This is a good product, compact and does the job. There are a couple of negatives though, firstly the power button feels flimsy and much lower quality than it should be and secondly the blue led is far too bright for use in a bedroom.
This surge protecting extension lead is a great design … it’s compact, has 2 usb points and 4 x 3pin power points, has a stable base so it can sit on your desk, floor, other furniture, with access to all plugs as well as switching the entire unit off at night, or on vacation, without unplugging everything. Very happy withy purchase, thank you.
This is the third I’ve bought now. Nice and compact, with plenty of sockets and a couple of UBS connections too. Seems sturdy. Only issue is that when the mains power has been turned off you need to press the ‘on button’ to turn it on again. A small price for a sense of security
This is the third ‘Four Socket Surge Protected Extension Lead’, I have bought. It is solid , stylish and can be wall mounted. I only use sockets with surge protection .The off switch is very ‘positive’ and you can see at a glance if it is on/off .
For years I have had numerous remote sockets for my computer and equipment under my workstation
All of them have failed after weeks or months. I have got tired of laying on the floor under my desk to change the broken socket.
This unit sits on my desk, looks good, and with one press of a button, everything is working, two charging USBs are handy for phone charging all on my desk.
Only because I needed another I could trust. The first one has been invaluable, and keeps getting pinched and used in preference to any other lead. So I caved and bought a second.
I know aesthetics aren’t a primary consideration for garage electrics but it makes a nice change that they do what they are required to and are easy on the eye too!
I love the compact shape of this, and it is sturdy. It has a USB port for charging too, so handy. I have another I purchased a couple of years ago so knew this was dependable. Would highly recommend it.
