Mini Chainsaw 6-inch & 4-inch, 26v-2 * 2000mAh Battery Mini

Fantastic item did what it says on the box used to help clear my very over grown garden and trim back trees arrived v quickly only downside instructions very basic and maybe could have put some chain oil in with it as I could only get a litre bottle which will probably out live the tool

Just returned a different make (4″ model) because the motor started smoking when trying to cut through a 4″ branch of cherry tree. Also, the trigger was sticking. Anyway, decided to reorder and chose this one because it had 4″ and 6″ bars and some of the cherry tree had branches that were about 6″ diameter. I charged both batteries before using and was surprised when each of them only took about 5 minutes for the green ‘fully charged’ light to come on. I did wonder if this meant that the batteries were faulty. After adding a bit of oil to the already installed 6″ bar and chain, I set to work on the tree. I was instantly, pleasantly surprised when the saw cut through every branch without any binding up or smoke from the motor. After chopping all the branches off, I then set to work cutting all the branches into smaller, more manageable pieces so that I could take them to the tip. It wasn’t until I had nearly finished what must have been an hour of cutting that the first battery just died. It didn’t start slowing down. It just stopped. Replaced the battery and off it went again. During the whole process, I had to tighten the chain once. Considering the cuts that i was taking ( 6 of the branches were at full 6″ deep), I couldn’t help but be impressed. I do still have some of the tree to cut down, but am looking forward to using this saw again. The trunk is about 18″ across, so this will not be any good, but it would be perfect for anything up to 12″.
The only thing that lets this saw down is the 26V sticker on the batteries and the lack of supplied oil. I put a meter across the terminals of the batteries and they are about 20V. There is no need to lie when the tool is this good! Apart from that, it’s a brilliant little saw.

I bought this chainsaw for my mother-in-law as a Xmas present. She only used it a couple of times and mentioned that the chain kept loosening whenever she tried cutting anything bigger than a twig. When I tried it at the weekend, I noticed that the chainsaw kept stopping so we manually moved the chain with the battery off and this seemed to trigger it to work. It stopped again the next time we turned it on so we had to repeat the process every time it stopped which is very time consuming and unreliable. For some reason, the fan keeps working every time but the chain would not move around unless we manually moved it.
Unfortunately, I bought it back in November 2022 so can’t send it back!
