I bought it as my son still in nappy and refused to go to the toilets. I made him to choose which colour he would like to have. He takes with him everywhere
I was hesitant buying at first as thought it was quite expensive for what it was but after seeing everyone else with them thought we’d give it a go. Having so many choices really engaged my 2.5 year old boy. He instantly wanted to try and a week in we are barely having accidents. He finds it much more comfortable to use than the original toilet shaped potty I bought for him. This is light and easy to take everywhere with us. It deals shut and we’ve not had any issues. Sometimes when pouring it dribbles down the side but as I’m cleaning it anyway it’s not a problem. It has quite a high lip which is better for boys (although sometimes if not positioned properly he does sometimes still wee around the edges) but overall this is brilliant and I can see why everyone spends money on this. Wish I hadn’t bought another potty too and just went straight for this one.
Brilliant compact portable potty for on the go needs. We caravan alot and its great to take with us, doesn’t take up alot of room and great for days out too.
Only wish that it had a bowl that you could remove to pour it down the toilet, it would make life much easier.
My toddler loves this potty and asks to go for a Nemo wee! It’s been great when we are out and about and we leave this in the boot of our car.
It’s seems very sturdy, and has been dropped a couple of times and so far so good!
It’s super easy to clean as well, regardless of what has been done in it!
My one criticism, I wish it had a removal bowl feature as it’s slightly harder to empty the contents having to tip the whole thing over!
Brilliant product! Innovative, cute colours and art work. Easy to open up ,child can do it themselves. Perfect size for them to carry whenever you go anywhere away from home ! Doesn’t leak when closed just in case you are on a train, bus or aeroplane or there isn’t anywhere to empty it! Very pleased ! Appealing to little kids and very useful for carers ! Excellent purchase worth every pound !!
This is the fashion item of the potty training season!
When they need to go – they need to go. This was great for us. You can flick open with seconds to spare – just find a quite spot. If you don’t have somewhere to empty straight away it will hold what’s in it without leaking.
Reliable and easy to take around
This potty has been incredibly useful for potty training. We take it everywhere with us. A potty is always going to be a little bulky, but I think this one does a reasonable job at being compact and lightweight. It also seems pretty robust as we’ve dropped it once or twice without damage, bar one or two very light scuffs on the casing. We’ve not encountered any leaks so long as the catch has been properly secured.
The main thing I don’t like about it is there’s no spout to easily pour the waste out of. Inevitably every time you empty the potty, it dribbles down the side which then needs wiping up. I think it’s a missed opportunity for the raised bit between the legs not to be shaped better to prevent this issue, and it wouldn’t detract from the rest of the design or compromise the lid seal.
On occasions I also find the catch a bit fiddly, but this is minor. It would be good if you could just push the lid shut without having to turn the catch each time.
Overall very pleased with it in terms of having a potty we can easily take around with us, but I do think some small design changes would improve it further.
Kids love it. Quite sturdy fastening won’t open by itself which is good. A bit too good opened it yesterday after a pit stop forgot they’re was som pee in went all over my hand. My fault so 5/5 love it.
I’m so glad I bought this. My daughter was potty training and I decided to purchase this before she started wanting to go when out and about. The first trip we took with this we took the kids to London and unfortunately the toilets queue was outrageously long we quickly popped this in a corner put my hoodie as a shield to give her privacy and we went without an issue. It didn’t leak or anything. We were all happy.
If I was to have a complaint it would be that the lid should be able to open to store toilet roll or flushable wipes. That would’ve made it more compact and easier to travel with.
Such a great design for going out and about- genius!
It look a bit longer to get used to as the front part between their legs seems higher than my other potty so she was a bit nervous at first, but we left it in the house for her to get used to before taking out with us and now it’s her go to potty at home
And out 🙂
We were sent this item as a replacement as our original potty broke after only 6 months use. This one has been in action for a month or two now and so far so good.
his one or a folded one that u pop in your bag
i don’t like the idea of bags cos that’s just a mess to empty and chuck and no i dont like the idea of chucking a bag of urine instead of flushing it.
I also like hygiene. kids hold the toilet seats in public places which are filthy and they touch their faces and you before u even have time to get them to wash their hands
happened to me- was at the hospital and the toilet was occupied- my little one needed to go.
the botty li being there gave a bit of privacy. no one sees a bag getting filled or then tied. you can use it anywhere. shut and sort your kid and go no faffing with what to do with the pee or poo. so overall positives compared to the bag types and the seat only ones u fold away
the annoying bits- the seat container doesnt come off to empty. u have to hold the entire thing and pour or flip. pee then sometimes drips down to the white areas they sit on. its urine so really i can’t just wipe it u need to wash and rinse these with soap when back home as it its a layer of protein u cant see at first but later builds up and makes visible like toilet seats 😉 to wash it then uh ave top wash the entire potty and its a bit messy than a cup/pan
the locking mechanism as many have mentioned is not easy. u need both hangs to open this and close. my one doesn’t close shut perfectly when u look at the side- on one side, outside, but it does hold the pee in
I let my little one pick the one she wanted so when it arrived she was taking it all over like a toy. but not being able to open it or close it frustrated her so much and i had to deal with that. taking it out means i have to have a backpack and carry it about if i want to be hands-free. its too much to ask a little one to carry it out and about if they are walking age and not using the stroller.
My little one didnt like peeing at nursery and was holding it in, so i did take this in and she had then used it at nursery, after that the next day i didnt send her in with it and then she had used the toilet at nursery.
