This is one of those products that is surprisingly brilliant for the price. Sure it’s note a fully fledged all singing and dancing ODB II device but hey, it works for the basics and it diagnosed my faulty coils in my Mini easily enough. Would not be without it now.
This product will eventually be displayed in my videos on my Channel called AlexTheGrumpyOne.
Feel free to find many products and reviews on there.
Always happy to give a good honest review.
A good gadget to own, worked on my vauxhall meriva to turn off the service light, I know it needed a service. Not tried it on my peugeot 3008 yet but I have every faith in this OBD scanner. Great item for the price. Recommended.
For the price I can’t fault this little reader. I plugged it into my Mercedes C250, it read the code, let me reset it, and I was able to go to the local garage and tell them which sensors to look at problem singed cheaply and quickly, rather than the hundreds Mercedes would have charged me!
Used this device on a Jaguar XE after allowing my AdBlue to run out and being left unable to start the engine.
Topped up the AdBlue – and I still couldn’t start the engine.
Plugged this in, it allowed me to clear the fault – and the engine started immediately.
It’s useful to know what the faults with your vehicle are – as some garages still charge 100+ just to plug in a similar machine.
This will pay for itself if you even need to use it once – and the fact it works on so many makes and models makes it a godsend.
Branded replacement sensor 40, diagnostic tool 20 and sensor removal tool about 8. Bargain!
This is a basic unit that supports generic ODBII fault codes with error description, but I think manufacturer specific codes are also shown, although it would then be necessary to look up their meaning on the internet. It also supports real time data stream. Excellent value for money!
