This is great whilst you’re working at your desk or just lazing around on the sofa and a chance to burn extra calories. Fixing the item didn’t take too long and it’s easy to understand and use!
Bought for my husband following a long stay in hospital to enable him to get the strength back in his legs. It appears to be working, he can now do 20 minutes 3 or 4 times a day on the machine, which is a vast improvement. It now means he can go outside for a proper walk without his legs going all wobbly and feeling tired.
Excellent well made pedalow. Good resistance, stable, some say it walks but mine doesn’t. Would have liked a bigger battery so the display could be lit up as difficult to see when in use but this is a minor point. I would buy this again. At 82 years old it gives my legs the exercise they need perfectly.
Bought this to strengthen the muscles in my legs and to help with my balance. Really easy to use just sit in a chair and pedal away and certainly helper my balance and muscles and now able to walk. Recommend this machine.
I’m so glad I did. I understand a lot of the critiques about it being too cheap, a bit flimsy etc. But it works. It was 33 and absolutely works as it should. Assembly was easy, it’s small and light – I don’t know what more I could have asked for. It also looks fine too me. Taking price and functionality into account it’s well worth 5 stars.
Was looking for a home exercise solution for working from home. It was a toss up between this and a small treadmill but I decided on this as it’s cheaper and smaller. I’m glad I went for this. It fits nicely under my desk, and is easy enough to just pop my feet in during the day and start pedalling away.
It’s very ease to use, portable and compact. The cons would be that it feels cheap, isn’t very sturdy/heavy so often ends up moving while your pedalling (which isn’t a huge deal as it’s so light you can easily pick it up with your feet to reposition), and also that the difficult is adjusted through a handscrew at the back which is seemingly random as to what difficulty you’re setting yourself at. You just turn it over and over and over again and then try pedalling and see if it’s right, if not turn it another 5 spins and try again. Surely theres a better way to do this.
Overall I’d recommend as a budget option for people working with limited space. It does the job. If you have the space for a full on exercise bike, then that would definitely be better, but for the people who need this sort of product it’s perfect.
I bought this because I have slightly high blood pressure and apparently if I do three ten minutes sessions a day it will help. I found it very easy to put together and to use. The only thing is that it moves quite easily so I do jam it into the leg of a table to make sure that it’s secure.
Great light weight exerciser for legs with non slip mat and can alter tension having said all that can’t work out how to use the time clock or other recordings or length of exercise and find a re set button so just time record manually using watch
I’m so glad I bought this, as it had mixed reviews. The price was reasonable and delivery quick. If you want to kick start you’re fitness goals or top up you’re current exercise regime, go for it, you’ve nothing to lose but fitness to gain.
It was super easy to assemble — from opening the box to pedalling away was about 15 minutes. It feels sturdy enough to me and I’ve also not had any issues with it slipping — mine is on a wooden floor, using the rubber mat.
I’ve been pedalling away throughout the day ever since and it’s quiet enough that it hasn’t impacted any calls or been noticeable. Keeping it on a relatively low setting and using it most of the day while sitting at the desk is easy enough, although I might try bumping it up for more intense workouts. Also keen to give it a go as a hand bike!
We’ll see how effective it is for weight loss/toning in the coming weeks, but it feels good to be getting movement in while I work — and at this price, it feels like a great cheap win.
I would urge people to watch the little video, which I found made the booklet instructions a bit clearer.
My first dilemma was where to put the washers. You can just see on the video that the assembler puts the little flat plate in place, then the bolts he inserts have the washers hanging round them. So the washers go onto the bolts & end up between the flat plate and the bolt heads. So far so good.
Next I struggled at first because the person in the video seems to have NO trouble inserting the pedals into their openings, whereas I was finding it felt as though the bolts on the pedals were too big for the screw hole on the pedal arms. I pushed and twisted the first one, but though I did get it in a tiny amount it just didn’t seem to be going in & I was in danger of hurting myself.
Then I noticed the nut which is snugged up by the actual pedal and decided to see if that moved. Using the spanner provided, I turned the nut & the pedal immediately started to sink into the hole. It was actually really easy after that, even with the spanner slipping off quite often!
For the left side I was able to pretty much use the spanner from the start, rather than straining myself.
I recommend either sitting on the floor or in a chair to assemble this, with the machine supported by your legs so both hands are free, or getting someone else to hold it steady, or otherwise propping the main body up. It is a two-hand job.
Hope this helps!
