Bought this as a replacement for my MK outdoor sensor. This one is a quarter of the price of the MK one and works just as good. It was very easy to install
The light sensor stopped working on our outside lights. In closer inspection, I could see that the top could be rotated and came off the main body. This was the same product so just had to insert and twist the new one in place. No need to change the body or re-wire. Perfect.
To operate your outside lights from dusk to dawn, cant go wrong. Quality is good, easy to install, needs 240Vac Live, Neutral and a switch wire to turn on the lamps. The sensore head is compatable with others of the same design, so if your head has failed, it is a simple twist off / twist on replacement.
It works really well although the cable entry is not sealed. Although this shouldn’t be a problem as it’s installed with entry to the bottom it does mean the cable is not gripped firmly, so take care with any trailing lengths
