition of Jack Kirby’s cosmic marvels. Engage and enjoy. One star dropped because surprisingly some of the CGI was below current standards. Nonetheless, a great introduction to the Eternals and I’m definitely looking forward to see where Marvel take this next time.
The package arrived on time and in excellent condition. Great service. I initially wasn’t sure but after the 2nd viewing I really enjoyed the movie and all of the bonus features. This film is set across thousands of years so it has to skip back and forth for the overview of the story. This is Marvel’s introduction of the scope of their cinematic universe so there’s a lot think about. We meet ten new characters with abilities beyond most Marvel heroes so far brought to the screen. After being sent to protect the earth thousands of years ago, a new threat arises with the power to destroy the planet. Around the same time they are shown a side of themselves no-one knew about with detrimental consequences. Stunning imagery and original concept.
This one is a bit slower paced than other Marvel films but tries (and mostly succeeds) to be something different. Runtime is quite long but I never felt it whilst watching and definitely got drawn into the story.
It was not the best MCU movie I’ve seen though this may be due to making comparisons with the Avengers series and characters. The storyline was the not strongest and I think the character development was a little patchy. The back story would have benefited from possibly 2 movies , the first maybe being an ‘origin’s’ story and the second being a better development of the Eternals fight to save earth. Character development wasn’t given enough thought and the relation between Sirsi and Icaris wasn’t fleshed out but took place in flashbacks, which I feel is a cheap method of getting to the kernel of the film. The direction was good so there is a big there. I would rate the movie as a 5/10 and hope for an upscale ongoing series.
I enjoyed the movie, as it kicks off the whole Marvel Comic structure. and paves the way for all that has come before. looking forward to the sequel. Big Fan of Marvel. well done. don’t miss it.
Liked the film although understanding who or what the deviants are, are they a metaphor for deviance in humans? and the eternals heroes are living daily normal lifestyles.
So this could be happening in a neighbourhood near you.
I have been a Marvel fan ever since I bought my first comic back in the sixties from East Ham Market – X-Men 1 (no longer have it, crying emoji’s x 10 thousand!!!). Had not seen this at the cinema so was excited to see it. Have to say it’s not bad, but because the characters have not had their own story, seemed that each had to be introduced during the film, which I get, but just seemed a bit tiresome to me. Action scenes are good and up to Marvel standard. Just think there is something missing, but now the “Origin” story is out of the way, film 2 maybe better. Still recommended.
Good film if a little on the long side (could do with maybe 15 minutes trimming from the runtime). Was entertained so cannot complain. Great picture and sound quality (Dolby Atmos) as well.
With a cast list that includes Angelina Jolie as Therma, Gemma Chan as Sersi and Richard
Madden as Ikaris we follow from past to present a group of Eternals who had been sent
to Earth some 5000 years by the Celestial Arishem to exterminate the invasive Deviants,
The introduction Ary movie takes us backward and forward in time telling us of the Eternals
battles and the powers they process.
A super-hero movie with some superb action sequences and brilliant Special-Effects which are enhanced splendidly on the 4k format.
*Now the character movie introduction has been done, hopefully the next in the series will not have the
need to go into the past quite so much
Never read the comics so enjoyable film but ruined by scenes of homosexuality almost as if it forced its way into this film somehow. It does not help advance the film’s plot in anyway.
