It works, I think that’s always a worry when buying mini electronics!
She’s had it since Christmas and the batteries only ran out around June so it doesn’t eat them.
The games are cool, loads of different ones to choose from and they’re all fairly easy to navigate.
Both my 9 year old and 4 year old love it.

Another stocking filler for the other half. He loves it! Xmas morning he was sat in bed playing it so it was another good purchase.
When he is away with work he takes it with him when it’s a bit quiet. Or uses in the evening. He has played about 10 games so far so still plenty to go.
Great for us late 40 somethings who yearn for a bit of nostalgia. I cant get near the thing to have a go
My friend really likes it on long flights, but said the music is super annoying as it is either on full or zero. Other than that, great for the price
Fabulous product. Bought one a few years ago and have just purchased two more. 100 games, easy to use and lots of fun. Just make sure you have three AAA batteries ready as sadly this does not contain them. Ideal Christmas gift.
when i got this i was very excited and i ordered two but one worked great but the other ones on and off button does not work so i had to ;pull off the back and replace the batteries over and over again but apart from that itr was very good
Bought as a secret Santa gift and was received well. Seen several hours of use and not had to swap the batteries yet. Surprising good quality for the price, ideal novelty gift for anyone who loves clasic 8/16bit games.
Great little game thingy! Good stocking filler and lots of retro games to play.
Only downside, screen is a bit small. The ones in the 80s had a bigger screen! However, very good product and hubby and 5 yr old love it!
My 10-year-old loves this. Basic games (as expected seeing as it’s a retro item!) but they keep him happy and off my phone. He can fit it in his pocket for long train journeys etc.
Bought as a stocking filler for my son and daughter’s boyfriend. You buy two at once, so perfect little gift. Absolute winner, has apparently over 100 games and reminds them of their gameboys! (both are 19).
Definetly something to buy again in the future as a little something fun at Christmas, may get one for my husband.
Some of the games are as good as they were in 1980 i.e. not much. But others are playable. Good fun and value. Shortfall in stars are down to my old fingers struggling. Grandson found it a breeze.
smaller are the micro-consoles such as the incredible pocketsprite but these are generally much more expensive and so tiny you have to be an ant to play the games(i have one,it’s fantastic)
However, on the mini consoles,these have small screens at least 1,8 inch like this thumbs up.
the screen though the smallest is very very good.bright,clear,sharp,colourful and high quality.This makes seeing the games easy.
the sound is a 3 step job and low in volume and quality.The sound really inferior compared with the excellent screen.
It has an awkward lump at the back to house the batteries.
all the games are origional,no nes or known games however they fit the screen superbly,origional and great fun but very very simple.Good for someone who has never played a game before.simple,childlike but fun.
Overall a mixed bag.Great screen,tiniest console,unique games but the sound lets it down.
Maybe for a 3 year old or a begginer.
Bought 2. One for each of my sons as a wee stocking filler. They loved them! 153 games on them. Plenty to keep them amused over the holidays and small enough to take anywhere. Well worth the money for what they are.

This is a nice little game console, you will find many interesting games and is great to give to a child. The lack of famous games like space invaders makes it lose a star but at the price range it has a nice feel to it.
