This makes life so much easier as o have trouble chopping veg. I’m able to grind a good sized piece of ginger and 3 big cloves of garlic in one go, saving time and chopping. The only thing I don’t enjoy is having to scrape it all out as the oils from garlic hold what you have grinded in the appliance. I usually have to bash the head and body together over the pan and then scrape the rest out. Apart from that, I love it.
Gracula is amazing at his job! Shreds fresh garlic into little pieces with minimal mess and effort. He’s easy to clean and doesn’t hold the smell which is a big plus

Clearly this is an issue with the glue holding his skin and hair together- so I pulled the two apart with relative difficulty and super glued the entire perimeter and now he’s perfect and water free!
Bought it as I thought it was cute, but it is great for crushing garlic and so easy to use. Sometimes the garlic sticks inside but a skewer gets it out quickly.
It adds a little humour to my kitchen. Works effortless and so much better than a garlic press/grating garlic or ginger.
If you’re think about getting one, do it.
Looks good, extremely highly priced for what it is to be honest, you’re just paying for the novelty factor.
You do need to use a toothpick or fork to scrape out the garlic which is a downside.
I love this little guy. He makes me smile every time I go into my kitchen and what’s more, he is a very effective garlic shredder! Easy to operate, wash, and dry, although he will fill up with dishwater if you aren’t quick.
Loved the look of this item, it’s for a present so have not tried it. Came well packaged and within the time limit, well impressed considering it had so far to come. Someone is going to be very happy with her gracula, thank you and merry Christmas.
