OBD2 Car Memory Saver 2 in 1, Vehicle ECU Emergency Power Supply Cable with Alligator Clip-On 12V Car Battery Cigarette Lighter Power Extension Socke
Instruction:
1. Make sure ignition is off and all lights and anything that draws power is off.
2. Plug into OBD2 Male port of car that is to have battery disconnected making sure it is firmly seated.
3. Shut the doors so any interior light and headlights go off.
4. Attach alligator clips on battery of a different vehicle or spare battery. (Not the one being removed or the one being installed)
5. Verify the red LED is lit on the cable. If it is not, check the polarity.
6. Staying clear of the ECU cable, disconnect the battery terminals being careful the positive does not touch the ground of the car.
7. Install new battery being certain not to open any doors or use the fob why on donor power.
Note:
It’s car emergency cable, for replacement of car batteries ONLY; since the cable is specially made with anti-protection on incorrect POLARITY, so that the electric power can ONLY be transmitted from cigarette insert to auto, and can’t be used as auto connector.

Works a treat plugged in to obd and connected clips to a good spare battery changed the duff battery saved trip settings radio stations etc,I used on a 2011 astra auto didn’t even lock selector for gearbox left in neutral while changing battery, would recommend this obd lead.
Il suffit de brancher une extrmit sur la prise OBD2 de la voiture ( trouver… ) et l’autre sur une batterie annexe. Puis remplacer la nouvelle batterie bien reconnecter. Enfin dbrancher le cble de sauvegarde.
Cela fonctionn parfaitement sur ma voiture. Je recommande.

The OBD2 memory saver is must to have if the car battery requires replacing on todays modern cars.
This piece of kit has a OBD2 plug, cigarette plug and socket and a pair of crocodile clips, red for positive and black for negative to connect to another 12 volt dc battery. Just plug into the cars OBD2 socket and connect to the spare battery before disconnecting the car battery. All the computer settings are maintained. This piece of kit is well made with long lead and good clips. I have yet to use it but believe it is good buy to have for the future if the car battery dies.
Doet waarvoor het bedoeld is. Ik heb het gebruik i.c.m. een Seat Ibiza ST uit 2016. Let erop dat je zorgt dat het verbruik minimaal is, d.w.z. bij voorkeur het raam van het bestuurdersportier open, alle deuren dicht en op slot en dan via het geopende raam de OBD-kabel naar binnen laten lopen. Zo loop je het minst risico op te hoog verbruik en doorbranden van een zekering, waardoor je alsnog alle gegevens kwijt bent. De OBD-kabel sluit je via de meegeleverde kabel aan op een tijdelijke accu of via de sigarettenaansluiting aan op een andere auto. Let erop dat het ledje van de plug aan de OBD-kabel brandt, dan weet je dat de OBD-kabel van spanning voorzien wordt. Als alles goed is aangesloten, dan kun je starten met het demonteren van de hoofdaccu. Na het vervangen kun je de OBD-kabel uit de OBD-poort halen en zijn alle gegevens bewaard gebleven. Bij moderne auto’s moet je dan tot slot nog via een OBD2-dongle de ECU laten weten dat een nieuwe accu gemonteerd is, door de capaciteit, het type en het (evt. fictieve) nieuwe serienummer van de accu op te geven.
Met name de OBD-kabel is dik en van goede kwaliteit. De krokodillenklemmen van de meegeleverde verloopkabel zijn van matige kwaliteit en de zwarte/rode beschermhoezen schuiven er zo vanaf, vandaar 1 ster aftrek.
Remplacement de batterie sans perte du code auto radio et d’autres codes du style fermeture des portes anti dmarrage et le plus aliment directement par la prise OBD et non la prise allume cigare.
