I bought this for my partner to try and work out what was wrong with our car. It read the codes perfectly and he found the fault. The device can delete existing error codes and livescan can show real time information. The device is OK for general use and is good value.
This can save you a lot of money when buying a used car. Use it to see if these any faults with engine etc. Will save you a lot of headache. You can clear engine codes too if that’s something you’re looking at. However, this won’t find any faults with engine if the engine sign isn’t showing so if someone cleared engine sign and after you’ve put this in, it will show no fault codes found.
Worked well. I had a malfunction indicator light on and not knowing what the problem was, I purchased the scanner, and it told me it was the O2 sensor voltage low. I replaced the sensor and reset the fault using the scanner and issue seems sorted now.
Needed a fault code reader and ordered this having read other reviews, great bit of kit and feels good quality, I don’t think you could beat it for the price. Simple to use and like the addition of the torch in the connector. Can only recommend.
Every car or van owner should have one hasa handy light on obd end to see with easy too use and no hassle saved me paying expensive garage prices for a job i could do my self definitely buy from this brand again on other products in the range
Does not show all errors in fact on two cars it showed no errors when in face there was ?????

After checking this Device I found it good for check emissions and clearing down them. The support TOPDON are fantastic and quick to help and resolve issues. The was myself unfortunately as i was thinking it would read know errors for all cars and my car was a specific codes from the manufacturer and could not be cleared down …… so all in all i will have to give 5 of 5 starts for the support and 5 of out 5 for device doing what it’s mint to do……
Easy to use, just plug into OBD port, turn on the ignition, press a couple of buttons to read the error and a couple more to clear them. Great for troubleshooting. Saved the money spent on it right away over what it would have cost for a garage to do it. Cable long enough to use from passenger seat or to pass it out the window and use it from under the bonnet. Very happy with it.
It’s so easy to use as there is no set up just plug and play when you’re on the fly. Has helped a few cars find hidden faults and the led indicator at the bottom of the screen helps as well for a quick fault finding. Will recommend to other people who need a cheap and easy to use obd fault reade
This is a great piece of kit. Easy to use and really helpful if you’re interested in your car or buying a used car.
Had a small issue with my VW T5 which the local mechanic couldn’t resolve. Plugged this in and it immediately pinpointed the relay at fault.
Also, if you’re buying a used car, just plug this in to make sure any future purchase has no hidden faults.

This was so easy to use. Just plugged it in and pressed a couple of buttons and it bought up the error code that was causing the engine management light on my Skoda.
Quick scroll through the options, the code was cleared and the engine light gone.
Well worth the money as the garage wanted 50 just to plug it into there reader.
I just googled the error code along with my model of car and the remedy to fix my cat was there. I just replaced one pipe and it was fixed.

This is my second code reader and is a significant upgrade on my previous one despite costing less.
One superb feature is that it has a light on the end of the cable, making it easy to locate and align with the vehicle port.
I have 2 VW cars and was able to read the fault codes easily and reset service interval warnings no problem.
My friend has a garage and tried the AL400 on a couple of vehicles for me from Ford and Mercedes. He liked the software and said that it performed well, but did not record some of the more obscure faults. I’m very pleased with my purchase, and it’s brilliant to be able to reset the dash warning lights myself
I’ve used this for a couple of weeks now on various cars from vw, soda, BMW and more. Plug in and start the scan, it’ll tell you the codes and detailed fault. It also measures your 02 sensor and much more. I now use this as my go to tool for working on cars. All in all, for the price and usage of the product this is a purchase I highly recommend and glad that I did.
I replaced a sensor on my Campervan and used this to delete the DTC. It’s really straight forward to use and you can even use it in the dark due to the light built into the OBD plug. Comes with lifetime updates via a USB connection lead to connect to a computer so there’s no subscription to pay for which really appeals to me. This OBD2 reader is really easy to use, has loads of features, lifetime updates and a really great price!
The colour screen is a good size, and clear. Easy to navigate through the options. I would highly recommend this product.
Overall, a great piece of kit and very affordable.
This came about a week ago and has been used daily at my work. Does what it says on the box and fairly quick too. Easy to use and the live data reads perfectly. I would recommend this to someone who just needs to read and clear codes as well as doing live data feeds. Well worth the money, I’d be happy to pay more. Great company I will be investing in their other products too
I bought the Topdon ArtiLink 400 after comparing price and specifications with what I required. Turns out
it was an excellent choice as using it on my car I’ve cleared the diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) that were
there, these haven’t reappeared. It’s easy to use, updates can be downloaded from the Topdon website, and
for the home enthusiastic user its recommended to keep on top of any existing and possible future problems.
I haven’t owned too many OBDs but this was very easy and simple to use. No problems with finding and erasing codes. Easy to do in dark as the OBD plug itself has a built in flashlight making it easy to plug in. Would strongly advise getting one especially for its price!!! You may come across this symbol “$83” but do not fear as it doesn’t charge you extra it merely is the coding. Again I would recommend for finding and erasing codes as it found them no problem. Good value for money and doesn’t feel cheap.
Well this item did not disappoint used it on my insignia and found they it has a possible egr problem,
I was very impressed with other information this device can show like oil temp fuel levels and can do smog test but that’s not compatible with my car. It also has the ability to look up fault codes all in all I would recommend this item feels good quality and looks smart.
