    Exactly what they say they are, a pile of paper held by a spiral binder in which you can write. Paper is nice quality and let’s you write smoothly… What else is there to say?

    I ordered the notebooks going through the reviews. I compared all and among this price category they are the best. If you are looking for a lesser price notebooks as was I previously, trust me just raising ur budget a little and going for these notebooks will be worth it. They are surely value for money and the quality of the pages the binding everything is great about them.
    They are perfect in size and writing on them is pretty smooth.Must buy

    Nice quality paper and three of them in the one set. Easy tear out pages for adding to a folder if that is what you want. I would say there are better than you might buy in a store and are good value for money.

    Large book and the note app is good for storing notes in case book goes missing, the covers could be a little more stiff fir when writing with book in hand, but overall very good, paper is quality too.

    Lovely bright covers, and the softest, smoothest paper I have ever written on. Also no bleed through from using highlighters and different coloured fine liners on the previous pages. Would highly recommend.

    The Oxford My Notes A4 Wirebound Notebook has truly exceeded my expectations. Its sturdy card cover gives it a professional appearance, and the A4 size offers ample writing space without being bulky. The ruled pages with margin and perforation make note-taking a breeze, while the high-quality paper handles all writing instruments superbly. It lies flat thanks to its wirebound design, perfect for writing on the go. This notebook has become my go-to companion for work and study, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and top-notch writing companion.

    Pros:

    Sturdy card cover with a professional look
    Ample writing space with ruled lines and margin
    Perforated pages for easy removal
    Wirebound design for a flat writing surface
    High-quality, bleed-resistant paper suitable for various writing instruments

    I buy these notebooks regularly. I usually buy the Assorted pack as these have always been a hardcover which is more suitable for my needs.

    I take notes on these on a daily basis, and the 3 pack usually lasts me 3-5 months.

    I prefer the Oxford quality of paper to Pukka pad, so I’ll continue to purchase these notepads for everyday use.

    Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersBuild Quaility
    ===========
    The notepads are very sturdy with the front and back still intact after a year of use. The build is a sweet spot of strength without adding too much weight. The pages feel substantial and I found them to be pleasant to write on. As a teacher I used a pad per term for rough notes (all pictures are after a term’s use of each). I especially liked the ability to slot a pen in the binder and the lay-flat nature of the pads.

    Layout & Features
    ================
    I did not find the hole punched pages useful to me but others might. It takes up writing space on an A5 pad like these. I found the margin to also take up a lot of space – if you aren’t going to use the margin then a full width lined pad could be preferred. I never needed to use the app to scan the pages (using the corner icons) so this was wasted on me.

    The Niggle
    ==========
    The issue I found is when quickly putting a notepad into my bag and taking it out (moving around a lot as a teacher during COVID), when the pages caught or snagged on something, the perforation separated pages from the pad. It takes barely any force for the page to separate. Subsequently I was left with pages stapled back in which was quite ugly. If you don’t intend to travel with the pad or repeatedly have to take in and out of a bag then this won’t be a problem.

    Summary
    ==========
    For a premium notepad I was not expecting the perforation issue and subsequently I’ve chosen a cheaper set to replace mine. If you’re not travelling or you have time to neatly pack or unpack the pads then I’d recommend them. For me a ringer-binder is essential to be able to fold it over and keep a page open without closing the covers.

    Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is a very nice paper and feels really smooth both to the touch and to write on. It is resistant to feathering, shadowing and bleedthrough from most fountain pen inks except maybe the very wettest inks. The bright white paper shows colours well and feels really premium as it is thicker than your average spiral bound notebook. The lack of bleedthrough means you can use both sides with no interference from previous work.

    My only real complaint is the size. Whilst the whole book is a standard A4, once you tear along the perforation you’ll end up with pages that are significantly narrower than standard A4, meaning that filing in a ring binder or lever arch file with normal A4 you’ll have sheets of different sizes and therefore difficulty in finding some pages. As I’m not filing the sheets in a ring binder the size isn’t an issue, but may be a consideration for you.

    I found that fountain pens (both vintage and modern) tended to write a bit narrower than on paper that is not so smooth. The difference is maybe as much as a whole nib size but some are as little as half a size. A European medium nib may look more like a fine nib (or a Chinese Medium), and this is especially true of the Chinese fine or extra fine nibs which can look a bit thin, weedy and spidery and change the look of coloured inks. The smooth paper may mean you get less feedback from the nib, so consider that if you find this important. Drying time of inks may also be slightly extended but not to a great degree. This mainly depends on the ink used. Probably shows up shimmering and sheening inks well too, but I don’t use either so cannot confirm this.

    I haven’t actually written on the paper with anything other than various fountain pens as that’s why I got it, so cannot comment on the performance of ballpens, rollerballs or gel pens.

    The squares at each corner for use with the app I don’t use and they are not pretty but not nearly as obtrusive as the ones that have a QR code emblazoned on them.

    All in all in good purchase and a well performing paper as long as the torn off size isn’t an issue for you.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally good notebooks. Feel sturdy and the cover is very nice and thick. The paper is of great quality and the spirals are amazing; really easy to turn pages with no difficulties and I haven’t seen any warping which happens a lot in others when carrying in school bags! The margins are the perfect size and both sides of the page are easy to write on to the perforations. It’s a bit tough to remove the pages (need to use some force to get it going) but it’s very precise at the perforations and I’m pleased with the difficulty because I doubt the pages will get loose on their own like often happens

    5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing notebooks!
