I don’t have a monitor to connect to yet, so the OLED is really great. And the controllers are beautiful. Really clear pattern and display. Definitely a must if you’re looking for a switch to play Tears of The Kingdom. Kinda annoying it doesn’t come with the game, but still worth it.
Love the design, after finishing TOTK it has been sitting there collecting dust. I really like the multiple ways to play on it it’s been really fun. Really wish the digital games were cheaper than the physical ones. Makes no sense really
This is a brilliant and versatile product. I use it everyday – docked mostly – and even brought it on holiday that worked amazing. The design has remained clear and aesthetic, however I would recommend a case and screen protector combo as to prevent breaking. The design is on the back of the console itself, the Dock, joycons and the multi player joycons straps to use joycons individually.
A bit of a gimmick but looks very smart. The switch is OLED, simple and comfortable to use as a handheld device and works perfectly when connected to a TV. If Nintendo and Zelda are your thing then spoil yourself
But after reading up on solutions, I realised the only other way around it would be awkwardly buying a second Micro SD, transferring my data to a PC with a card reader, formatting the new card, then transferring it all onto that.
Ignoring all that, I was able to guarantee my save files (Pokemon Violet/Sword/Brilliant Diamond in this case,) transfered with my account correctly by just reinstalling one of the games from the eShop again. At that point I just suffered through formatting and redownloading every game and dlc once more.
Though that’s nothing against the console itself. It’s display is beautifully upgraded from the Lite I used before. Colours a ton more vibrant, and of course the limited edition design around the joycons and casing makes it just that much more appealing.
Even as someone who’s not the biggest Zelda fan, I can appreciate a good design. The gold accents all shine when the light hits them, making for one of my favourite limited edition consoles yet.
This console also came with a tiny controller shape to slide both joycons inside. I didn’t know such a thing existed until today. Although cute, my big hands are a bit much for it’s small frame. I’m still waiting for my likewise limited edition Zelda Pro Controller to arrive, but so far am pleased with all the accessories this has come with.
I can’t wait to get this all fully set up next to my equally white PC and monitor I’ll hook tnis up to soon.
Overall I am very happy with this upgrade, I am only a little afraid I’ll snap the console in two with how wide it is now.
Once my wallet isn’t crying from my spending this month, I may look into the Xenoblade Chronicles series.
Being a fan of The Legend of Zelda, I felt captivated to buy this in replacement for my joycon drifting 1st revision Nintendo Switch.
I was not disappointed one bit, the OLED screen is fantastic, and the details on the switch and dock look amazing and feel great in the hand. Highly recommend buying this. just hoping joycon drift doesn’t hit too quickly with my console (which is a shame to even expect such a thing).
At first I didn’t like where the A-B and X-Y buttons were. But after 2 mins of fiddling about, I got them Sorted.kudos to yourselves Nintendo . I bought BOTW and TOTK to play straight afterwards. Loving the game! Oh Mipha is bat turd crazy lol
One of the standout features of this console is its design. The Zelda Edition boasts a sophisticated gold and black color scheme that pays tribute to the iconic game. The dock features a stunning image of Hyrule Castle, while the Joy-Con controllers are designed to resemble the Master Sword and Hylian Shield. This edition of the Switch is a collector’s item that will appeal to both avid gamers and fans of the franchise.
However, the performance of the Nintendo Switch OLED Zelda Edition is what really sets it apart. The OLED display elevates the game’s visuals to new heights, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that create a striking visual experience. It’s like you’re really exploring the world of Hyrule! The Joy-Con controllers are ergonomic and responsive, providing a seamless gaming experience. This limited edition console is the perfect way to experience one of the greatest video game franchises of all time
Beautiful console and the dock is so smooth on your cheek.
THE CONSOLE DOESNT COME WITH THE GAME which is obvious if you took 2 minutes to read the description.
If you’re looking for a reason to upgrade, don’t hesitate buying this, you won’t regret 😀
I have been playing my games on a switch lite, which is great but was quite challenging for breath of the wild and skyward sword, especially when you had to turn items in the shrines and i just couldnt turn the switch to the right positions so i knew i needed the full version but i didnt want a bog standard one.
This is so gorgeous, it comes with all the zelda styling, mine was in perfect condition. You get the stand, the docking station, a cable, and the switch itself which already comes fitted with a screen protector which i thought was a nice addition. I actually bought 2 consoles, one for now, and one for investment purposes because anything zelda related holds its value.
Also, i cannot believe all the muppets on here leaving 1 star reviews because it doesnt come with the game. Really? It was never advertised as such and the game doesnt come out until the 12th May, so please dont listen to them because they are stupid.
If you are a Zelda fan, buy it. What i really liked was that Amazon put a one time password on the delivery so nobody but you is allowed to sign for it because you have to manually read the code out to the driver to be given the parcel.
Solid 5/5. And 10/10 to Amazon for the additional security for it.
I received the package with bumps and broken at the corners
I do recommend purchase this console directly on the nintendo page for better packaging
Nonetheless I am giving 5 stars
This OLED console model looks amazing, being Zelda themed, and also as an OLED has a larger screen and a much better display, with the games looking great when used in portable mode. There are also other advantages that come with an OLED model such as improved battery life and bigger storage.
To conclude, I’d say this model is a must for Zelda fans, as well as being worth it if you want to upgrade from the first generation console. Also, if you don’t own the 1st generation I’d say this is totally better if you will use it in portable mode. Being a limited edition model will hold better its value in time, should you decide to sell it later on. However, for people planning to use the switch docked I’m not sure the OLED model is worth it. …Unless of course, they are a massive Zelda fan!!
For those who have thought that the game come with this then don’t be fooled as the game hasn’t even came out and it’s not even advertised to have it, also if it were to have the game this console would be much more money.
