I bought this device 3 months ago and I wanted to give a long term use to know it well. I’m really impressed and pleased with this new version of Minisforum EliteMini TH80, it super fast, more robust and great. My wife uses it for work and basically it never turns off, she uses it for design in photoshop and illustrator and it’s really good. quiet unit, you forget that it’s there. Not tested for gaming but ran a benchmark which says it’s not ideal for gaming but it might do the trick.

Replaced an old laptop with this PC. Used mainly for Web browsing and home office so happy with the lowest spec. But processor speed, ssd capacity and Windows 11 are great for what I need. And in such a small unit that takes up no desk room. (Will fix to the back of a monitor if needed).

Add in an extra TB of SSD and this little PC will handle anything a home or office can throw its way.
Not a gaming machine but absolutely blisteringly quick at all other tasks. Office, Photoshop, corel just wow.
Don’t waste your time on a cheaper one, just get the i7, 32gb, 1Tb and buy a 1-4 TB storage SSD to pop inside the case too.
Can run 4x 4K at the same time.
Only one annoying feature. As the lid is quick release, you are forever popping it open when you press the power button and holding the unit down with your other finger / thumb by the lid… Oops, popped it open AGAIN.
Would recommend this to anyone who used to have a big tower but is aging. My old computer was huge and was around 10 years old, and started bugging and blue screening, but this one is amazing, I haven’t have to restart or anything, I think it has been turn on continuously since I bought it around a months ago, it’s really small and looks really neat. It is truly the best. I have included a picture of the new computer, and hope it gets the size of the machine in, it does get warm during hot weather (when it’s 30+ degree heat) but that’s understandable, and once the ‘heatwave’ went and was back to low 20’s the temperatures were nothing to worry about at all. It’s also very quiet and the fans don’t spin up at all really, very rarely when I have many programs open or it’s doing something taxing on the CPU. I also installed a 1tb SSD along side the original and to was very easy to open and closed up again, and give you the option for RAM upgrades in the future
Fr den Einsatz als Arbeits-Desktop (Windows 11) gut geeignet, betreibe ihn mit zwei 32″ curved Samsung Monitor. Preis/Leistung passt meiner Meinung nach. Das Gert ist nach 8 Monaten Dauerbetrieb ausgefallen (SSD defekt), der Service von Mini’s Forum hat zeitnah geantwortet und das Gert nach Einsendung komplett ersetzt. Alles bestens. Backup auf neuem System eingespielt und weiter ging’s 😉
Trs bon produit je dirais mme tonnement bon je ne recommande pas sauf si vous avez cette parade car c’est le seul dfaut de ces appareils ils redoutent la foudre.
dommage que le vendeur ne fournit pas une cl window de ractivation en cas d’appareil bloqu sur l’interface de dmarrage avec accs au bios
Most many PCs aren’t really thought out, they tend to just be whichever components will fit into the smallest box thrown in together rather than anything purpose built but this goes away from that completely mainly due to the fact that it looks like every single component that’s been used in this has been made to measure to fit as much as possible into such a compact unit.
The main bit that jumps out at me really is the removable top, it’s a push removal system so you just press down on the top and it opens up to reveal all of your components really easily accessible. They then thought about the PC case itself so that all of your Connexions are well stacked out in order to make the most of the space on both sides of the box meaning that if you are mounting this behind a TV or on a wall they would be very easily accessible for any connections needed.
Capabilities of this PC are based around the specs that are already well described within this listing however it’s important to point out that I can’t really tell the difference between this mini PC and an older gaming PC then I run side by side as this doesn’t seem to have any issues keeping up with anything I’m throwing at it.
Overall it’s a surprisingly capable device that has outperformed anything I expected from it and more.
I got this due to the rising cost of energy, and using my other gaming PC for browsing the web and watching videos seems overkill.
This is a great little PC, I have it Dual-boot installed with “XeroLinux” (“Arch” based Linux) and it works great. I installed a 1TB Crucial SSD where my Linux is installed. The cable that connects to the additional drive on the lid has a tiny connector and it’s a bit of a challenge to connect as its close to the edge of the case, so be careful when you connect it.
I have a “smart plug” connected to the power plug as I was curious how much energy it would use and I was astonished that over the month since I’ve owned it, it has only used 2.3kWh (0.70p)!
It idles at about 7 watts, and I’ve seen it go up to about 20 watts.
I have it connected to 2 monitors (one 2560×1440, the other 3840×2160.)
(My main monitors use more power than this mini PC!
I haven’t really tried games on it yet, but I will at some point, although I already have a gaming pc.
I got this when there was a voucher offer on during November for about 269 of I recall.
I may have hesitated at paying the full price but either way this is a brilliant little PC that costs peanuts to run, like I don’t think you could even buy a bag of peanuts for what this cost to run per month, haha.

Encantado con la presentacin de ste MiniPc. Con una esttica discreta y elegante. Al abrirlo me sorprende gratamente que incluya los accesorios detallados anteriormente.
Bien me falta tiempo para conectarlo e inmediatamente se instala Windows 10 Pro, luego todas las actualizaciones y seguidamente la posibilidad de un update a Windows 11, que logicamente aprovecho.
He estado probndolo durante unas semanas y confirmo que la relacin calidad-precio es excelente. Lo he utilizado como PC de sobremesa con 2 monitores y muy bien, me encanta el espacio libre que me deja en el escritorio y totalmente valido para ofimtica, teletrabajo, navegacin y ocio; suficiente para video domestico y fotografa. Lo tuve una semana conectado como PC multimedia 4K en mi TV, cabe perfectamente debajo o puede ir colocado en la parte posterior con el soporte VESA incluido y el resultado fue realmente sorprendente, utilic fluidamente un teclado y un ratn bluetooth. Es facilmente portable por su tamao y el peso. El conector y adaptador de alimentacin es estndar.
Es muy silencioso, y no se calienta en absoluto, la refrigeracin est muy bien resuelta
Totalmente recomendable, lo volvera a comprar.
