In the past, I have used the corers that also cut the apple into segments, they have been good for slicing but not very good at coring. This corer is much easier to direct round the core and does the job perfectly. simple to use, easy to clean and wash. Very pleased.

I’ve only used this corer once but had researched them before buying, it has reassured me that the research was worthwhile. So far I’m pleased with it, only time will tell as to its durability.
As apple corer’s go this one is excellent. The end is sharp and cuts quickly and easily into an apple and removing the core is neat, easy, quick and painless. I haven’t given it 5 stars because the coring size is standard – I have yet to find and am still looking for a corer that has a slightly larger coring size as I always find that, while all the pips are removed, there is a small part of rough core left on at least one side of the core.
The apple corer is excellent and I used it as soon as it arrived-which was next day! I needed to core the boxful of apples that I was kindly given, and which are now in slices and drying for the winter months. I made a good choice, thank you .

I find it a brilliant little device which easily performs the purposes promised – am very pleased with it.
