This is absolutely a game changer foe those who suffer with the heat Nd hot flushes. Yes it is a bit noisy but it is a fan by your ears it is really comfy and stays in place really well. The battery seems to last forever and is USB charged. Great quality and great product.
Great fan, 3 levels of air flow, easy to operate, love the fact I can just place it around my neck whilst out shopping in hot weather and both hands are free. I also like the fact that it looks like headphones. They are slightly noisy if you are trying to listen to the radio so I only use level 1 on the fan which I find is enough. Overall, Great item.
I could not have coped in the heat without this and took it on a river cruise. I could have sold a dozen when other people tried it. I should have shares in the company 🙂
So glad I bought this neck fan. I found it a bit noisier than i thought it would be but i got used to that. It’s great to be able to sit or walk around hands free and be cool. Fab that it rechargeable. I can now stay cool and feel more comfortable.
Does it look sad? Absolutely. Did I care? No. I get so anxious when there is a lack of air and I am in enclosed spaces. I wore this in the airport and on the plane and bus going on holiday and it is great. It is noisy but it’s white noise and I found I liked it blocking hussle out!
Cools you down quickly. Very lightweight round your neck. A bit noisy when up to the third setting which is the highest. I normally find the first setting enough. Great purchase
I find I cannot adjust the fan in towatd my face not like my old fan but I do like them comfortable to wear especially if you are lying down.
Lovely product for hands free keeping cool.
Comfortable to wear, three speed fan and last for a long time on one charge
A bit noisy, but you get used to it. Would recommend.
I have used a neck fab in my job for over a year and because of being menopausal this has been a life saver for me as my head gets so hot and I drip like a tap with sweat . This has kept that at bay consistently. I still over heat but this neck fan definitely makes it more tolerable. I bought this one as a spare and because the price is so good!!
(Review by my husband who has tested it)
This was a cheap 9.99 fan with 3 speeds and it does pretty much what the seller says. It feels well made for the price, the material is comfortable and it flexes well. I tested it after a minimum of a 4 hour charge and these are the (continuous) running times that I got. Incidentally all these fans are noisy at all speeds, but if they cool you down a bit on a hot day, then that is a small price to pay.
High power (setting 3) worked for 3 hours 59 minutes after a 5 hour charge (they claim 3 hours, so pretty much bang on).
Medium power (setting 2) 4.75 hours after 3-4 hour charge.
Low power (setting 1) 6.5 hours plus.
The down side is that it bows the air at whatever the ambient air temperature happens to be, so it gives you a pleasant breeze but no actual cooling. However, it does leave both hands free to do whatever you happen to be doing at the time. We also have a review for EcoCalm neck air conditioner/cooling plate neck fan which is far better (in my opinion), but also more money.
I used it on my holiday where temperature was around 30c and helped to cool my neck and face down.
It’s mainly useful for indoor areas such as metro, the air expelled from the fan is cancelled out with any wind outside. I have been using it on Underground/ metro for my commute to work.
This are great value for the price and quality. Super easy to use, lighter than my noisecancelling headset, feel just the same on my shoulders.
They’re flexible, so you can find the right angle for the air to hit your face, and it has 3 velocities with, of course, 3 different noise levels.
I have tinnitus so I was very concerned about how annoying/triggering this thing could be, and it’s not. I’ve used them while having conversations and you can still hear very well, and it’s a white noise that is not hurtful to my ears.
I work in the community and all that running around I do, can make me very hot especially in Summer. The fan helps cool me down and stops me from perspiring. It’s a good gadget. Needs charging a fair bit if you mostly use the high setting.
This is such a brilliant idea for a product I’m so glad I got it! Only got it yesterday and it’s been so useful already. Sat in a stuffy office this morning, or on the way to work on the bus this helps so much keeping me cool. Easy to operate, 1 button on the side which goes through the 3 speeds and on/off. Very happy
Such a good idea that can lie in disguise as headphones. My partner didn’t quite get the hang of it initially and was wearing them upside-down and wondering why they didn’t work. They charge quite quickly, stay charged for a good few hours and the lowest setting is pretty good in sweaty/muggy weather. They do get a bit noisy when you increase the power, and beware if you have shoulder length-plus hair as a couple of stands might end up trapped in the air slots. I’ve not had a chance to use in a proper heatwave yet, so will add more to this when the temperature gets above 28 degrees again.
Having not used one of these before i was pleasantly surprised as to the amount of cool air this fan produced. Lightweight if a tiny bit noisy but nothing off putting. Would recommend
Hate to discuss but menopause has hit. my head is too hot while the rest of my body is cool or cold, this is ideal for cooling just my head, cannot hear it on full speed with my headphones on so is perfect for when I am sitting playing PC games and messing about on the internet listening to music – Which I do a lot. I don’t know how it is when moving about a lot as I am not very mobile but for me it is ideal and I love it. Got it in black after reading an ad about it and bought it on the spot. Fab idea and on Amazon – the home of great ideas
I like this product very much, it’s very lightweight around my neck, keeping your hands free to do almost anything you want, within reason, I’ve had a lot of hand held ones, in the past but this is the best! Charge it up for the recommended time and you’re good to go for 3 months! Look after it, don’t treat it rough and hopefully I’ll last for a long time, it’s slightly noisy but not obtrusive, feel the breeze under the trees, cheers Marie
The design of this neck fan is discreet and easy to blend in with any clothing, from a distance it just looks like a pair of headphone resting around the neck. This makes wearing this to work with out drawing too many side eyes.
The fans deliver a nice and cool breeze up the draw lines and to the side of the head, this really helps me on commuter train in the rush hours. By keeping my head cool I find my body also sweat less and no sweat drop from my forehead anymore.
There are slots along the top side of the neck fan which distribute air evenly upwards, the rear part of the fan is flexable and allow wider neck size wearer like me. Battery last days before needed plugging in for charging, now this is must have in my work bag for daily commute use
Bought this for my mum and she loves it. The only downside, and not a massive one, is it’s hard to find the off/on switch when it’s round your neck
Bought one of these for the wife. She is CONSTANTLY moaning about being boiling hot! Well it would be constant apart from the significant amount of time she spends moaning about being freezing cold! Blimey she can moan. The kids even call her Moaning Myrtle. Anyway I bought one of these for the old bread knife and during one of her boiling hot moments I cranked it up to level ‘TYPHOON’ and strapped it round her neck. Well immediately her feet rotated outwards like Mary Poppins and she set off floating into the sky in the fashion of an Exocet missile! Apparently last seen floating over woodland in Germany shouting about being too cold. Well I don’t know how effective this will be for you if you’re planning to buy one but it certainly got rid of the ringing in my ears! Best purchase I have ever made!!
Although the fan is not as strong as it appears in the advert, when on the highest setting it certainly cooled me down during the hot weather. It is lightweight too, and can eadily be adjusted so the air hits the right spots over neck and face. The on/off/intensity button could do with being easier to reach though. But all in all l am happy to recommend this neck fan.
product works great but the air really only blows up the side of your face so cheeks and ears.
I found myself turning it side ways to get a breeze on my face.
battery lasts well and u get a good blow
I like the look, it’s flexible and comfortable to wear and it definitely cools but it’s noisy particularly on the left side. The red light indicating it’s charging is tiny and difficult to see which makes it hard to know if it’s fully charged given that the light goes off when fully charged.
