I’m giving this headset 4 stars because it’s a really comfortable light weight has a good quality mic and is easy to use. I can’t give it 5 stars because this official xbox headset is a little over priced for a single sided plastic headset and it has an incredibly thin cable wich always scared me that it could break very easily. I’ve had a couple of these, however this one was not working when it arrived. On a side note if this had led lights so that you could see the buttons in the dark and the cable wast thicker and more durable then I would give this 5 stars.
My wife insisted on a chat only headset (she hates 2 ear pieces) and I reluctantly purchased her 2 of these. One is still going strong after 2 years, this one literally just died 6 days after 1 year of purchase. The reason I was originally reluctant to buy this design of headset was because the original Xbox One version would typically last 3 months before failure (my experience with 4 products), quality was good but reliability was dreadful. This current generation of Xbox’s chat headset is far more reliable that previous versions and is a very high quality finish. My wife likes it but I personally find these unconfortable. All in all though a years worth of use for just over 10 you can’t complain if all you want to do is hear chat.
Bought for grandson.
This head set for gaming is so good that I bought another 2 for my other grandsons. Works wonderful, sound quality is great. Had problems with other gaming set chat piece,but with these none . Delivery on time and in perfect condion.
Paid more for this than I would have wanted to but I wanted another of the original headset that came with my Xbox as I am not a fan of the bulkier and heavier headsets that seem to be standard for gaming, and couldn’t find this product elsewhere. Only made minimal use of it so far but have seen many reviews about the product breaking after so long, hopefully I will have more luck with mine.
Hubby has had a pair of these for years – no complaints. Initially bought a cheaper, alternative brand for our son (as these unfortunately were not in stock at the time) but replaced them with these less than a month later. Great sound quality, good fit. Fab price. No complaints from son or hubby – happy days
Excellent product. This item highlights the reason to buy genuine products. Previously used inferior versions that break every five minutes. These have been great from day one and still out performing others 4 months late
